So deliciously good! I loved the first book and I love this second one more! We end on a cliffhanger that is going to have me completely impatient for the the next book in the series. "One hundred nights. For each day I deceived him, he demanded a night in return. He wanted all of me. In his bed. On his terms. At his total mercy." In the first book, you learn that both Avery and Dominick, are hiding from their past. "the broken parts of me recognize the fractures in him" Part of Avery's secrets don't stay hidden and the first book ends with Nick demanding a 100 nights from here for lying to him. A hundred nights, completely at his mercy. "Nick and I came through some of my worst secrets together, but there is more he doesn't know. Things I don't dare tell him. A truth I intend to take to my grave." The last of Avery's secrets are haunting her ever step in book 2. She's desperate to make it go away all the while she learns more of Nick's secrets that may tear them apart. Despite seeing how cold and distant Nick can be, he isn't able to stay that way with Avery. "Tell me you're mine, baby. Whenever and however I want you." We don't get Nick's POV, but if you look close enough, you see that Avery means more to him than a temporary destraction. I wasn't expecting the revelation at the end, but while it pushed Avery away, it pulled me in even more. I can't wait to see how Nick goes after Avery in book 3! ARC provided by NetGalley.

3.75 stars--- FOR 100 NIGHTS is the second installment in Lara Adrian’s contemporary, adult 100 SERIES erotic, romance trilogy focusing on billionaire businessman Dominic ‘Nick’ Baine, and artist Avery Ross. FOR 100 NIGHTS should not be read as a stand alone as the story line picks up immediately upon the events of book one-FOR 100 DAYS. Told from first person point of view (Avery Ross) FOR 100 NIGHTS continues to follow the building relationship between billionaire businessman Nick Baine and artist Avery Ross. For three months Avery kept secret her background and circumstance from the man with whom she was falling in love, and at the end of book one Dominic Baine demanded 100 nights of full access to our story line heroine in return for her dishonesty and lies. What ensues is a highly, sexualized relationship between Avery and the man whose secrets run deeper than Avery could ever have imagined. While Avery struggles to keep one step ahead of her past, the reality of Nick’s relationship with our heroine begins to unravel before her eyes. For fans of the erotic, romance genre the 100 SERIES trilogy is a familiar trope with many similarities to another popular trilogy-the broken, billionaire alpha male with issues of trust, relationship phobic, a history with a woman who destroyed his heart, and too many secrets and a hidden agenda he hides from the story line heroine. Dominic Baine’s attraction to and need for Avery borders on the obsessive resulting in an unsettling build up between Nick and the woman with whom he is falling in love. The $ex scenes are intimate, intense, numerous and graphic. FOR 100 NIGHTS does suffer somewhat with ‘middle book syndrome’ in that the slow build skirted many of the issues without answering all of our questions. The premise is intriguing; the romance is erotic and intense; the characters are passionate and playful.

I love Lara Adrian's books! I loved the first book, For 100 Days, and couldn't wait to read this one. This book continues where book one left off. Nick and Avery have redone their deal for another 100. The bedroom scenes are as hot as ever and secrets are still being kept between them . We learn more about Avery's past and about Nick's past, although not through Nick. All is good and it looks like a HEA till BAM! cliffhanger and now we wait for the final book. Just an awesome read, so different from the Breed series. Infact, I would say better than the Breed series, which is still my favorite paranormal reads! My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.

