He's hot. He's dangerous. And he can't remember anything.
As the owner of Apple’n Pies, Joe Applin leads a quiet, uneventful life, content to spend his days serving customers who come from all over to eat his delicious homemade pies. Along with his motley crew—Bea, Elsie, and Donnie—Joe couldn’t be happier in his little kingdom of baked goods and java.
Experience has taught Joe that love is overrated—and at times dangerous. He has no intention of repeating past mistakes. But then he meets a mysterious, handsome man with amnesia, and Joe can’t deny something sweet is in the works. He isn’t one to take risks, not with his heart and certainly not with his life, but the more time he spends with the man he knows as Tom, the closer he is to losing both.

I didn't mind the cute little pie and coffee shop or the crew of zany employees or the even zanier employer. What got old very quickly was the contrived plot and the unreal conversations particularly between the male characters. Somehow I just can't imagine some grown man giving a shy little smile as he is introduced to fellow workers. Also the book seemed to be very short.
A bit on mystery and intrigue with a really nice mix of romance. Adult read
Joe Applin worked hard to recover from a past mistake and build his Apple’n Pies. Now people come from all over to try his delicious pies. He has his own family consisting of his motley crew – Bea, Elsie and Donnie. He knows that taking chances can only lead to trouble but for some reason he cannot resist helping the man he finds injured in the back garden. Complicating things is the fact that the man has no clue who he is but wants to remain off the radar. Naming him Tom, Joe cannot resist opening his apartment and later other things to the man who cannot remember his past. Joe knows he is asking for trouble by letting him into his heart and his life, but it just feels right. You cannot help falling in love with Joe. He is an amazing man who just wants to bake fantastic pies. Unfortunately, none of us can live in a bubble. Joe has gradually let in his crew and now Tom. Tom was so much more than he appeared. The plot unfolds masterfully and we cannot help but cheer as things are slowly resolved. The motley crew is amazing and some of the scenes will have you laughing out loud. What an incredible picture Charlie Cochet has painted for us with her talent. Forgive and Forget will take you places you have never been before all while laughing, crying and cheering. If you love MM stories, do not miss this one.
This was my first read by Cochet and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wanted more! Very unique storyline, and of course a wonderful HEA. This series has yet to disappoint! Everything has been spot on. Well done, Dreamspinner Press.
