Family…country…or the woman he loves…

Navy Seal Ford Marshall isn't the kind to stand by and let a woman get hurt—especially when it involves his twin sister, RJ. So, when she makes the news, accused of sparking an international incident, he doesn't care what it takes—he's going to find her and bring her home.

But he might need a little help, so he calls on the woman who has had his back during the last three years—Petty Officer Scarlett Hathaway, former communications expert-turned Rescue Swimmer candidate. She'll help him get into the country, watch his back, and…well, they might be able to have one last mission together before she leaves for a new life, a life he very much wants to be a part of now that she is off his team. Maybe he can convince her to give them a chance to kindle the spark that's simmered between them for years.

Scarlett Hathaway isn't sure what future she wants—not when she suddenly has to care for her little brother. Maybe she should quit the Navy and start a life with the man she can't seem to get out of her heart. So yes, she'll help Ford find his sister. And maybe, along the way, figure out if they have a future.

But finding RJ somewhere in the vastness of Russia with the FSB chasing them will push Scarlett beyond even her courage and make her question everything she thought she wanted…including Ford. What will it cost her to love a man who saves the world?

And when Ford is asked to choose between saving his sister, saving the world from a war, and rescuing the woman he loves…can he live with his decision?

The third book in the Montana Marshalls series will leave you breathless!

4.5 Stars FORD is a thrilling ride of danger, subterfuge, and romance with inspirational elements weaved throughout. Fans of the series and genre will love this one! I felt like the first two books in this series, Knox and Tate, had plenty of suspense but compared to Ford were tame. Ford just racks it all up a notch, both in the danger and suspense elements but also in the romance department. Lots and lots of chemistry, swoon-worthy moments that had plenty of heat without going over the line. The action pretty much kept me riveted in this story and I loved every tough minute. I've really fallen for these Marshalls (all five boys and the one girl) and their drive to protect and succeed at whatever they set their mind to, even if they don't always think before they act. I loved Scarlett and Ford from Tate's story and so I was really looking forward to finding out what was next for them. Half of the story focuses on them while the other half starts RJ's story, which I'm curious about her love interest's future as well. In the end, was it what I wished for? Full of action, adventure, danger, and romance that will keep readers entertained. At the same time there are quiet moments in this book where the characters face their own internal battles as well as deciding if they will trust in God. Definitely worth the read! Content: Violence, innuendo, slightly suggestive content, but still would consider this clean. Source: I received a complimentary copy through JustReadTours, which did not require a positive review nor affect it in any way.

This was an amazing story I didn't want to put down! I fell for Ford in the last book as we were introduced to him and Scarlett in Tate's story and it was wonderful to see their relationship develop further in this story. Ford was such a wonderful guy, protective and tough and self-sacrificing. He was wonderful at putting Scarlett first as he knew what she'd gone through in her past and he wanted to be respectful of her. I really liked Scarlett, too, as she was tough and could take care of herself. I loved the adventure as they travel to Russia to save Ford's sister, RJ, as she's wanted and doesn't know who to trust. We also get her story as she's on the run with York, the man who saved her life and is trying to protect her from everyone, it seems! I liked both of them a lot, too. RJ couldn't just sit idly by and do nothing to stop a terrible incident and I admired her a lot for that. Ford was used to depending on himself and he needed to learn to depend on God instead. Scarlett felt like God was never there for her and she had to learn that He really was. There's some great action and some amazing kissing scenes. I would recommend reading Tate first as Ford and Scarlett's story starts there. I highly recommend this book and can't wait to read about Wyatt, the next Marshall brother! I received this ebook from JustRead Tours. I was not compensated for this review. All opinions are my own.

A heart thumping Russian adventurer follows yet another Marshall brother, his sister, and a cast of others, in race for their lives across Russia. Although a standalone story, the romance between Ford and Scarlet began earlier in the series, and at times it felt like I’d missed something. I found myself preferring the blossoming romance between two minor characters more than the main storyline. A perfect story for someone who loves action and adventure—but I found some moments of introspection and romance to be a bit out of place in the high moments of danger. Little bits of the Russian language, and landscape sprinkled throughout provided that extra element of intrigue and inspired interest in the country. It is a solid story, with a terrific message of what being a hero means.

