Although it's on the short side, Forsaken is definitely interesting and fun. Had me on the edge of my seat there were so many secrets and surprises to be found. I love the writing style- it's really beautiful and vivid, and the character dynamics are fun to explore. I'm so excited and can't wait for book two!

Poor Lucie, when the blurb says her life has turned upside down that is an understatement. I had trouble connecting with the main characters. One of the things that I did like was how well bonded as roommates and friends that Lacie and Michael were. The book did end up being interesting though. Despite many different opportunities presented in the book there really was a lack of more in depth writing. I saw a lot of places where there could have been an addition of interesting material. There were a lot of little misspells and grammar issues here and there but they started to add up and the more you go deeper in the book the more you get annoyed by them.
