About the Author

Tyffani Clark Kemp might be the quietest person in the room, but that just means she’s probably the biggest freak too. She is a multi-genre author with a gift for the written word and a desire to help all Indies reach their full potential. In 2012, she and her best friend Kimberly Fudge started SideStreet Cookie Publishing for authors who want to remain independent, but don’t have the time or the knowledge to do it all themselves. From the age of eleven she dedicated her life to writing and making sure she was good at her craft. Now, she passes that knowledge on to others. Her friends would describe her as determined and giving. She may be quite, but she always has a story to tell.

MINOR SPOILERS This book was a fun, quick little read. I enjoyed it despite its flaws. It had a good concept but the execution could have used a little more editorial work. The writing was good and enjoyable when it wasn't cut short or choppy. I did see some spelling errors but I'm not sure if I got an ARC or the final version. I assume it's the ARC but thought it would be good to mention. The pacing was extremely quick which was good but it felt like it sped through the story. There were times where I felt like the story jumped in places and made some of the scenes confusing. I had to re-read some parts where I got confused and sometimes I still wasn't sure I read it right. It might have been because the author has two versions of this book. Nice and Naughty. I chose the Naughty version. There is one graphic love scene but I'd hardly call it explicit or too "naughty". I chuckled at the dialogue and enjoyed the characters although I felt they were incomplete and a little confusing. I think the plot could have been delved into deeper. Everything was glazed over when it could have been amazing with some polishing. Overall I felt this story was superficial but the book is good and entertaining if you want a quick and cute read. 3 out of 5 rating for me! (A copy was provided for an honest review. I was not compensated in any other way.)