Goodness!! The third book in Susan May Warren’s Montana Marshalls series, FORD, is absolutely fantastic!! In fact, it’s so good that I am having a really hard time putting into words just how much I love it. I am not generally one to choose a single favorite book, because there are so many wonderful ones available. But FORD, oh FORD! This book shot straight to the top of my favorites list before I was even done reading it. Susan May Warren is a fabulous author. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ever read of hers. I knew the Montana Marshalls series was going to special when I read and fell in love with the first book, KNOX. TATE came next and the story was just amazing. And then FORD…FORD is riveting. This series centers around the six Marshall siblings. Reuben’s story was told in a previous series. Knox and Tate’s stories were shared in the first two Montana Marshalls books. And now, in book three, we learn the story of Ford Marshall…and some of his twin sister RJ’s story. Wyatt’s story is yet to come. Reminiscent of Dee Henderson’s O’Malley series and Dani Pettrey’s Alaskan Courage series, these books revolve around a very intertwined family. This is my favorite kind of series because all of the family members show up in some fashion in every book. As readers, we are drawn into the family and are actually made to feel a part of the family. I loved everything about FORD. The way Susan May Warren interwove the development of the characters with the suspense, the spiritual elements and the romance is unparalleled. She creates characters that are so exceptionally real that I had to remind myself, more than once, that they are fictional and that my “friends” would be okay…even when it seemed that they wouldn’t. I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through. Between Ford and York, the intensity and suspense was gripping and nonstop. Although I enjoy suspense, I am a bit jumpy and since hiding in the hall or behind the couch isn’t effective while reading a book, I had to put down the phone when it got really suspenseful. Haha…up and down, and up and down, and up down my phone went. I couldn’t leave it down for long though because I had to see what was going to happen next! The spiritual elements sprinkled throughout Christian fiction books are one of the main reasons that I read Christian fiction. Susan May Warren always handles this beautifully. In FORD, there is a stark difference between Ford’s belief in God, the way he leans on Him and calls out to Him for help, and Scarlett’s bitterness and unbelief. This allows for some deep spiritual conversations to take place that we get to witness and be challenged by ourselves. And, as we can always expect from Susan May Warren, the romance is woven throughout the story with just enough tension to be believable and to cause the reader to root for them to find a way past the hurdles and into a God-honoring relationship. And as if all of that weren’t enough, the author’s use of humor throughout the story brings a breath of fresh air amidst the mad dash across Russia to keep RJ alive. Wow…just wow! I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Read it…you’ll be glad you did! The books in this series are set up to overlap each other. So if you have not read KNOX or TATE yet, you’ll want to start with their books. But be sure to order FORD as soon as possible so that you have it ready to read when you finish Tate!

This series just keeps getting better!!! Ford is a complex character and I appreciated seeing more layers of his personality, strengths, and struggles revealed as he undertakes a personal mission to rescue his twin sister in Russia. We got to know the dynamic between him and Scarlett in the previous book, Tate, so I recommend reading the series in order for full enjoyment and understanding. They have amazing chemistry that just increases in this book. I love how they support each other and bring out the emotion in each other. They both have some internal issues to work out and as they develop their faith in God they grow closer together. The plot is non-stop and full of action and suspense as many factors come together and the characters barely stay one step ahead of the danger. A total nail-biter and I'm so excited for the next book, Wyatt! (I received a complimentary copy of the book; all opinions in this review are my own)

Ford is an extemely intense, action-packed thrill ride! This is the third book in the series, and I would definitely recommend reading these books in order so that you understand the overarching threat that is building throughout the series. As with the previous two novels, Ford contains both a main and a side story. Ford and Scarlett mount a rescue attempt for Ford’s twin sister, Ruby Jane. However, Ruby Jane (RJ) has her own story that begins developing in this book, as well. I really enjoyed the interaction between Ruby Jane and York. Occasionally RJ and Scarlett made some choices that I was frustrated with them about, putting them into even more danger than they were already in, however, it made for some exciting rescue attempts. The developing love stories between both of the pairs of main characters were just perfect and added some wonderful emotions to the story. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series now! I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

