About the Author

Eddie Gubbins left school at sixteen to become a cadet in the British Merchant Marine. After 12 years as a ships officer on oil tankers, cargo liners and passenger ferries, he read for a degree. His experiences while sailing the worlds oceans are related in a semi auto-biographical novel " Tales From The Sea".He became a University Professor, UN consultant and distance learning tutor. When he retired, he started writing novels and attends a creative writing class. He has published short stories and several novels namely, An Ordinary Life, A Ceremony of Innocence, Innocence Exploded, Brotherly Love, A Legacy from Mary and his attempt at Fantasy The Teacher of the Rombuli, The Return of the Exiles, The prisoner of Parison and Princess Daphne.
