Overview

Mercedes Stanton has lost everything. Her parents are dead, and her only option is to sell the land that has belonged to her family since the Oklahoma land rush of 1889. Forced to start over, she is offered a job with the Sutton family, and soon discovers that they are not the corrupt dynasty that her father had made them out to be.