I have read a couple of other books by Susan but I haven't read any in this series. This is very different from what I expected and I liked it. This is really a romantic suspense kind of book. There is definitely a lot going on with many different characters involved. I enjoyed the different story lines which all end up merging together. My only pet peeve with the book was sometimes the writing style got under my skin like, yeah, stuff like that. Too many "yeah" pauses. Which I get that is how we talk often but I don't like reading how I talk. It was unnecessary words IMO. But once I got used to the fact that that was Susan's style I was able to settle into the book and enjoy it. A copy of this book was given to me. All opinions are my own.

Susan May Warren has stepped up the action, suspense and romance in FORD, her newest book in the Montana Marshalls series. Ford and Scarlett made their appearance in the last book, TATE and travel through many twists and turns throughout this book. It is a thrill ride from page one as her characters repeatedly find themselves in high stress situations. There are so many ‘oh no’ moments when I had to just stop reading and walk away for a minute or two. Ford, is a selfless overachiever and a rescuer, always trying to live up to his brothers’ successes and his perceived expectations of his dad. Scarlett is the ‘voice in his ear’ and has his heart even before he realizes it. But she too has family issues and is uncertain of what her future will hold. Together they find themselves in Russia attempting to rescue RJ, Ford’s twin. In the meantime, RJ as found her own rescuer in York, an ex-military protector.

"He used to say that he didn't show up where God hadn't gone first. That he didn't worry about fixing anything - that God already had it figured out. He was just following orders." This book is AMAZING! I loved it so much! I feel Sussan's books just get better and better. If you love mystery, romance, suspense, and just plain good and unique characters, this is a must-read for you. Ford and Scarlet are just perfect together and make a fantastic team. Even though they both have deep traumas and issues from their past that until this day hunt them, but they work together to get rid of those memories, hand in hand. This fast-paced, suspenseful book will grab your attention from the very first page, and I can guarantee you you'll be reading through those pages like crazy! I can't wait for book 4! Please give this book a chance, and you won't be disappointed.

Warren is a masterful story teller. I admire the talented way she takes a large cast of characters and weaves them together as she highlights the life of one. I so enjoyed reading Ford and getting to know Scarlett, Ruby Jane, and York in the process (and Ham! Oh I hope he gets his own story someday!). Much like she did in Knox and Tate, as she tells Ford's story she pulls in the characters of her next books .. and Wyatt finally shows up! I appreciate how she incorporates their individual struggles with God along their journeys. Even the seasoned believers have their moments (which, let's be honest, is like our real lives). I am not giving a solid 5 stars (I wish I could choose 4.5), not because the story isn't amazing and captivating, it is! But because she again gets quite descriptive in the kissing scenes. While I feel they served a better purpose in Ford's story than in Knox's, I still wish she'd tame it down and leave more to the imagination of the reader. I realize this is a personal preference but I'm just sharing my taste and expectations in a story. I love the Marshall family (and all their additions). I cannot wait for the next book to come out! I'm definitely going to wish I had these in paperback when the entire series is out. I would go back and reread the set again. I received a copy of this book from the publisher for my honest review, all opinions are my own.

