My Summary: Maddon knows Kassandra Cole. He's seen her around school. She's the captain of the cheer squad and in the popular crowd. In other words, they don't run in the same crowd at all. While Kassandra has it all, Maddon has nothing. Trying to avoid his alcoholic father and the beating that go with him, he's just trying to survive high school. All that changes when Kassandra's father is lost in a terrible car accident. The one responsible is the one Maddon's been avoiding. Now he can't seem to avoid Kassandra. Drawn to her strength, he never expected to be a part of her life but healing sometimes happens in unexpected ways changing people forever. My Thoughts: 5 stars - A heart wrenching story of love and healing that I loved What does one say of a Tiffany King book? This is my second one and both times her characters captured my heart and didn't let go. My heart broke for both Kassandra and Maddon. I hurt for them. I cheered for them. I cried for them. And I wanted to hug them. Tiffany does a excellent job of creating strong, real characters and I believe that is what makes her books so fabulous. Another thing that sets this book apart is the difficult topics that are addressed in it. This isn't just a boy from the wrong crowd falls for a popular girl kind of story. No, this story is dealing with some painful life issues along the way. It feels real. I recognize these issues from my students life's and I'm so glad that there are books out there that will help young peeps as well as entertain them. Another good one from Tiff. Make sure you make time for Forever Changed, cause it's gonna have an effect on you. Quotes I loved He pulled back after a moment. I opened my eyes to find him studying me intently. Self-consciously, I loosened my hold on the back of his head. "Don't," he said a bit raggedly. "Don't what?" I asked confused. "Don't let go of me," he said, dropping his lips back onto mine. (Kindle location 2421 or 5544) "We have to because I'm not ready to give you up when I just found you." (Kindle location 4179 of 5544) "Gotcha, now scram so I can kiss my girl one more time," he told Drake, never taking his eyes from mine. (Kindle location 4245 of 5544) Check this one out!

Bad: it's only 137 pages of actual reading. A bit too short on my opinion considering it could have been better/more developed. Good: I liked both the main characters. ...just felt a bit cheated over the lack of time I was able to spend with them. Way too short for me

I always have a silent war with myself before comitting to buying and reading a book. This book I almost let slip through my fingers... I AM SO GLAD THAT I DIDN'T! If you liked wishing for someday soon you'll like this one even better. Read it, you wont regret it.

I'm really enjoying reading Tiffany King as a Contemporary Romance author. There is an ease and comfort to her writing. Forever Changed was no different. I quickly became enraptured with the story. The story begins with Kass at her father's funeral. My heart truly was breaking for her. This poor girl was left to take care of her family, since her mother was grieving so terribly. I felt so bad for Kass. She never really had a chance to grieve on her own. Then, her friends basically bailed on her. I just wanted to wrap her up in a hug. I think that her counselor really helped her once she admitted she was having trouble coping. Then, there was Maddon. I love Maddon. Unfortunately, it takes a tragedy to bring them together, but the love they have for each other is really endearing. Despite the controversy is causes, they can't seem to stay away from each other. I have to mention the supporting characters. I loved Drake and Carrie, aka Slim Jim. I'd really like to see a story develop for them. I think they'd make a great couple. *hint hint*. I would also like to mention that I loved the music aspect of the story and would have loved to see more about that part of their lives. Here's the thing, I loved the characters so much, that I wasn't ready for the story to end. The only thing keeping me from rating it a 5 was that, the development of the story was steady, but I did feel that the ending was wrapped up a little quickly. Again, I think I felt that way because, I wasn't ready for the story to end. This book is a bittersweet love story. There is major tragedy, but what comes out of that tragedy is love. I felt like this was a beautiful read that YA and Adults could identify with and truly enjoy.

137 pages. I don't feel like that size of a book really allows any true familiarity or deepth with the characters and their development.

Even though this book is only 138 pages long it took me a while to get through it because the 1st 1/2 of the book is so depressing. Midway through yhe 2 main characters bond & the story improves. Can't say I loved it but by the end I thought it was s good read.

Archer: a small black apprentice aged kit spied on the med den from a nearby bush. Her eyes had starbursts of violet and white blindness. She felt the vibrations of the earth and could picture exactly what the den looked like. She silently snuck inside and took 3 vials. One lime green, one violet, and another sky blue. She ran swiftly away into the forest

Great book but can I just say please please write a sequel. I think I love Maddon. I wish every guy were that cool! I seriously got pulled right in from the beginning of this book. I love the way the romance didn't happen too quickly. There was just the right amount of build up. Plus I love one part in particular (without giving away too much) when Kass tells her teacher off. Ha! Loved that!!!!!
