At the end of Blood Laws we have discovered that things in Issac's world weren't what they seemed and Stas was in the process of working with CRF to make things right for him after discovering her heritage and the secrets CRF holds. Forbidden Bonds is Tom's story and how he finally breaks away from his fathers "chains" to finally do what is right. Although it may be right, as a sniper and the son of the CEO of CRF he has made enemies. For the woman that has captured his heart he will have to decide if he's willing to make the necessary sacrifices for her. I've absolutely fallen in love with this series. Since reading the first book I haven't been able to put down the book and kept reading until there was no more.

Tom thought this babysitting job was the worst thing punishment his father could come up with. Amelia has been missing for years and now she has a new jailer. Trying to escape, she decides to use the old feminine weapon: seduction.

It continues with Tom and Amelia!!! Definitely read this series in order!! So Tom does something he's not supposed to do and gets punished but can you call it a real punishment if he is stuck with his fated mate?? Both characters have some awful pasts but together they can face anything that gets thrown at them!! I can't wait to read the next book, I love this series, I'm totally addicted and can't put these books down.

I can't get over how much I really like this series. Honestly, its one of the best I've read in the last few months. I'm officially a fan! Anywho I might put a SPOILER or 2 but thats because I feel strongly about this particular one. So, be forewarned! Amelia has been through hell and then some. Poor woman was tortured over and over again and healed over and over for 6 years. Until she's moved by Tom heir to Jonathan's Empire to a remote cabin to hide from Stas. Things arent always as they seem. Not just for Amelia but for Tom as well. He's a good guy and has been shaped by his sadistic and psychotic father if you can call him that. His saving grace is he has a conscious and is realizing just how much of a monster his father is. Tom and Amelia are drawn towards one another but both have trust issues and trying to do the right thing on Tom's part. Twist of fate has these 2 characters reeling for different reasons. Okay SPOILER AHEAD I am glad that crazy ***** of a "doctor" is dead. Anita...oh yes you remember she tried to kill Stas in book 1 well she is Amelia's main torturer besides Jonathan. Thats all I'm gonna say because believe me that woman got off easy! I'm enjoying the heck out of this series and will read more.

Amelia and Tom's story is as heart-wrenching as it is a lesson in trust, life, death and love for both of them. Tom and Amelia save each other in only the way that each of them can. It's an incredible journey for them. I am loving this series.

Tom has been trained by his father from a very young age to be the perfect soldier and assassin. After questioning some of the goings on at the CRF, Tom is put on "babysitting" duty. He is intrigued by the woman he has seen broken and battered, and with their cabin hidden in the woods, treats her more as a person than an asset. Amelia is the pet experiment for much of the CRF research. To keep her from being found by the CRF's latest recruit, she is moved to Tom's remote cabin. She is broken, battered and tortured, but can she learn to trust the man who gives her the freedoms she has only dreamt of? Feeling begin to grow between each, but do they dare trust those feelings? Or has he done so much damage that getting involved will only risk them both further? Forbidden Bonds continues the story in Lexi's Immortal Curse Series. It kept me on interested and on the edge of my seat as I read it. I grow even more enamored of this story the more I read. Cannot wait to see what happens next!

Forbidden Bonds – Immortal Bonds Series Book 2 by Lexi Foss – 5 Stars There is a note from the author at the beginning of this story that recommends reading Blood Laws (Book 1 in the series) first because Forbidden Bonds picks up right where Blood Laws left off. I read Blood Laws a while ago and was worried that I would be lost. I wasn’t. Lexi Foss writes in such a way that I was hooked from the very first sentence. Although I didn’t remember ALL of the details in Blood Laws, it came back to me rather quickly. Forbidden Bonds is a paranormal romance starring Tom and Amelia. They meet under less than pleasant circumstances and along their journey discover that lies have been told and things may not be as they appear. The common thread to both stories adds mystery and I, honestly, have no idea how it is going to end. I very much enjoy the way Lexi Foss writes. There is enough detail and cadence that keeps the story moving at a brisk pace while not short changing anything. The story is told in a dual point of view which allowed me to see how each of the main characters was feeling. I also very much enjoy the secondary characters and hope that we get to read Balthazar’s story someday. I absolutely recommend this series.

Forbidden Bonds (Immortal Curse Series Book 2) by Lexi C. Foss 5 Stars I fell in love with the first book of this series and couldn't wait to jump into this one, and I'm thrilled to say it was as good as the first. You really have to read these in order, I can't imagine starting with this one, there's too much in the first book leading to this one. This one had me wrapped from page 1, I absolutely love all the characters in these books, and I love the fact that this author is carrying these stories on through these books and the characters staying an important part all the way through. This story focuses on Tom who has lived his life to please his dad, but when he receives a punishment and has to babysit an asset things start changing for Tom really quick. When everything he thought he knew gets turned upside down and he finds himself on the run with the asset he was supposed to be guarding, Tom's life changes in ways he never thought. I can not wait till the next books in this series, this does not end in a cliffhanger for Tom, but there is still a lot of story to be told for all of the characters in this book. I love this author's writing style and the flow was perfect. I Loved It!!!

You must read book one and then continue with Forbidden Bonds. Both books in this series are a highly enjoyable read by Lexi C. Foss. She weaved and stitched together a complicated and unique paranormal love story in both books. Tom might even be hotter than Isaac, but Stas is still my favorite heroin. Wonderfully written and properly edited and formatted. They are indie books done better than many publishing house books. I am glad to recommend any book to any reader that Lexi has written. I wanted more drama in the beginning of Forbidden Bonds, but the end was worth the wait. And now two new books coming for winter is just too exciting.

Forbidden Bonds starts up right where Blood Laws (Immortal Curse #1) left off. Tom is the son of the bad guy who Amelia has been tortured by for the past 6 years. Tom didn’t know the extent of Amelia’s abuse and when he found out it was the beginning of the end of his relationship with his father. Watching Amelia grow into herself is painful yet you are rooting her on and are proud of the woman she becomes. Tom is struggling to and these two have a unique insight into the other that eventually becomes something more. This is a dark UF/PNR that made me put it down and walk away for a bit every once in awhile as I had to remove myself from the pain but I kept coming back because I had to see them through it. When they get through the other side it is like the sun after a storm. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to future installments in this series