Every time I think that Susan May Warren cannot top her previous series, she proves me wrong. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and definitely kept me up way past my bedtime. I honestly couldn’t put it down. Susan May Warren has crafted another epic romantic adventure that drew me in and kept me guessing. Ford Marshall is a man on a mission: his twin sister, Ruby Jane or RJ, needs saving. From Russia. And she’s wanted for an assassination attempt. Ford takes Scarlett Hathaway, a member of his team, the voice in his ear, to help him. Scarlett has just lost her mother, her young brother has been put into foster care, and she’s thinking of resigning from the Navy to be able to spend time with her brother. Ford and Scarlett are also fighting a mutual attraction that neither is sure will work out. Naturally the road isn’t going to be smooth for any of them. The characters in Ford are very real. In fact, I found myself feeling like I knew them in real life. They also aren’t perfect, and Ford and Scarlett both grew through the story. Ford always had to have things under control. One of my favorite quotes is this one: “When did God step off the throne and put you in charge?” Scarlett’s family life led her to question whether God even cared about her at all. I think that many of us can relate to these issues as well. I loved how Susan drew in some characters from her previous series. It’s fun to get the updates since we last heard from them. While you don’t necessarily need to have read all of her previous books, I think the Montana Marshalls series is best read in order since events and characters from the first two books are referenced again in Ford. Also, not everything is resolved at the end of the book since we still have two siblings that will have their own stories. If you like to have everything tied up when you finish reading, you may need to wait until the series is finished before starting it. This only serves to make me more excited for the next book! I would recommend Ford and the rest of the Montana Marshalls series to anyone who enjoys intrigue, romantic suspense, or epic adventure. I received a review copy from the author, but the opinions expressed here are entirely my own.

Attempted assassinations, travel to a foreign country, Navy SEALS, CIA agents, spies - what more can you ask for in a suspense novel?? Ford has all of this and more as Ford Marshall heads to Russia to find his twin sister who has been implicated in an assassination attempt on a ranking Russian official. His SEAL teammate and friend Scarlett goes with him on this mission that could go wrong at any time. Can Ford rescue his sister and work out his relationship with Scarlett? Or will this mission cost him everything? You have to read and find out!

This third installment of the Montana Marshall series is stellar. It has characters you can care about and relate to, lots of action and suspense, and a few sizzling romances with just the right amount of appropriate heat. It’s funny at times, but brings home the importance of family and keeping the right perspective on what we try to control and what we let God control. Ford is a clean read that will keep you engaged and wanting more. There are two more books in the series, which are set up nicely in Ford, so it may be premature to make this prediction, but Ford has so many of the right elements, it may be my favorite of the series. Time will tell, but for now, don’t miss Ford and Scarlett’s story. You’re going to love it.

OH, I WANT TO PUT MORE THAN 5 STARS! I think I’ve said this before, but with this latest book by Susan May Warren, it really needs to be said again. WOW oh WOW! I wonder if I was ever a character in one of Susan May Warren’s books I might not survive. Her characters all go through so much, yet, they come out at the end of the story having learned so much. The cool thing is, as a reader, so do we! The lessons each of her characters learn are lessons we can all understand and learn to apply to our lives too. I have found, anytime I pick up a book written by Susan May Warren I will receive many life lessons. She has a beautiful way of speaking truth to our souls through her words. That we have a God who is bigger than we can ever imagine, and He is there. He is our rescuer. He will not leave us, because He loves us. Not because we earn it or deserve it, but because we are His and that’s enough. One of the issues the characters in this book are dealing with is the desire to belong. Whether it’s in a family, or what they do as work. They seem to struggle with their purpose and place in life. Then life throws them in a tailspin when they try to make it all right. Ford Marshall is from a big family where there is constant competition to “one-up” the members. He’s never felt he made the mark, even though he’s a Navy SEAL. Scarlett Hathaway has lived her whole life trying to just survive, now her mother dies and she needs to care for her little brother. She really doesn’t know what her future will be. These two find themselves on a mission to save Ford’s twin sister who happens to be in Russia. In this story, there is non-stop action, romance, drama, running for their lives, kidnapping attempts, shootings, Oh! And the part I really couldn’t survive is the water. I feel so sorry for these characters and what the author puts them through. She does it all in a way which will keep you stuck to your chair, not wanting to put the book down! I am totally enjoying getting to know this whole Marshall family. I wish I could meet this very larger than life family from Montana. I think I’d love to have them as friends. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, I'm at a loss to have words eloquent enough to convey the depth of emotions and feelings I get each time I pick up one of Susan May Warrens' books. Whatever Ms. Warren writes I'll read because I know I'll be captivated and blessed in a way that is life-changing. I was given this book by the publisher which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Susan May Warren steps it up in this book. Drama, suspense, romance. This book sizzles from the opening pages to the final words. Scarlett is an outstanding heroine. Strong, courageous, and yet still tender. She is an excellent fit for Ford’s protective, proud, encouraging character. As much as I loved Ford and Scarlett’s story—Ruby Jane and York’s plot intermixed through the story was just as amazing. (Maybe even better, if that’s possible!) I cannot wait for the rest of this outstanding family saga. One quote stood out to me while reading this book, and it has stuck with me for a while. "We always think of God as our reinforcement...but he's our breacher. He's the first one through the door." This story is excellent. It sticks with you.

