The school year isn't over and already Ruby and the gang have had some major challenges and they aren't over yet. Ruby has realized not only what Brennan means to her, but what she means to him. To be each others definition of "home" was a special touch by Cassar.  More than one person is still out to hurt or kill Ruby. Brennan has his suspicions but getting the proof could take some doing. All the loose ends and questions that have followed readers throughout the series are finally answered here. I found the exchanging of head wreaths (and their meanings) at the Summer Solstice celebration to be elegant and beautifully done.  The last few chapters are short, but oh so necessary to the story. Again Cassar displays her romantic side with a deftness and sensitivity that shows how much potential she has as an author. There really isn't much to say without giving away things I don't want to give away, so I won't give my usual synopsis. This  book is far and away the best of the series. As a new author writing her first YA series, Cassar has grown with each book. Each one has been more complex than the previous which is as it should be. The writing feels less stilted also. As a reader, I can see where Cassar is becoming more comfortable in her skin as an author, less hesitant to take us where her characters need to go. I hope she has more stories to tell. I hope she continues to hone her chosen craft and regale us with more tales of Feylin. I was gifted a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A fun and magical journey. A definite must read. I've thoroughly enjoyed the Ruby Blue series, and this was a delightful finish. Ruby grows up a lot. And of course, I just love how these books take place in Michigan!

This kind of crap just does not happen in the real world! Oh. Right. I 'm not in the real world. I 'm in Fey....where magic, legends, and the stuff of fairy tales are real. Including unicorns. *** Ruby has found her Prince Charming. Literally. Brennan has professed his love to her and together they live happily ever after. *Pssh* As if. The road is not always paved in gold. At least not for Ruby. She is about to have the fight of her life in FOREVER BLUE. Everything else they have dealt with before now is minor in comparison. She and Brennan's love will be jeopardized and lives will be lost. Hang on tight folks, it is going to be a bumpy ride. This series was so totally amazing. Re-sparking my love of all things faery. Cassar has given us a fabulous story filled with fairies and the amazing world of Fey. Yes! Ruby actually gets to go to Fey and meet the parents. Gasp! Although that is a bit awkward at first...everything is unbelievably magical. Fey captures Ruby's heart and she finds she never wants to leave. But that is where the fun ends and the serious begins. Like I mentioned earlier, Ruby and Brennan have one heck of a fight coming up. Someone wants Ruby dead and will stop at nothing to make it happen. Brennan is doing everything he can to prevent it, but even he has his limitations. Will Ruby's energy be enough to help them through this? Maybe, maybe not. Only time will tell. The romance. Oh the sweet beautiful romance. We are getting to see an entirely different side of Brennan in FOREVER BLUE. He is not the same spoiled, immature character we all met way back in RUBY BLUE. Oh no. He is maturing and letting his love for Ruby show. He wants everyone to know that he loves her and she loves him. They are life-mates and it is forever. And I gotta tell you, I like this guy. A lot. I love hearing him confess his undying love for her. Such a charming Prince charming. I also love seeing how Ruby has matured as well. There were times this gal would grate on my nerves with her immature’ish ways. But over time, she has really grown up and I absolutely adore her. She has really accepted her fate much better than I ever would have. And now I am sad to say goodbye to her and this story. But nope, it is not over. I will not accept this. So for it to end, well, I am not giving in to it. I know that Brennan and Ruby have more to tell. And I need to hear it. Maybe I don't have to accept it. Maybe Cassar has other plans. Hmmmmm.... So I conclude my rambling review of FOREVER BLUE. I hope you will have time to pick up this amazing series and give it a whirl. I am absolutely positive you will love it and inhale it as I did. It really is a must read.

This book was well worth the wait. From page 1 to page  271. Julie has a way with making you a part of the story. Weather you are standing on the bank of the lake helping Ruby save Brennan or if you are standing by  Jeremy during his first trip to Fey you feel like you are part of the story.  You even get a new vocabulary! And if are lucky enough to be a member of Julies Ruby Gems you get to know the author her self! Shes awesome! I cant wait to read what she has coming next. Thank you Julie for the great books!

I'm so sad to see this series end! It's been, by far, my favorite YA series, and is the only one that I've read as many times as Harry Potter. It's that good! Full of magic and mystery, this installment when have you on the edge of your seat, wondering how Ruby will manage to thwart the latest evil creature to threaten her and the ones she loves. 5 stars for fairy awesomeness!!

~~I received this in exchange for my honest opinion~~ I love this series and am sad to see it end. But, that only means that I can read the entire serie over and over again. This is a perfect ending to a fabulous series. With everything that has gone on in the series, this wraps it up very nicely. In this book you have great adventure, fighting and someone may or may not die. A prophecy has been revealed but it could be the end of everything that Ruby knows. Julie has a knack for writing amazing stories. You will see everything that is going on. The descriptions are amazing and the storyline is one that I have become to love. If you love the other books in this series, you will love this book.

This book was an absolute blast to read. As a reader who enjoys fantasy, Suspense, and humor, this book had it all. I honestly had a hard time putting this book down once I started it. With great characters that you instantly connect with, to mythological creatures from another land, this book is a real treat. Author Julie Cassar has a great imagination and is a brilliant story teller. She blends modern times with mythical, then adds just enough suspense and humor to make for a fantastic adventure. This book may have been written with teens and young adults in mind, but I have to say, its great for us "older" readers too. Do yourself a favor, purchase this book, you won't be disappointed.

I became invested in this series immediately. I am so sad this is the end of this series. However, what a wonderful ending. Everything turned out how you always hope and that leaves you feeling great. There were tons of twists and turns along the way that had me unable to put it down. 5 stars doesn't seem like enough. Again I have to say this would make an amazing movie. Thank you so much for this amazing series! I can't wait to buy your next book.

I absolutely love this series, and the finale is no exception. I’ve laughed, cried and shouted along with Ruby through this epic magical adventure. It was so easy to read and the story just flows that I found myself at the end way too quickly. A series with characters that will never be forgotten and read time and time again whenever I need a light pick me up. I received an e-copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Julie has done it again!! Forever Blue is a book that grabbed me by the heart and didn’t let go until I shut the book with a content sigh.  Ruby Blue is finally with her “prince-not-so-charming” who finally is actually charming! She faces some challenges as someone is still out to take her out! You will hold your breath as her and her fairy friends encounter some deathly challenges. When I was reading the last couple chapters I felt like I was holding my breath! I couldn’t believe how Julie wound me around her finger as she pulled me into Ruby and Brennen’s love story. At first I was unsure if I liked all that “mushy gushy” stuff because of Brennen’s snarky attitude in the past, but as their tale began to unfold I really felt like this charming love story was just…perfect! I have to say I LOVED FEY!!!! Oh my word!!! The way Julie describes the fairy world was absolutely breath-taking. I felt like I was watching it unfold before me. It made me think of the movie avatar for some reason with all the colors and glowing trees, and flowers.!!! Julie, you better write another  book quick, because I’m going to go through with drawls! Very wonderful ending to a charming series!
