Chanel Cleeton is the author of Next Year in Havana, the Wild Aces series, and the Capital Confessions series. She received a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Richmond, The American International University in London and a master's degree in Global Politics from the London School of Economics & Political Science. Chanel also received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. She loves to travel and has lived in the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia.

During a weekend visit to Las Vegas, clothing boutique owner Jordan Callahan meets U.S. Air Force fighter pilot Noah Miller in a bar. After some dirty dancing and raw, hungry lovemaking, Jordan and Noah are head over heels for each other and envisioning a future together. But their long-distance relationship between Florida and Oklahoma becomes even more of a struggle when Noah receives a two-year posting to Korea. The characters are profoundly changed after a devastating accident, and Cleeton’s prose fittingly addresses the “fragility of life.” This is a sentimental book about two people in love, the military family they are part of, and the danger and difficulty of military life.
