I love Jean Sasson's books. I have read 4 and will read every thing she has written. I have such mixed feelings........ I can't put them down........ I am in tears one minute and filled with anger, shock and such horror that this happens to women, to people, to human beings. My heart and prayers go out to all these women and their children. I feel so blessed!!!! Thank you, Jean; for sharing these sad horriable stories and making the world take notice. Pamisue

This is a true story by New York Times bestseller author and acclaimed women's rights and Middle East expert, Jean Sasson. In For the Love of a Son, we learn the true and heartbreaking story of Maryam and her son. The story is so interesting because it shows what happens when a child is savagely stolen away from a parent. Sadly, Maryam had her son kidnapped from her as a very small child by his father. The entire book is about her tragic search for him. Never one to leave any stone unturned, the author, Jean Sasson, also takes us on a fascinating journey describing Maryam's background and family history. I don't want to give the story away, but it is absolutely shocking; a real page turner! I highly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys true stories.
