I really enjoyed reading Forty Days. If you're looking for something different from the same old story line/plot then this is definitely a book for you. The author has such a wonderful writing style and the imagery is beautiful. The descriptions of the ark and the animals was fun and adorable at times. It's easy for the reader to be right in the middle of the scenes. This was a short read; you can get through it in just a couple hours or less which was also nice. I'll being reading Forty Nights for sure!
It was nice to read something that included the human emotions of the people who were stuck on Noah's Ark. Most of us know the story, but never has anybody considered how it was for them to live on an ark for forty days & forty nights. I also love the little bit of romance snuck in there and I must admit I was a little sad when I thought Jorin was no doubt dead. I enjoyed reading it.
