The best combat writer I know. I find him exhausting at times, since he really writes from battle to battle, but it's fun. As far as fantasy in an RP world goes, it's hard to go past this one. I never have individual opinions about Salvatore's books however. They're all just like one giant tome of story goodness.

Another great book by the fanominal Author R.A Slavator. The plot thickens still and the the tragaty makes for his best book yet in the series.

A fantasy bookset about Drizzt, a drow ranger who discovers who his friends and enemies truly are through his time in Mithril Hall. An adventurous story which kept my interest the whole way. A good read.
