Make no mistake. This is not a children's book , although it contains songs and poems which could, in some cases fit that category, it is a wildly diverse and eclectic collection of previously published songs (with music), heretofore unpublished poems, and even bawdy limericks (one of my favorite verse forms), accompanied by illustrations and prefaced with biographical comments. My "songs" run the gamut from zany humor and "nonsense verse" through pathos, social and political commentary, songs inspired by my favorite novels, and songs that defy discription. I am liberally outspoken and not "politically correct", or afraid to share my opinions. Those who consider themselves "Conservative" would probably be wise to avoid the book. I am a tireless critic of corruption, hypocracy, human rights and environmental abuse, and man's inhumanity to man, beast and planet Earth. My motto is "Question authority", and, although I am not religious, I consider my guiding principal to be the "Golden Rule".
