Jenna's past was written in too much detail for me to get around. And there's so much healing from sexual abuse, it's not magically cured by one random. It was a quick read but again, over developed in some places and under developed in others. I'm going to delete this because it is too gory for my taste

Very tough subject matter. I enjoyed this book. It hard to believe this actually haooens but human trafficking is alive and well and the more exposure to this heinous crime against innocents the better. Well done!

Yes this book was disturbing on so many level. I felt for Jenna!! What she has gone through and how strong she was at the end. It takes a lot for someone to open up about their pass!! No one will understand unless they have been through it.

Jenna Lang had a rough past but she has built enough emotional walls to protect herself. She has built a successful Tech business and is happy with her one night stands and no messy relationships. Rylan Archer is a successful programmer and hires Jenna to help him with a problem. The 2 have a rough start to their business relationship. Rylan shows interest in Jenna that she thought no one could ever have. She knows that once he knows about her past any chance they have will be gone. The story carries us through the 2 of them getting to know each other. They face cyber attacks and as well as a physical attack that will bring all Jenna's history to the light of day. I loved the strong female character. Despite how horrible her life had been she picks herself up and goes on. Rylan is an amazing guy, strong, intelligent, sexy and maybe a little geeky too. This was a great dark, romantic read. I recommend it.

This book will take you on a roller coaster of emotions but more importantly its about a woman finding safety in the last place she would think to look.

Very well written story about a horrible subject... child abuse. I would think that most people are not as strong as Jenna to be able to have made it to adulthood and be as successful with the only visible things as blue hair tatoos and piercings, but l am glad the author made her a strong character and Rylan such a good person to see around the outward to look for more. Again very well written about closed minded society can be about someone whos appearsnce is different shame on them

This book is perfect fom beginning to end. There is a perfect mix of romance, love, and mystery. If you're looking for a good book thats steamy & makes you feel some type of way, then this is /definitely/ the book. ;D

While the background to the story reveals and shocks the reader, the intensity of feeling pops right through the reader. So credibly told. At times unnerving, at others so sexy . A fun and exciting read even if it seemed short .

Shows how much someone with real compassion and love can except a person for who they really are inside and not what someone else tryed to make them. A beautiful love story about a young woman who had gone through hell and still had the strength to servive. L.M.A.

This book really lets you feel the depravity this world has come to. The very sad fact is this actually happens to our precious children and the only way to stop it is awareness.

the blurb of the book sounded great. You will be in for some twist and turns in this book. this is the author's first full length novel. if i have a preference i prefer her short stories with the cliff hangers at the end

This book starts off right where the prequel left off. Jenna has agreed to work at Archer enterprises hoping that it will draw a line that they can’t be together. She is okay with this at first because Rylan agrees to what he wants but after a while she can’t take it anymore. She is having trouble dealing with her feeling and him flirting with other people or what she thinks is flirting. After a really bad panic attack in an elevator she has no choice but to explain some of her past to Rylan. Instead of being totally freaked out by her panic attack he was helpful. He took care of her and made sure she was okay. He didn’t just drop her off and the E.R. like he could have. Rylan surprises Jenna by how he acts when she tells him a little bit about her past. In wanted to protect her and make sure she was okay. He wanted to know what he could do, what she wanted him to do. No one had ever asked her that before. She finds herself wanting to get closer to Rylan. After that night she realizes that she feels safe with Rylan something she thought she would never feel around a man again. I really like this series and can’t wait to read more. Rylan is great; he is so patient and caring with Jenna. She is everything to him and he will do anything for her. Jenna had a horrible childhood and went through things I can’t even imagine. I loved how she found some kind of peace with Rylan. That she found someone she could feel at ease with. I am excited to read more about their story in the next book. I am really pulling for them. I would like to get to learn more about Rylan. I was given this book in return for an honest review.

5 star This is a part of Jenna and Rylan’s story. You get a little of Jenna and Rylan in this story. Jenna is not a man woman but she feels like she wants Rylan every time she is around him. Rylan wants her bad. Can he get her for more than one time? Or will she shoot him down after she gets her one time. She can resist him right? I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. You can tell that both of the characters are at least a little broken. You have to wonder if they will learn to help heal the other without breaking them even more. I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

Amazing story. Couldn't put it down.

This book was disturbing on so many levels. I hated that Jenna's past was so graphically detailed. Child porn, child sex, and pedophilia, in my opinion, have no place in an erotica book. The playroom seemed so out of place and it seemed that the author was trying to make something work that just didn't make sense. This book left such a sour taste in my mouth that I am going to take a break from this author.

I enjoyed the full length book instead of a serialized book. Jenna's story is disturbing and deals with pedophilia and how she has survived her childhood. Pedophilia is something most people do not want to think about let alone read about. M.S. Parker does a very good job of writing Jenna's story.
