I am enjoying this series, but it is most disconcerting to deal with the Aussie/New Zealand dialectal issues with a novel set in Montana with no character connection to Australia/New Zealand. Such things as a trolley for a cart or zip for zipper and such phrases as ring up for call...they are just a bit jarring! Native American English speakers would not use these words and phrases. There is definitely a disconnect.

I enjoyed the story. It's a second-chance love story. Sam is a wonderful, strong character and Nicky is a bit of a neurotic, but strong, professional woman. The only concern I had was near the end of the book. Nicky had been avoiding Sam, he came to town, they had a "pleasant" time together and Sam headed home, and then all of a sudden, she's dating him again. There seems to be some part of the story missing - a disconnect that made it difficult for me to make the leap in their on-again, off-again relationship. Other than that confusing transition, I enjoyed the book at the story.
