Absolutely swoon-tastic. Lauren Layne writes a fun, flirty and sexy romance novel I couldn’t put down. Heather Fowler had a dream. To be a successful New York wedding planner and she’s one wedding away from achieving it. Does it matter that the bride is totally hands off but has set impossible to meet expectations? Of course not, because she’s dead set on having her dream job in her dream city and no one, not even her loud, arrogant, too good looking for her own good womanizing neighbor will slow her down. But will a promotion truly make her happy or is she really hoping to get the fairy tale happy ever after every little girl dreams of? Josh Tanner had it all, a great job on Wall Street a gorgeous girlfriend and a movie like lifestyle, until he was diagnosed with leukemia. His girlfriend left him to go it alone and after he recovered, he no longer had the desire to keep the slick yet grueling job or lifestyle knowing that there was a lot more to life. Going against his own no relationships with the opposite sex rule, he seeks the too hard working Heather out and tries to convince her to have fun and relax once in a while. But will he drop his walls long enough to risk his heart? Lauren Layne strikes again with her smart and sexy banter that kept me smiling, laughing, getting a bit weepy and blushing scarlet red from start to the oh-my-gosh so swoony finish. The story is fast pace and smooth flowing story with brilliantly fun characters. Heather is driven, smart and sassy with a tough as nails exterior and a sweet, vulnerable inside. Even though he’s a cancer survivor, Josh came out a bit scathed and lost. Thinking that he should not subject anyone to the possible pain and suffering if the cancer ever came back, other than his family who never leave him, he’s determined to live his life alone hoping from one bed to another without actually living his life to the fullest. He puts on witty and cocky front, there’s a lot of fear underneath, along with a huge dollop of sweetness. Heather wasn’t the only one who fell a bit for the man who loved his mother and family so much. I loved how Josh and Heather fall into friendship and love. Their frenemy banter at the beginning was hysterical, their flirty banter after they got over the bickering was deliciously hot and while they were trying to figure out that they had fallen completely fell with them while Josh good-naturedly helped Heather plan his ex-girlfriend’s wedding so she could get her promotion. This is definitely one of my favorite Lauren Layne books and I like them all! Having the entire Wedding Belles gang was a lot of fun. It completed the story and piqued my interest for what’s to come! For better or Worse is book #2 in the The Wedding Belles series by Laruen Layne. It’s perfect continuation of a series that’s hailed as the marriage between Sex in the City and The Wedding Planner. It can be read as a standalone. Told from both points of view.

***ARC Provided by the Publisher/Tasty Book Tours and NetGalley*** I am a fan of Lauren Layne. I have read everything she has written and she is a one-click author for me. So, when I got a hold of this book, I was excited...because it is Lauren Layne. And then I read it.... In one freaking night... Because I could NOT put it down...and there was no way I was going to sleep without knowing how it ended. Heather is wonderful. She is smart, funny, driven, loyal and *this close* to having it all. All of her dreams, living in Manhattan, being a wedding planner, the perfect life. Maybe she is a little lonely, but that is ok...she has the rest of it. Josh had it all. And gave it up. First, he was forced to let go...and then, when the choice was his again, he chose to stay away, to live a different life. But, those events in his life also made him believe that he was going to have to be alone; that it was not ok to bring someone else into his life, to share his secrets, his fears, and his pain. Josh wants Heather. More than he even realizes at first. But how do you take someone who is finally getting all they wanted and give them the uncertain life that Josh feels is all he can offer? Answer, you realize that all of life is uncertain, that there are many things you are not able to control, that fate is fickle and that all you can do is hold on to what you have, to what is in front of you, and make it yours. For as long as you have it. For Better or Worse is about love; it is about acceptance of who you are and of others, about letting them in, about letting them see you...the good, the bad, the scary, the parts of you that you don't share with everyone. Layne hits all the right notes in this book, it couldn't be better. The pacing, the writing, the characters...all of them were as perfect as they could possibly have been...I went into this book expecting it to be good. I got perfection. And banana bread. Just read the book.

