Congrats, you have done it again! Well written. Lots of twists and turns. I hope you are not done with Nick. He is a huge part of the intrigue. "YARAK"!

Force of Nature is the latest C.J. Box thriller. His stories usually feature Joe Pickett, and while Pickett is present this story is about his enigmatic friend - Nate Romanowski. Nate has been a presence in the Pickett household for years. But the questions abound - why does he live off the grid? where is he from? what happened to produce the quiet, but lethal man he is? Force of Nature fills in the back story as Nate is forced to confront the man who made him what he is and face the past. Nate's long love of falconry is front and center to the story and Box laces the history through the story. Nate's adversary is smart, brutal, violent and without a conscience. Nate's friends, including Joe Pickett and his family, along with friends from the reservation are pulled into the inevitable confrontation. The storytelling is pure Box - the backdrop of Wyoming and the Northwest provide the perfect backdrop. There is graphic violence, but necessary to the story. The tension builds perfectly.

An excellent page turner by C. J. Box. His protagonist is Joe Pickett, a three-dimensional, sometimes conflicted character you can root for. The novel is complete with suspense, action, mystery and even romance. If you're looking for a great summer read, escape with Joe Pickett into the wilds of Wyoming. If the book has a fault, it's that the premise is a bit far-fetched, but that's probably true of many thrillers. The bottom line is the book hooked me. I'll read more by this author.

I love the way Box describes my childhood state with all of the attitudes and lifestyles that you find in the rugged landscape. The action and mystery made this book I couldn't put down.

Good plot ruined by childish writing and poor grammar

Can this man write! Never been disappointed in one of his books yet. Being from the western part of our great country, many many of the place he writes about are areas I am familiar with.

Once again C.J.Box captivates his readers with a thriller to the end. Instead of having an "outside" theme as his other books have had, this one encompasses all the "main" characters of his past books.

Although all the Joe Pickett series of book are great, this one is on top. If you like Nate, you'll love this one. Suspenseful and fast. Not as much of Joe's family life and job as other books in the series, but still great. I can't imagine where C.J Box will go next, but I can't wait!!

Since introduced to C. J. Box and his Joe Pickett, I have eagerly awaited each new book. Force of Nature lived up to my expectations. I plan to wait a month or two, and then re read the book just for the sheer pleasure of the dialolgue - and the plot.