Ford Montana Marshalls #3 By Susan May Warren Ford Marshall just isn't himself anymore, not since Scarlett Hathaway left the team and is no longer the voice in his ear, the steadying presence he needs to get him through the mission. And now that he has the added worry about RJ he is more than a little distracted on his current mission - enough so that he just might make a mistake that he may not live to regret. Scarlett Hathaway is just about to start a new career pathway having passed the needed tests to qualify for Rescue Swimmer training. There is just one problem her half-brother Gunner needs her and her future with the Navy is in doubt. When Ford shows up asking for her help how can she say no? After all, this could very well prove to be her last mission and what better way to go out than on a rescue mission with the man who means the most to her. RJ (aka Ruby Jane) Marshall was just supposed to pass on some needed intel, after all, she's just an analyst, not an agent. But she now finds herself in hiding in Russia and the assumed attempted assassin of a Russian official. She wasn't even supposed to be in Russia and now she might never get out alive. This is the third book in the Montana Marshalls series and though Ford takes center stage as evidenced by the title of the book FORD in no way does it leave out the rest of the Marshall clan. RJ, Ford's twin sister is also a key player in this book as her mishap in Russia is the catalyst for getting both Ford and Scarlett heading to Russia and the vast unknown to rescue her. We also learn more about Scarlett and her background as she has to deal with her conflicted feelings about her mother, her mother's boyfriends, her future, and Ford-the man who seems determined to single-handedly save the world. This just might be the day that one of the Marshalls doesn't come home... Those who have read the previous books in the series (Knox and Tate) will enjoy this one just as much if not more. If you are new to the series this book will not give you trouble in any way as it could easily be a standalone title. So if you are a fan of suspense and romance you'll enjoy adding this book to your TBR (to be read) list. I was provided a complimentary copy of this book with no expectations but that I provide my honest opinion. All thoughts expressed are my own.

“Brace yourself. Because you’re about to get in over your head.” Oh my goodness...this is so much more than a cowboy book if that’s what you are thinking. Ford takes you from the US to overseas, SEAL team ops to covert ops in Russia! It continues the search for who is trying to amp up Cold War relations with US and Russia. However, now Ruby Jane Marshall is pulled into the mix when a trip to Russia pins her as an assassin. Ford can’t stop himself from going to her rescue, but even with his SEAL team experience he’s in over his head in Russia. Now he must choose between the woman he’s falling for and his twin sister. And, who is this guy York who’s helping his sis?!! “And then, in his kiss, he promised her his heart.” The kissing...y’all it’s so over the top in this book! Which, I loved! You might need a tall glass of ice tea for reading. Actually, better add a whole pitcher with extra ice! Yeah, it’s that good! RJ goes to Russia as an CIA analyst when intel comes in that there may be an assassination attempt and can’t reach her boss. She never dreams she’d be the one running from the FSB. As the mysterious York steps into rescue her, is he friend or foe? I love her story, it’s like a flipped Jack Ryan or Sydney Bristow as York likes to call her. You just have to read it, you’ll love her! “We always think of God as our reinforcement…but He’s our breacher. He’s the first one through the door.” “’Trust in the Lord—he is our help and shield.’ Psalm 115. David knew that the only way to victory was to let God lead him into battle and watch his flank and shield him when he was in over his head.” I loved these quotes. Ford is a protector at heart. That’s what makes him a great Navy SEAL. Ford’s story just stole my heart...of how he thinks he can do it on his own, but really needs others. His struggles to measure up to his brothers, to not let anyone down were so heartfelt. His love for Scarlet and his sister were woven so well around his relationship with God. I loved seeing him transform from lone wolf to trusting God more. Warren does an amazing job tying in the spiritual struggles of all her characters and seeing how God is wooing them. I’m so in love with this series and Ford knocked the other books of the series out of the park. I loved Susan May Warren’s Mission: Russia series from years ago, so taking us back to Russia just made my day! Seriously, if you love action, adventure, romance, and seeing how family comes together, you’ll love this series! And...Ford is well, just run don’t walk to get this book, because Wyatt is next and it’s going to be phenomenal! I have voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher and JustRead Tours. All views expressed are only my honest opinion. I also, bought the book, because I loved it!