For "Better or Worse" is an absolute MUST read book of 2016! Book #2 in Lauren Layne's "Wedding Belles" series is sweet, sultry, and everything-in-between. If you love banana bread, loud music, pursuing your dreams, falling in love, planning a wedding, close-knit families, tell-it-like-it-is-truths, or undeniable chemistry, this book is for you. Another great read by Lauren Layne. Can't wait for book #3 in this incredible series.

I loved the first book so much I thought there was no way this series could get better but it did! I could not put this book down! The characters, the story line, everything about this book was wonderful. Heather Fowler has always wanted to be a wedding planner, in New York City, since the days of her mom's revolving door with men. Having just moved into a great apartment, Heather knows she is this close to being promoted from an assistant to an actual wedding planner. Imagine her surprise when one of the wealthiest socialites wants Heather to plan her wedding after seeing another weddings she has done. Being excited and up to the task, Heather didn't plan on the bride being completely hands off when it came to her own wedding or that her new, loud, next door neighbor would keep her up late on Friday nights playing his music. Josh Tanner may appear to be a partying type of guy, but after having just beat cancer, he left his job as a hedge fund manager on Wall Street to live a life careless and free, including starting his own rock band. Lately, even the band doesn't seem to hold his interest any least until he meets his new neighbor, that's something interesting! The first meeting between Heather and Josh was so funny I couldn't stop laughing. I will always think of these two when I see banana bread! :) Of course there is instant attraction between the two and Josh is all for pursuing a friends with benefits relationship, but Heather needs to concentrate on the big wedding she is planning. Little by little Josh breaks through Heather's walls and he ends up actually helping her plan the wedding because....ta da...he used to date the bride! The story these two go through while planning the wedding was perfect! It brought together two people who were both NOT looking for a real relationship and slowly put them in one without either of them really realizing it. Once the two of the gave into their feelings....BOOM! I enjoyed both of their back helped understand why each of them are like they are. Their happy ending was just magical. This story made me laugh, swoon and cry....all the great things needed for a great story. I highly recommend this book. It's not often that book #2 is even better than book #1!

LOVED this book!! The second in a series but easily read standalone. This one will have you sighing and chuckling all the way through. Heather Fowler finally gets her chance to earn a position as a full fledged wedding planner rather than just an assistant. She knows she can handle the job and the pressure. If she could just get a good nights sleep!! Pounding on the door of apt 4C and letting the guy have it for all the noise seems to be the only way that's going to happen! Josh Tanner thinks the woman currently residing in 4A is cute and sexy even if she does seem to be wound a little too tight. After a health scare, Josh change his ways and now lives his life free and easy. So why he's so attracted to the go getter next door is beyond him but he's determined to get her to loosen up a bit and she's determined to take things a bit more seriously. A great read that you need on your must read list. I highly recommend it.

Excellent characters. Awesome story. Great build. Lots of humor. Great mix of emotion. A nice amount of hotness. A little drama. This story checked every box that I could hope for in an fantastic read. :-) I absolutely adored Heather and Josh. I loved Heather, so sweet and determined. She was just so feisty and I loved her attitude and awesome comebacks. Josh was so great too. Guarded but so sexy and playful. Their first meeting was priceless! Right from the start I was so pulled in and was just excited to read their story. They're animosity is fan-freaking-tastic. Flirty, funny, and challenging. I loved Josh and Heather’s building chemistry. I loved it all! It's a true romance building from friendship. Every single thing just had me smiling and rooting for them. I love that the author pulled me in, making me feel everything they were going through. There is such a vulnerability to Josh and Heather’s characters that made them so real and endearing. While there are lots of entertaining parts throughout, this story is also laced with emotion and it really pulled on my heart strings. I loved Josh and got him and where he was coming from but just wanted to shake him and give him a hug all at once because he was being all manly-noble at times. I liked the hints throughout the story about his past and how everything development. There are so many little details to this story that come together that make it perfection. I loved Josh's mom. The relationship the Belles have. How we got more of Logan, making me excited for his and Alexis’s story next. I loved Heather's back story and her determination to make it on her own. I loved the story of her working on a wedding and how that worked into her relationship with josh. Every thing together just made for this excellent build so by the end I was laughing, crying, and smiling! It was just wonderful. Loved the writing. So many details pulling me in. Really likable and interesting characters. Excellent pace and build. I was just so entertained while reading. Seriously excellent read! I absolutely loved every single second of this. Heather and Josh's story was really perfect to me. 5 stars all the way! Complimentary copy received for honest review.