For 100 Nights, A 100 Series Novel,  Lara Adrian Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews Genre:  romance, General Fiction (adult) Well, I looked back to my review of book one on getting this – as usual its quite a time and many, many other stories since I read that. I couldn’t remember the minor details, just the very basic facts. That’s the main reason I prefer to read trilogies/duos etc back-to-back, so the story stays fresh in my mind. It just loses impact for me when its months or more between parts. So, moan over, what about this part? Well, I loved it once more. Once the story started filtering back into my brain I was able to pick up connections, though possibly missed some – I’ve found with trilogies that when I do a back-to-back read there’s always things I’d missed, little hints and snippets that I passed over unnoticed. Avery, I really like her but...sometimes I get irritated when she takes the least logical course of action. She has to, to let the plots advance that way they do but there are times when I feel an action could have been written differently, so as to make her not such a berk...to not let her do things I feel she wouldn’t have. I do like the art snippets – as an artist myself I appreciate seeing just how hard it is to get work seen and sold. So many books make someone pick up a brush, and from that first picture they get fame and fortune really quickly. real life isn’t like that, there’s many, many artists like me who have a shed full of unsold paintings ;-) And the food...mmmm....got my mouth watering! Food scenes can be very raunchy and erotic and thats shown well here. I love the way her secrets finally came out in part one, but got the feeling – especially after that ending – that there’s more to come. And there is, something huge, though looking back perhaps not quite so unexpected... Dominic, another rich, I-don’t-do-commitment guy. Seems the romance genre is full of those, and usually they fall in the end. Will Nick though or can he hold out? Looking at his past he’s cut loose as soon as there’s any kind of real emotion hits a relationship. Will he do it this time, or does he feel more for Avery? Its clear she's in love with him, and she's told him so, and thats been the thanks for a good time, and on-your-way message from him before. She's still here though. Its a great story, more secrets from both characters coming out, lots of searing sensual sex, and a solid plotline backing it. Regular readers of my reviews will know that’s a must-have for me, sex without story is just boring, bland, dull. I know there are a couple of books made up purely of sex scenes from different books – to me they’re pointless, and I just can’t see why they sell so well – takes all sorts though ;-) I’d kind of half guessed at one of the secrets, but not the whole thing, and that played out very well. Katherine is here again, and I actually managed to feel sorry for her, when after book one I really disliked her. I still don’t actually like her, but can understand her a little better now. The ending – wow – didn’t see that coming, and gah...cliff-hanger. Hate those, but fingers crossed next book due out very soon. Its middle of Feb now and it's due this spring so on the way I hope!  Stars: Five, another hot and sensual instalment with lots of surprises and story. It's finally here! After the first 100 days of secrets and uber-hot sex, and oh my what that man can do with a string of pearls, they're back! Avery and Dominic "Nick" Bane are now giving it 100 nights. Nick wants Avery anytime, anywhere at his command after she deceived him the first 100 days. So now we are 4 months into their "not a relationship". Avery is still holding something huge back from Nick, and unfortunately it comes back to bite her in a huge way. Her past just won't stay in the past. But Nick isn't exactly forthcoming with his past either, and an old flame is the key to Avery finding out more information on Nick's past and why he is the way he is. This book is full of twists and turns, and if you haven't read the first book, I suggest you do that and come back to this one! Otherwise, you'll be ruining all sorts of plot twists. This does end on a big cliffhanger, so now I'm sitting here waiting impatiently for the last book...argh!!! Loved this book!

Passion knows no bounds.... For 100 Nightswas such a suspenseful romantic/erotic read filled with twists and turns that will leave you wanting for more. Not having read other books by Lara Adrian before, I was intrigued with the story the minute I read the synopsis, it definitely drew me in right away. However, I didn't notice for some reason that this was the second book in the series so I read it before reading the first book, now there is a note from the author inside warning the reader that the book can be read without having to read the first book, and highlights that there will be a cliffhanger at the end. With that said, I still very much enjoyed reading For 100 Nights, it begins with Avery Ross waking up and finding herself in bed with her billionaire lover, Dominic Baine. She describes the events that led to her current situation which is now living the live of dazzling luxury with her lover. After struggling to make ends meet, Avery can have it all, but has no idea what to do with her new life. Her love for painting was put aside after meeting Dominic, she questioned her ability/gift and now she is ready to get back to painting again. Yet Avery knows that the fantasy life that she is living is going to last, especially when her past threatens to end what she has build with Dominic. Dominic/Nick has it all, he is successful and attractive, he also has an insane chemistry with Avery, but it is the secret that he has kept from that could ruin his plans if he doesn't tell her the truth. It's evident that both of the characters have kept things from each other, but we can see that their chemistry is instantaneous and they both truly love each other. Dominic is your typical billionaire, but the way he treats Avery would make any women swoon. He wants to give her everything she could possibly want, but that's ultimately his downfall at the end. We do get a a cliffhanger, but I cannot wait to read what happens next! The author did a good job executing the story and the characters, I am interesting in reading the first book for sure, there are so many things that we're told in this book that would have made for sense had I read the first book. Needless to say, if you're looking for a sexy read filled with twists than I would highly recommend this series. :) ***ARC provided for blog tour purposes in exchange for an honest review.***

What made Nick and Avery so provocative as a couple is the secrets they kept. He was a man of mystery that kept his life close to the vest. She was a woman trying to outrun her own demons. Two broken people seeking sanctuary in each others arms proved for a darkly sensual, complicated and dangerous love affair. I am so glad that I had the chance to read For 100 Days first because the two books complement each other in that For 100 Days lays the groundwork For 100 Nights.

Dirty, wicked & Delicious! For 100 Nights will leave you wanting more. In this second installment, Nick and Avery’s story continues as they discover more of each other and their pasts are revealed to expose the secrets they have been hiding. Fair warning there is a cliffhanger BUT the ending will leave you breathless! I for one will be counting down the days until the third installment For 100 Reasons. Lara Adrian has completely captivated me with this contemporary romance series. Her characters are so real that you can connect with them. This story is brilliantly done with surprises around every corner and erotic sex scenes that leave anyone feeling aroused. This is hands down a 5 star book!

Well, I am really disappointed to give such a low rating to a Lara Adrian story. I need to say upfront that I am not a fan of erotic books that put most of the emphasis on sex. That being said, I really like Lara Adrian as an author. I came from her background of the Midnight Breed novels and wanted to give her new genre a chance. I read and loved all of her Midnight Breed books. But this story just didn't take off the way it could have. It seemed like it was only about the sex. As another reviewer said - it got boring. I don't want to spend what little time I have available to read basically reading porn, or another version of 50 Shades of Gray (which I detested). That being said, there were some redeeming features - the plot twist saved the story and the was some character development. I'm going to remain hopeful that the final book in the series redeems things and I can give it a higher rating. In the meantime, if you like lots of steamy sex, then you will probably like this book, but it wasn't for me. Would only recommend this story to people over 18 that want to read highly erotic books with lots of steamy sex.