This book is intense! I don’t know how Susan May Warren does it, but her books keep getting better and better. Ford takes us on a wild ride, this time through Russia and parts of Europe. I love the way each book draws us deeper into a story that is bigger and more complex than we first thought. With new layers of the story being revealed and new characters being introduced in each book, it would help to read Knox and Tate before reading Ford. It will be time well spent getting to know the Marshall brothers! Ford is a tough Navy SEAL, and he can take care of himself. He wants to make it his job to take care of everyone else in his life too – especially his twin sister, RJ, when she goes missing in Russia. He sets out to find her with the help of his teammate, Scarlett, but they find themselves in a little over their heads when mixed up with the CIA and FSB. As they work together to find RJ, Ford and Scarlett have to learn to trust each other, and to trust God to be their protector and guide. We also start to learn more about RJ’s story in this book. She is smart, brave, and willing to risk her safety for her country and her family. I can’t wait to dive back in to her story in upcoming books! Susan May Warren is a master at weaving together action and suspense, intricate plots, compelling and relatable characters, and authentic spiritual lessons. I really loved Knox, but I think Ford might be my favorite book in the series so far. Of course, that could change when Wyatt and Ruby Jane come out in the next few months! This book (and this series) is a must-read for fans of suspense, thrillers, and epic adventure stories! I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

3 Show more Review Ford I. Can't. Even. This book was fantastic! Seriously. While I have really enjoyed both Knox and Tate, Ford took the cake as being my favorite in this series so far. We got a glimpse of Ford in the previous book and, I was waiting with baited breath for his story. The wait is over! Ford opens with a bang and does not slow down. Susan May Warren is a master of pulling you in with her complex and real feeling characters. When she adds a suspenseful, action packed storyline........ masterpiece! Ford is the youngest brother of the family, and has been playing catch up with his hero brothers and father, his whole life. I really loved how SMW wove the lessons he had to learn into the story. This author may entertain with her action an romance, but she always leaves you with something deep and meaningfull to think about. This series must be read in order! I really loved how the romance developed between Ford and Scarlett. Both had to overcome and grow, but their story drew me in, and wouldn't let go! All the heart eyes!!!!!! There is another Marshall sibling that we are introduced to, and I loved that part of the story and can't wait to read that book!!!! This series is amazing! I was given a copy of this book from the publisher. All my opinions are my own.

I love Susan May Warren. She has an amazing way of building her characters. She gives a back story to each main character to explain their reactions to the what is going on without be judgy or sappy. There is always lots of suspense. So with all the excitement she has a way of showing how God is always present in good times and bad.