4.5 stars SO much love For Better or Worse. I seriously can't stop smiling, the characters captured my interest and heart from the first page and didn't let go until the end. I loved watching the relationship between Heather and Josh develop from neighbors, to friends then to something more... From the first meeting you know these two are going to entertain you with their story, and Ms Lauren Layne doesn't disappoint. Their relationship was an emotional and heartfelt journey that will bring out all the feels, it had me angry one min, smiling & laughing the next, then frustrated, swooning and crying a min later. Seriously all the feels came out while reading this book. Then add the ending & epilogue and I was in a very happy place and wanting to start the book all over again as I didn't want to let any of these characters go. Overall, For Better or Worse is a well written, heartfelt romance that will entertain you and leave you with a heart full of love. I'm really enjoying The Wedding Belles series, each book can be read as a standalone and I highly recommend them all!! In closing, with all the sexual tension going on between Alexis and Logan, I seriously cannot wait to get my hands on To Love and to Cherish which comes out October 18th 2016.

4.5 Stars! There are some authors that I automatically seek out and Lauren Layne happens to be one of them. Her characters are terrific and as a result, I always look forward to her next novel. For Better or Worse is an entertaining romance about an assistant wedding planner that loves her job, the people she works with, and the hustle and bustle of New York City. This is the second book from The Wedding Belles series, and it can be enjoyed as a standalone. There is a novella that precedes this series, and it is wonderful as well. Heather Fowler knew from a very young age that she wanted to be a wedding planner and live in Manhattan. She has worked really hard to achieve her goal and now she is in line for a promotion. Successfully planning the wedding of a huge reality star falls into her lap and she is very excited about it. Unfortunately, her client does not want to be involved in anyway and leaves all the planning up to Heather. The result is a wedding that Heather has dreamed of since she was a little girl. Luckily, Heather has Josh Tanner to help her with the logistics. Josh is Heather's gorgeous new neighbor, and he dated the reality star for a couple of years before she became a celebrity. Josh has many talents. He is a former financial wizard, a musician, and an all around good guy. He and Heather get off to a rocky start, but overtime, they feel more than friendship for each other. Their sexy times are hot because there are feelings involved. I really liked this novel. I love romantic stories about weddings and the trials and tribulations that surround them, so this series really keeps me enthralled and entertained. For Better or Worse is the perfect combination of romance, interesting plot, emotion and love. I connected instantly with both Heather and Josh, and there was never a moment that I did not want them to be together. The secondary characters are engaging as well. The wedding planning business is tough and the three Belles make it work. If you are looking for a fun, hot, and slightly emotional romance, add this book to your TBR list. Grab your tissues and get ready to wrap yourself in a big shiny bow full of happiness: better than a really good hug. For Better or Worse brings us the story of Heather, the assistant wedding planner at The Wedding Belles, an upscale New York company. She’s only got 3 problems: the bride for her big wedding won’t return her calls, her mother is refusing (again) to visit her in New York over Thanksgiving and her neighbor in 4a is running late-night band practice when his door isn’t revolving around his overnight female company. And now Heather has 4 problems. She can’t stop thinking about 4a. But, a relationship isn’t a thing here: it would be weird when things ended. 4a is Jake. Sexy, smart, and saucy with an obsessive fixation on banana bread. Seemingly drifting through life with his band, music, workouts and a steady stream of different women leaving in the morning, his only apparent hard rule is no relationships. He’s not immune to Heather, and her professed disinterest in a relationship is intriguing. These two are so perfect for one another, yet both so stuck in their own fears about relationships (or the ends of them) that their friendship quickly turns to one with benefits.. neither quite ready to step up and out and take a chance. Jake’s own past and guilt over his own secret that there’s a wall Heather bashes her head against, again and again, until she walks away. Fortunately, Jake’s mum and the others at The Wedding Belles are not willing to allow Heather and Jake to drift apart, unhappy and unmatched… A wonderful, and perhaps my favorite, book of the series so far: Layne combines heart, humor and a bit of good old fashioned tears to make this one come around to a happy ending. I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via NetGalley for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

