When Victoria Winslow awakens from a coma at a New York City hospital, she has no memory of who she is, how she got there, or why Jack Posthandsome and illustrious movie starhas been visiting her room daily. She certainly doesnt remember getting breast implants, or the accident that scarred her once-beautiful face. When memories do surface, Vickie senses she cannot trust them, especially when a private investigator questions if any of her memoriesfrom her love of skydiving to even her nameare real. FORGETTING ME follows Vickie through an intimate journey of self-discovery where memory loss forces her to face the harrowing question: is she more than the sum of her experiences? With bravery and keen determination, Vickie resolves to find her family and reclaim her life, knowing that she must face who she once was before she can embrace the person she always wanted to be.

I could not put this one down! The author does a great job with plot development. The reader is lost with the main character trying to figure out the past. Vickie has innate feelings about who she is but as she learns about her past she experiences a sense of conflict and disappointment. She struggles to find who she really is and who she will become. The story does a great job trying to answer the question of if we are really capable of change or if we are capable of "real" change. I greatly enjoyed this book and wish Tirado-Ryen's next installment was available. My favorite of hers is The Secrets Inside with Forgetting Me as a close second!