Author Susan May Warren has done it again with the Montana Marshalls series. This is book three in the series and about the brother, Ford. The action-packed book kept me reading non-stop until I had finished the book one Sunday afternoon. I just had to know if Ford was going to pick RJ or Scarlett—or because of his dedication to his country and SEAL team, maybe both of the women would have to be forgotten. Maybe it was true that Ford wasn't meant to be married. I wasn't going to start another series because of my schedule. But then the cover of Knox (book #1) came out, and a sneak peak of the books to come and I said, just one, I don't think Marshalls are going to be what I'm interested in. Well, here's where you CAN judge a book by it's cover!!! In seriousness, the cover work on this series is super and it did draw me in, but it was just a foreshadow of the depth of the story inside of that cover. Halfway through book #1, I knew I'd be reading the entire series. I mean, c'mon, you have to find out about the siblings. Susan May Warren always gives you just enough in each book of the characters that will be in the other books that there is no way you won't want to read them! They are that good! Her writing is so descriptive. The details in each scene allows the reader to feel like you are watching a movie rather than reading a book. You can see it, you can feel it—you become a part of the story. I highly recommend this book as well as the Montana Marshall series. The book can be read alone, but who would want to! Enjoy! I'm sure you will. Disclaimer: I have received a digital copy from the author with no expectation in return. The comments in the above review are my own.

Only one word to describe this unputdownable read and that is, WOW! This is my first Susan Mary Warren book and I am a fan! Ford is the third installation of the Montana Marshall Series. Though this is my first read of the series, I would have to say that it worked for me as a stand alone and I definitely will be picking up the other books as I cannot get enough of the Marshall family. Ford Marshall, a Navy Seal, is on a mission to save his twin sister Ruby Jane "RJ", a CIA analyst who has gotten herself mixed up in an assassination plot in Russia. Petty Officer Scarlett Hathaway's mother has just passed away and with feelings of abandonment and disappointment she leaves her position as Fords' communication guide for the past three years, to become a Rescue Swimmer. Ford calls on Scarlett for one last rescue mission to Russia. The story from beginning to end is a page turner full of action, adventure, and of course Romance while also intertwining the importance of Faith and Trust in God. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend this series, the author and this amazing book! I received a an advanced readers copy of this book for my honest and objective opinion.

I have been a fan of Susan May Warren for many years. She certainly knows how to write a great book that’s filled with suspense and all the twists and turns that a reader could want to make you want to continue to turn pages as quickly as possible. But, as in all her books, it’s the characters that make her books so compelling. This book has all of the above. It’s a great story. But I as I continued to read, I realized that I would understand all the characters and their backstories better if I had read the other two books in this series before I read this one. How did I miss this series? I have no idea, but I liked this book so much I’m going to go back; read the first two books; and then read this one again. And I’ll make doubly sure that I’m not missing any more of her books. This is obviously a terrific series, and I’m determined to not miss any of it. I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

This is the third book in the Marshall Series and it is another smashing read! The book focuses on Ford, one of the Marshall siblings. Ford is a Navy Seal who is determined to help his sister, RJ, when it is obvious that she is in major trouble in Russia. Before leaving to find her, he enlists the help of Scarlett, his former communications expert, who has always steered him in the right direction to stay safe. Scarlett is facing major decisions and possible changes in her life when Ford asks for her help. Together they embark on a journey to find RJ, but also determine where their future lies. Readers will be on a race to finish this page turner by Mrs. Warren! I could not put this book down it was so good! I cannot wait to read the next book in this series, Wyatt. I highly recommend this book and the entire series! Romantic suspense at its best! You will not be disappointed in this latest suspense-filled chase! ***I was given a free electronic copy of this book from the publisher for an honest review. This is my honest opinion. Even though I received this copy free, I also purchased the book.

We always think of God as our reinforcement. . . but He's our breacher. He's the first one through the door. Today the highly anticipated third book in Susan May Warren's Montana Marshalls series, Ford has released into the book world. And let me tell you it is a high octane, action packed, ride from Montana, to California, to overseas in Russia. So, you can travel without waiting in a TSA security check in line. The Navy SEAL thread was fun and so familiar to myself as a Navy kid. I've been to Coronado, California where SEAL training is so I could picture it. Ms. Warren ratcheted up the suspense, action, and romance from Knox and Tate. I am thoroughly enjoying this entire series and looking forward to the next installment. And let me tell you the covers are so swoony! The inspirational thread encourages, and shows that the only person that truly rescues us is God. I highly recommend this book! Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book via the publisher in association with Susan May Warren's street team. I was not required to write a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