For Better or Worse by Lauren Layne is the 2nd book in her wonderful Wedding Belles series. I really enjoyed the first book in this series, and couldn’t wait to read this one. Lauren Layne has proved herself to be a wonderful fun storyteller, creating another fabulous story; I loved For Better or Worse. Heather Fowler, our heroine, loves her job as an assistant wedding planner. Her dream is to be promoted to a wedding planner for the Wedding Belles firm, which she was determined to prove herself. Though Brooke joined the firm as a wedding planner not too long ago, Heather wasn’t worried, as she knew Brook was great, and a new friend. Then the chance she has been waiting for falls into her lap. Both Alexis, the boss, and Brooke convinced Heather that this new job was perfect for her. But the famous and wealthy bride, makes matters difficult putting pressure on Heather to create this wedding in 3 months time, an impossible task, especially with no help from the bride on decision matters. Heather just recently moved to a luxury condo and after a few nights of not being able to sleep due to the neighbor’s late night music. Finally, she knocks on the neighbor’s door to complain, and to her surprise she finds a hot sexy musician smiling at her. Once Heather has control of her lust for this stranger, she yells at him to keep the music down in the middle of the night. Turns out he practices with his band. The fun part begins, as Josh, her neighbor and our hero, constantly flirts with her and the banter between her sarcasm and his sexual comments were pretty funny. What follows is a friendship that at times borders on dislike and annoyance, especially on Heather side when Josh continues his sexual bantering. While both begin to enjoy each other’s company, the heat rises between them, even when they are fighting amongst each other. Finally, after both agree that nothing serious will come of this relationship; they succumb to their lustful feelings. I really loved Josh and Heather together, as they were one hot steamy couple. In the midst of their affair, Heather goes all out to try to bring this wedding to perfection. But slowly trouble arises in paradise, as Heather knows Josh is holding some kind of secret, which he refuses to discuss. He is also not happy with his band, and yearns to do something else, but again he will not talk about it. They both know that their relationship is turning to love, and Heather will not push Josh; as she is content for now to be with him. Just when the wedding planning is going well, everything will blow up; and at the same time Josh will be forced to tell Heather the truth about the issues of his past that he refuses to discuss. Will Josh stay with Heather or will he push her away? Will Heather forgive Josh once all is known? The final few chapters were very emotional for both Heather and Josh. All of the family and friends were there for each of them in what was a trying time, that kept us glued to our seat. So very well written by Layne. This was a fun enjoyable sexy story that I refused to put down. Both Heather and Josh were a great fun couple. Brooke and Alexis were terrific friends and coworkers, and I love the Wedding Belles firm. I thought Lauren Layne couldn’t do better than the first book, To Have and To Hold: but For Better or Worse was equally good or even better. If you enjoy romance, fun sexy couple, friendship, family, and laugh out loud moments, then you need

It's not very often that I can picture the characters as actors in a live movie. With Heather and Josh I totally could. Josh has had a hard road and been faced with some tough choices but the uncertainty and adversity has made him aware of his inner strength and allowed him to gain new appreciation for his surroundings. Heather balances out the seriousness with her quirky yet charming personality. I entered this story dreading the serious subject matter and exited applauding the excellent way it was handled. For Better or Worse mixes drama with charisma and ended up surprising me.

