A while back, one of my favorite authors, Erin McCarthy, participated in an awesome series titled “Finding Chris Evans." Authors got together, wrote about a shared idea, and linked the series by common characters and concepts. And, Erin has done it again with "Forgetting Jack Cooper." Her story “The Stuntman Edition” was fantastic. I was drawn to and laughed with Toni and Chance - another awesome couple. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them, and all the other couples in the other “Jack Cooper” books. I would finish one book and was excited to see what would happen next. Cute plot, short and sweet stories. The perfect, quick, afternoon read! *I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this story and am posting an honest review.

I loved this story! It was a fun humorous falling in love story by Erin McCarthy. Toni Salvatore embarked on a You tube comedy career when she realized that she could make people laugh easily, but having her recent joke backfire when she mistakenly kisses Jack Cooper's stunt/body double Chance Ashton leaves her feeling out of sorts and extremely interested. I was given an ARC from the author/publisher. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

This is a quick read with a lot content and talk about opposites attract! Chance and Toni are completely opposite with Chance as the serious hunk and Toni is the fun loving funny girl. But somehow the chemistry is strong with these two. A good read especially if you like Erin McCarthy's other books. I received an advanced copy for an honest review.

This episode of features Toni Salvatore and Chance Ashton. The uber serious Chance isn't sure about being with Toni, the comedienne. He can't figure out what's a joke and what's not. The kiss knocked Toni off her feet, literally. These two need to learn to be a little bit like each other. What a great story line idea! Each person Jack Cooper owes some sort of apology to ends up on their own romantic adventure.

Forgetting Jack Cooper: The Stuntman Edition is the first full installment of the Jack Cooper redemption tour novels. Jack tries to make amends to his college buddy, Toni, now a successful U-Tube comedienne known for her outrageous comedy stunts. Appropriately she crosses paths with Jack’s stuntman Chance. While they seem an unlikely pair, things are definitely meant to be. Toni helps Chance loosen up, while Chance helps Toni take life a little bit more seriously. Fans of the movie Hitch will enjoy the shrimp scene. While Jack is not a prominent character, he definitely drives the initial meet cute. This is a fun series that is definitely worth picking up. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.

This one was one of my favorite stories in this series titled Forgetting Jack Cooper. The premise of the stories is that Jack Cooper, an up and coming actor, is researching for a new part. A role about a man seeking redemption . Jack feels that in order to play the role well, he needs to find his own redemption for things and people he has wronged. This time he wants to apologize to Toni Salvatore. Toni is a comedian that has made a name as a YouTuber. She and Jack became friends in college and thoroughly enjoyed pranks. One went a little too far, but in the end , it helped Toni begin a new career. She goes to meet Jack but arrives early on the set with the intent to give him a fake kiss to be filmed. But, much to her surprise, she kisses his stuntman and that begins a fun storyline compressed in just a few pages. Considering it’s more of a novella, the author did a good job of developing both the plot and characters. Both of which are entertaining. I was gifted this copy. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Erin McCarthy is known for her haunting stories of intriguing romance and breathtaking deception, but sometimes it's fun to explore another side to the equation. Forgetting Jack Cooper shows a lightness to the author, readers don't always see. A chance to step back from the ledge and bask in the sunshine. Chance and Toni bring on the charm as they wipe away the shadows and let the humor pour in.