What can I say? I loved it. It’s well written and so captivating. The romance between Avery and Nick is sizzling hot and I kinda hate that there’s a cliffhanger =P Then again, it makes me anticipate book 3 in this series even more. I’m also glad that even though Avery didn’t come clean about her secrets right away, it didn’t make Nick throw her out again. It shows that he has grown in that aspect. And then the moment in the plane, I kinda expected Nick to have a secret of his own regarding that painting. I was pleased to see that I was right, less pleased it resulted in said cliffhanger hahaha All in all, well written and making us craving for more!!! I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review. This was a great contemporary romance. I loved the characters and the story pulled me in from the first page. I couldn't put it down until I finished this story about Dominic (Nick) and Avery. I suggest you give it a try.

Another slam dunk by Lara Adrian! For 100 Nights continues on where the first book left off. The passion between Nick and Avery is so hot and steamy, that when they get down and dirty together, I fear my eBook screen is going to short out! This book was jam packed with intrigue and danger. There is deceit, blackmail, betrayal and love. I'm very much looking forward to the next and final book, For 100 Reasons, to see how it all ends. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

Avery and Dominic story leaves you breathless and wanting more. As secrects are unvailed and feelings are made known, you think all is well. However, it also threatens to rend their relationship apart. This second installment is better than the first. I can't wait for the third.

This is the second part to Avery and Dominic's love story! I loved the second part and learning more about Avery and Dominic. Avery and Dominic have only gotten closer since making the deal to spending their nights together, but they are both keeping secrets about their pasts from each other. These secrets if not handled well can only tear them apart, but both of them fear the outcome and what it could do to their new relationship so they stay quiet about them. I was given an ARC from the author/publisher. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

100 Nights was better than 100 days and I loved 100 Days. This book was so good I couldn't stop reading it. I could read it 100 times more. I can't wait for the next book in this series. It is kind of similar, to me, as 50 Shades of Grey, not exactly the same, but a thousand times better in my opinion.
Tilly212 More than 1 year ago
This story kicks off straight on from the first book. Secrets have been confessed, emotions have run high and i was kinda hoping this was going to be a smoother ride. Unfortunately Lara Adrian doesn't let us get complacent for too long! It's a brilliant book, similar to the first in that Nick is as alpha as ever, he's in control and has Avery just where he wants her. She doesn't make it easy though, she's keeping ahold of her well earned independence. As much as she loves him she's still full of her fears and doubts but doesn't let him steamroll her when it really matters. She picks the right battles and in doing so she gets exactly what she needs. This is quite an emotional book, there's still lots going on in terms of Avery's past and finally we're finding out a little of Nick's too. The side characters help with that. Their relationship really moves forward in this book, the love is so much deeper and just as you think all is going to be perfect the author hits you with a curveball. The passion is still very much at the forefront of this story, these two are obsessed with each other. They consume each other's every thought so when they do get down and dirty it's hot to read. I'm very much looking forward to the next and final book. I've got a feeling Lara's going to be keeping us glued to the story all the way to the last page.

For 100 Nights continues where For 100 Days left off. This fairytale is quite the rollercoaster of a journey. Nick is holding Avery to her promise of giving him 100 hundred nights. He is possessive as well as protective and it's beginning to look like 100 nights might not be enough. Avery is getting used to living the life of luxury that Nick can provide. She doesn't want whatever it is that they have, to end anymore than he does. For the past nine years, Avery hasn't been able to trust anyone. She finds that now she can trust Nick up to a point but she still has secrets. After her mother's "accident", she is more than worried about the past and its consequences. She couldn't be happier with the way things are with Nick but she is trying hard to hold on to some of her independence. She hasn't given up on her dreams and starts doing just that when the past catches up with her. Nick has never felt the way he does with Avery and would do anything to make her happy. The one thing that he is unable to do is to reveal his own secrets. When Avery is threatened, she is unable to confide in Nick. Telling him might be the end of what they have together. She can only think of one way to get rid of the problem. Turning to the very same person that she has been told to avoid. In the process, she learns about some of Nick's past which makes her more determined to stick by him. As fate would have it, she is put in a position where she has no choice but to tell him the whole truth. Again, his reaction is not what she expected. He protects what's his! Nick treats her to a surprise. A nice surprise it is too. That is until Avery bumps into a mutual acquaintance. What she learns is more than just a surprise, not of a very good kind. Acting on impulse out of anger and hurt can be destructive and this is exactly what she does. Nick is still holding on to his secret past, which doesn't help. The question now is, will 100 Reasons be enough to salvage what could have been the best thing for both of them? This is an intriguing erotic story full of promises. There is danger. Deceit, blackmail, betrayal and love. I look forward to reading For 100 Reasons to see how it all ends. I received a complimentary eARC and the views expressed are my personal opinion.