5 - "You might not love me yet, 4A, but you will..." Stars! I just have to start with a big happy sigh writing this review. Even a few days on from finishing For Better or Worse just thinking about Heather and Josh’s story makes me smile. Lauren Layne has such a strong talent when it comes to writing a series, and I have no doubt said this before, but her skill at weaving a story that focuses on a main couple, but then includes all previous and forthcoming characters any individual book is second to none. "Scratching the itch is a better solution than trying to stifle it." Friends /Frenemies with benefits when done well can produce absolutely brilliant results, and Lauren hit that balance perfectly between this pair. Their initial meeting and the following banter between them because of it set up the chemistry for them to then produce funny, sexy and emotive results as the story progressed. "The other night when you were so cranky, I thought for sure you must be a morning person… I see now that this irritable thing you have going on is more of a twenty-four/seven thing…" When things developed in relation to feelings and what they each wanted from their no-strings arrangement you just felt for each of them in what they were going through because of the other one’s choices, and I just wanted to give both of them a big hug, and then bang their heads together! "Despite all your sass, you are a relationship kind of girl, and I’m not a relationship kind of guy." This is one of those books you pick up, and don’t put down until you have finished it. I loved Heather, such a feisty and independent character, but you also saw the vulnerability in her when it came to men and relationships as the connection between her and Josh deepened. Josh with his quick wit, constant innuendo, and happy-go-lucky personality had a few secrets and demons of his own to deal with, but the drama was played out around some really great secondary plots, and the rest of the Wedding Belles entourage. He never felt so alive as when he was bickering with her, and these days being alive was everything. I cannot wait for Alexis’ book, but I have to be honest and say I am also a little nervous for it as well, especially as her suitor in To Love and to Cherish, is of British persuasion. I really, really hope that the author or her publisher has had the manuscript checked to ensure that Logan’s anglicized language is actually correct, because as a Brit myself it has the potential to affect my reading enjoyment if such a small detail hasn’t been paid attention to. Through the reading of this book it already looks like that probably isn’t the case, because I can 100% confirm that Logan would not use Bullocks as an expletive, the phrase is; B0ll0cks always has been always will be. So I wait with baited breath for To Love and to Cherish, and hope that I am wrong. "For all the today's and all the tomorrows." Every time Lauren Layne publishes a new book, I think to myself “THIS one is my favorite yet!” Well, she absolutely outdid herself with “For Better or Worse” (I say this EVERY time—but it’s true!!!). This book is everything you want in a romantic comedy. It’s charming, witty, and completely engrossing. I read this book from cover to cover in one afternoon (something I often find myself doing with Layne’s books). Lauren Layne has her formula down to an art and I love everything about it. I see it, I respect it, and I will continue to read and love everything this woman publishes. This was my kind of story. We follow Heather Fowler, assistant wedding planner, as she crosses over into the life of official wedding planner (days away from her new promotion). She’s recently moved into her fancy new apartment and has landed the biggest celebrity wedding of the year. BUT she finds herself being kept up at night by her extremely attractive and hard-to-resist playboy neighbor, Josh. They obviously don’t get off on the right foot and witty banter/sexual tension ensues. I can’ help myself—I love it when the characters don’t get along from the start. It’s a fantastic way to build up tension so that when they finally get together: BAM! Fireworks. Spoiler alert? ;) I enjoyed Heather immensely. She’s a strong, independent woman—someone who puts her wants/needs above her desire to find a man. I appreciated her passion for her work and her goal-oriented mindset. These qualities made her so relatable and totally worth rooting for. It made it that much more exciting to watch her fall in love and get her fairytale ending. If you’re looking for a delightful, romantic read—look no further than “The Wedding Belles” series. Or really, anything written by Lauren Layne! Note: I received a FREE ARC (advanced reader copy) from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Heather Fowler and Josh Tanner are fun, flirty, sexy, and just too cute for their own good – especially together! Josh is so laid-back and fun-loving one may get confused on whether they’re supposed to like him or not. Is he too laid-back? Too care-free? Not caring enough? Rude for playing his music loud at all times of the night? Well, if you ask Heather, she’d say “all of the above.” At first, that is. Before long, things get really interesting and hot, and I couldn’t put it down, nor did I want it to end. I laughed – silently and out loud. I cried – happy tears, sad tears. Their relationship was smooth and natural. I loved the way Heather dealt with Josh, and vice-versa, and that was the best first kiss I’ve read about in a while. So unexpected, but it hadn’t seem forced. They were relaxed and playful with each other, but each stayed true to who they were. No games, no falsities. Josh was conflicted in a way. He tried to live his life to the fullest after having a death scare, but he realizes that he’s not really living. Heather had her whole life planned out, but her rigidity was holding her back as well. They found themselves as they discovered each other. It was good getting reacquainted with the Belles, and I’m so excited about the next novel, which I’m hoping is about Alexis and Logan. It was an entertaining, scintillating ride with a couple of bumps and a bruise or two, but well worth the journey!

