John was a faithful man that served his Lord. Tragedy strikes on a family camping trip. John loses faith in God and holds God responsible. He no longer sees the world as beautiful. He sees it through the eyes of the Fade. John falls victim to Satan's temptations of alcohol and disbelief. He leaves the church and his relationship with his wife deteriorates. He scolds her for her belief in an uncaring God. Several chance meetings with a stranger named Stan convince seem to steer John farther from the Truth. Convinced that he needs to go and give God a piece of his mind, John is humbled to his core when he discovered who talks with him. He must now come to terms with everything he now holds to be untrue. His eternity rests upon his acceptance or denial of the facts.
