I couldn't put this book down. Plot twists and hot romance. My two favorite things. I loved the chemistry between Morgan and "Guy." Their relationship didnt feel forced or rushed. They were just perfect.

Great story! The finish was amazing, not what I was expecting! Morgan is a police officer, but more importantly she is holding down the family ranch. When a stranger is injured on her land, she figures she needs to help him and she has the room on the ranch. The stranger, everyone decides to call Guy, cann’t remember anything before the accident. Doesn’t even know who he is. He feels he should do what he can to help around the ranch, feels the need to earn his keep. He begins to really like in McKenzie Ridge and the great group of people quickly become good friends. There are very questionable events happening at the ranch…are they accidents on someone targeting the ranch. Really enjoy the journey this book leads you down. The banter between the characters is always refreshing and funny.

Morgan has this awesome ranch that looks out over the town of McKinzie Ridge. At the start of the book, a body is discovered on her land. The body is still alive, but injured. Turns out that the body belongs to a man who has lost his memory, and doesn’t know who he is. Morgan senses a connection with this stranger, and the townsfolk call him Guy, for lack of a better name. Guy spends much of the book without ever knowing his real name. Morgan spends time with Guy, and they gradually fall in love. Strange things are happening on Morgan’s ranch, and no one knows why. There are theories and even a credible suspect, but things are still uncertain. Needless to say, things get resolved after a decent amount of tension and uncertainty. There was a lot of heart in this book. I loved the way Morgan and Guy spent much of the book getting to know each other. I enjoyed watching the friends interact with each other and help each other out. This is a pretty awesome series and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series. I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

When the gang finds a hurt unconscious man on Morgan's ranch they need some answers. When he wakes up he doesn't know who he is or what happened. Morgan seems to like what she sees and takes him back to the ranch. Things tart happening and they aren't sure if it has to do with him or what. They all stick together and try to figure things out as Morgan falls more in love with a guy who doesn't know who he is. I volunteered to read this book for an advanced reader copy.

The third book in the series features the story of Morgan Jameson. Finding an injured man with no memory of his identity or where he came from on her ranch is just the beginning for Morgan. Strange occurrences begin happening in quick succession on the ranch, causing her to doubt even those close to her. What is the injured man's connection to all of this? Who is he? Where did he come from? After everything is over, will they give their attraction a fighting chance? As with the previous books I've read by Stephanie St. Klaire, the book is filled with love, humor, family alongside a very healthy helping of tension and suspense. I wasn't able to suspect who the real villain was until the end, either, just like in "Redemption". This is a very good read that I heartily recommend.

I love the way Stephanie St. Klaire begins the stories in this series. Each one is so unique! You really need to read them. The series continues with Morgan’s story. Morgan Jameson, McKenzie Ridge deputy and owner of Pinecrest, a working ranch and tourist Dude Ranch, is enjoying being with friends when word comes that a body has been found on the ranch. Morgan is irresistibly drawn to the injured stranger even though he has no known past. She offers him a place to recuperate, but is Pinecrest a safe place for them to be? Are the mishaps that have plagued the ranch really just harmless or is there something sinister behind them? Beckman McCain, AKA Guy, feels as if he’s where he is meant to be. While he is recuperating, his feelings for Morgan grow deeper every day, but are the troubles Pinecrest is having because of him and who is trying to kill him? What is in his past that he is afraid to remember? Once Beck’s real world intrudes on the reality he has created in McKenzie Ridge, will this be end to the idyllic life he has found, will he now be safe or will the threats against him continue, and will he and Morgan get their chance at an HEA? This is not only a story of love but mystery and intrigue. Ms. St. Klaire writes an intense, intriguing, suspenseful romance. Her stories are real page turners, easy flow, full of action and emotions, with strong characters. The males are solid alphas with a deep-seated sense of protection for those close to them. The females are strong and independent with intense loyalty to those they care about. Each of Ms. St. Klaire’s books takes you on an amazing ride. You will truly become involved in each of her stories, finding them hard to put down. She makes you feel as if you are invested in the lives of her characters. The outcomes of each of her tales are well worth the ride! I highly recommend this and all of Ms. St. Klaire’s books! I volunteered to leave an unbiased review for a complimentary copy of this book.

This was a great story, I loved returning to McKenzie Ridge. In this story, a stranger shows up on Morgan's ranch, beaten & bruised & with no memory of who he is or how he got there. He was taken to the hospital & after he wakes up Morgan feels sorry for him because he still doesn't have any memory of who he is. She brings him back to her ranch where he does some work. For a while he is okay with not knowing who he is until there are threats made & some shots are fired. He then wants to know who he is & what is going on so he can protect Morgan.

Another great read in the Mackenzie Ridge series. This time it is Morgan, a police officer and who inherited the family ranch. A mysterious stranger is found injured on the property and after she decides to give him someplace to recover, strange things start to happen. Can't wait to read what happens next and you will not be disappointed in this book or the series itself.

Stephanie St. Klaire's latest book in the Mackenzie Ridge series, Forgotten, is her best one yet. Ms. St. Klaire grabs you by the throat with the first words and takes you on the ride of your life. This story is about Morgan, a police officer who also owns the Pinecrest Dude Ranch, and a mysterious man with compelling blue eyes whose found unconscious and injured on her property. The man awakes in the hospital and doesn't remember who he is or where he came from. Morgan and the others of their close knit group do their best to help him recover all while trying to solve a series of accidents happening around the ranch. As Morgan and "Guy" work closely together to find the culprit it's obvious to everyone but Morgan that they're perfect for one another. Morgan starts to believe in happily ever after when disaster strikes in the form of "Guy's" identity and the impossibility of their future. Ms. St. Klaire reminds us that with love anything is possible then leaves you in tears with her cliff hanger ending. This book is a MUST read!

The characters are well developed and interesting. The close-knit group of friends each have unique personalities and complement each other. The mystery of the anonymous stranger found on Morgan’s ranch leads to the suspenseful mystery. The connection of the two lead characters is believable and their romance and journey is well paced. Forgotten has humor, mystery, and smoking hot romance. Another great read from Stephanie St. Klaire

Forgotten took me back to McKenzie Ridge and into the lives of Morgan and Guy. Enjoyed watching the relationship grow while trying to solve the mystery. Grandma Lou was hilarious and had me laughing out loud. Can't wait for the next installment. Stephanie writes that town and characters so well you wish you could move there.