I love this series so much. Lauren Layne writes in such a way that you are instantly pulled into the story. For Better of Worse is the second book in the Wedding Belles series but can be read as a stand alone. Heater & Josh are such a entertaining couple..... their first meeting is funny!! Can't wait for the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

There's loads of bantering and sarcasm, not to mention chemistry between the two and it makes the reading time fly by. Their relationship was super cute to watch come together. I'm hooked on Lauren Layne's writing anyway, but when you have such a fun group of people like the Wedding Belles? Well... it makes a girl want to start planning some weddings in NYC. The ARC of For Better or Worse by Lauren Layne was kindly provided to me by the author for review. The opinions are my own.

Reviewed from an ARC on Netgalley. A light enjoyable two hour break from the world, I would definitely recommend this book. For Better or For Worse is the second in Ms. Layne's series, after to Have and to Hold. The book can be read as a standalone title but I do think the previous book is worth reading just for continuity. Heather Fowlers one dream is to be a wedding planner with the Wedding Belle', the foremost wedding planning group in New York. She gets her chance to step it up when she is assigned to work a wedding with a famous socialite with unrealistic expectations. She is dead set on making a splash with this wedding despite the constant interruptions from her noisy womanizing neighbor. Josh Tanner was once the king of New York. However a prolonged brush with death led him to reevaluate his life as a stockbroker and take a step back to pursue a passion for music. Unfortunately that music often runs up against Heather's bedtime and when they meet a love/hate relationship sparks. This book was light and snappy but had quite a bit of depth. Josh former diagnosis drives the way he lives his life. Even though he was technically cured, he was not living his life to its fullest. Meeting Heather, forces him to accept his demons and make actual plans for his life rather than living in the moment. This was a funny read that made me excited to see what came next.

## Mostly I loved this book. It was fun & flirty, and the two leads had terrific chemistry. The hero and heroine were both likeable and they had plenty of fun times together. What I didn't like was that we had to read about the hero having sex with other women. We get it, he's a manwhore. But mentioning it once would've sufficed. But come on, no need to hit us over the head with it.....Ginger, April, Danica, Kitty. I doubt this guy could be faithful to one woman. And I could've done without the instant forgiveness. But, that being said, it was still a marvelous read.

I have been impatiently awaiting the release of For Better or Worse. Let me tell you this book lived up to all my anticipation and expectations. Lauren Layne has found herself on my must read list with this series. For Better or Worse is Heather Fowler's story. Heather is a wedding planner assist for the Belle's. I really liked Heather and I found a quick bond this feisty yet so sweet lady. She's a very talented lady and has just received her very first wedding client to plan all on her own. Josh Tanner has not had an easy life. He fought Cancer and so far has kicked Cancer's rear end. He's a playboy and enjoying the playboy life style with music and a different woman every night. When he gets a little too loud the lady next door arrives on his door step. Little does Josh know that his life style is going to change with one look at Heather. Oh my goodness the sparks fly between these two. I so enjoyed watching the friction between between them slowly turning into flames of passion. There are so many issues between these two that a happily ever after is going to be a whole lot of work and a lot that needs to be shared between the two of them. I love the relationships within the belles. These ladies work really well together and have each other's backs. If someone messes with one of the belles they are going to get the wrath of all the belles. When something good happens to one of them they all celebrate. These ladies are not only friends, they are family. I really enjoyed For Better or Worse. This wonderful book has everything to make a page turner of a story. I laughed a lot and shed some tears along the way. There are a few twists and turns that I did not expect and they had me turning pages even quicker if that is possible. This is book two in The Wedding Belles series, however I think it will stand on it's own just fine. If you haven't read the first book you won't feel like you are missing anything but it's great so you might want to grab it. I can not wait to see what Lauren Layne has in store for us in To Love and to Cherish. I am anxious to read Alexis' story. I have no doubt it will be wonderful. Lauren Layne has characters that quickly become new "friends". I can not wait for my next visit with the Belles. I was given the opportunity to read this fabulous story so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you on For Better or Worse.

I totally loved For Better or Worse by Lauren Layne!!! this second book in her The Wedding Bells series features Heather Fowler, Alexis's assistant who is finally getting her shot at planning a wedding solo. She's determined it will be spectacular despite the hurdles, the largest one being that the bride is disinterested and uncooperative. In the spirit of dressing for the job you want, Heather moves into this great new apartment which she quickly learns comes with a major drawback, her next-door neighbor belongs to a band and they love to practice through the middle of the night. After more sleepless nights then she can take she confronts her neighbor only to find he is one hot hunk, possibly the sexiest man she's ever met. Not only is he gorgeous, he's incredibly flirtatious and charming, and unapologetic. Josh Tanner thinks his new neighbor is adorable even if she is a bit uptight. These two were hilarious together right from the start. The bickering, the banter, the lust. All good. I've yet to read the book by Lauren Layne that I didn't love, but this one just may be my favorite so far. Heather has too much going on in her life to get involved with a man. She's too busy building her career. After a battle with cancer completely changed his outlook on life, Josh is likewise too busy living his life in the moment, one day at a time, one woman at a time, with no thought to the future and no intention of settling down. His sweet new neighbor is a temptation he is surprised to find he thoroughly enjoys spending time with outside of the bedroom. They are great together as friends but can't resist the sexual tension between them for long and soon become friends with benefits. Both doing their best to convince theirselves it's just casual and convenient. For Better or Worse was an incredible story with well-developed characters, a great storyline plenty of romance, witty dialogue, and lots of steam. There were great laugh out loud moments and a couple of scenes that brought me to tears. These two were a perfect match and I loved reading about them falling for each other despite how hard they both fought it. Definitely one of the best books I've read this year. 5 stars ~Complimentary copy downloaded from NetGalley for the purpose of a honest review.

Loved the banter between Josh and Heather! It was a bit of a love/hate relationship at the beginning, but these two eventually figured it out. Josh was so stubborn, I wanted to smack him a few times throughout the book. Good thing he was the perfect combination, (at least for me), of nerdy and sexy with this love of numbers and music. I loved Heather's determination, she was just what Josh needed to get him out of his funk. And the title fits the book perfectly! As far as the Belles go, they are a great bunch and I am dying for Alexis and Logan story - I have a feeling that one is going to be explosive! 4.5 stars I received an ARC via NetGalley for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own.
