Found is the third and final book in the Crescent Chronicles. If you haven't read any of the books yet, I highly suggest you do so. It's addictive. After seeing the cover, you may think that the series involves angels/fallen angels, but these guys are something different entirely. Now, don't get me wrong, I love a good angel story, but it's nice to have a little something unique thrown into the paranormal romance genre too. This series is a must read! The ARC of Found by Alyssa Rose Ivy was provided to me by the author for review. The opinions are my own.

A series that I have thoroughly enjoyed, I found this story typical and but an okay read. Plot: I’ve been here before. After reading the first two books in the series, nothing much has change. There is still the power struggle, the drama with the unanswered questions and of course the uncertainty of Levi and Allie’s relationship. Half way through the book, things finally peaked up with a bit of different plot turns with character betrayals. Love: Honestly, after Allie playing the “hard to get card/I’m going to college/Not getting married young” rant, I’m glad that she FINALLY chose something. I was getting a little frustrated with always holding Levi back. Now that both are on the same page, their relationship moves forward at a great pace that gave me some closure since the story was about to end. Though I wished, I could have basked in their romance a bit more. If you ask me, I felt like their relationship moved a little too fast in this story. It was like the author was trying to play catch up, getting them to FINALLY love each other and then BAM! FIGHT! Secret Society: One thing I really enjoyed is getting to know more about Levi and his people. Allie is thrown into a world that has great history. I loved being in Allie’s shoes, learning every bit about these people. Allie herself, even learn more about why she is so drawn to Levi and his people. This part is very fun and entertaining. Found is an okay reading that closes well. The fast-paced love along with a throwback to history, Found is good.

Found is the third book in Alyssa Rose Ivy's paranormal romance trilogy, The Crescent Chronicles. Read my review for book 1, Flight, and book 2, Focus. Since this is the last book in the series I do not recommend A. Reading this review if you haven't experienced the greatness that is books 1 and 2 nor B. Reading this book if you haven't experienced the greatness of those 2 books. This is a series that you will become immersed in and consumed by. It features characters that are down to earth, even when their not, and a story line that will continue to surprise you. It's a fantastic trilogy and I definitely recommend it if you need a little supernatural in your life! Found starts off right where we left everyone. Levi is his sexy godlike self and Allie is back to her bad ass-"I'm going to do everything by myself" "Don't call me your Queen"-ways. My favorite part of the book involves a crying Allie and a supportive Jared, yes I described Jared as supportive (you have to read it to believe it!). Tiny Spoiler: The one character that really surprised me was Toby, by the end I was finding myself really liking him and feeling so bad for him. It still doesn't excuse his ways, but I understood him just a bit more. As Allie accepts her role in this world she meets more and more important people, including Levi's grandmother (who may or may not have scared me a bit). This whole book has a more comfortable feel surrounding it, now that Allie has confessed that she loves Levi as much as he loves her. But, when a shocking revelation comes to light, Allie begins to question both of their feelings and shuts him out Allie-style. It's a fun series to discuss and if anyone has read it and wants to delve into feelings and anything else feel free to email me! This book is a wonderful ending to the series and I was very happy where Alyssa took the trilogy. Everything is resolved nicely and works out just right, and there are just enough bumps in the road to keep you interested and waiting impatiently for the resolution. Thank you so much to Alyssa for the opportunity to read and review this series, it's a fantastic blend of snarky attitudes, sexy sexiness, paranormal romance, and more!! I can't wait for more Pteron madness from this great author!

LOVED IT!! Alyssa Rose Ivy is one of my favorite authors, and The Crescent Chronicles is one of my favorite paranormal series.  I have anxiously been awaiting Found, book #3 in the series, and I have to tell you I don't think it could have been more perfect.  I fell in love with Levi and his hot, swoon-worthy, and sexy self in book one of this series, and I just love his and Allie's story.  Levi is part of a supernatural group called The Society, and in fact, is destined to be the king, following in line behind his father.  Levi is a Pteron, which is a winged being, not an angel, but nonetheless very powerful.  The story is set in New Orleans, where The Society is headquartered, with branches all over the country.  Found picks up where Focus leaves off.  Since they have met, Levi's enemies in the supernatural community, which consists of many different types of beings, have tried to stop Levi from becoming king and destroy his connection with Allie, who is his mate.  Allie has also found out that her first boyfriend from back home, Toby, is a Pteron, and he is determined to have her back at any cost, to be his mate, thus destroying Levi's chance of becoming king and making himself king instead.  Allie's best friend Jess, has been kidnapped by Toby's family, the Blackwells, and Allie is determined to get her back, but what will be the cost, and what is she willing to give up in order to see this happen? Found had me captivated once again, from beginning to end.  The story is told from Allie's point of view, and she and Levi have finally made headway in their relationship, and she has begun to accept who she is and discover just how much she loves Levi.  The deeper she gets involved in The Society, however, the more secrets she begins to uncover.  The secrets not only involve things Levi has kept from her, but things she begins to find out about herself, who she is, and what she is.  We also get to see a whole new side of Levi in this story, a sweeter side, and I loved how completely devoted he was to Allie.  He literally would do anything for her.  He actually was so patient and kind to her, yet passionate and fiercely loyal and protective. We get to meet Levi's grandmother, Georgina, in this novel, who plays an integral role in helping Allie solve the mystery surrounding herself, the bond between her and Levi and the mystery surrounding it, and Allie's connection and affect on the Pterons.  I loved seeing where Alyssa Rose Ivy took the romance and relationship between Levi and Allie in Found, and the story itself is action-packed and intense.  The paranormal element of the story is creative, unique, and very interesting.  We of course, get to see some of the original secondary characters who have been such a big part of the series, Owen, Hailey, and Jared, who I love, and I hear he is going to play a big role in a followup series that Alyssa Rose Ivy is writing, which will be centered in New York, and I am so excited about this.  The ending could not have been more perfect.  I loved, loved, loved it!!  Alyssa Rose Ivy brought things together in a way that left me completely satisfied, smiling, and so very happy with the conclusion of this series.  If you are a fan of paranormal romance, then The Crescent Chronicles is a must read series and I cannot recommend it enough.

Well, I'm sad. I still can't believe this is the end of Allie and Levi's story. The Crescent Chronicles is one of the few paranormal series that has still held my attention. It's unique and I absolutely love the characters. Focus ended dramatically and left me wanting FOUND immediately. Levi and Allie have reconciled, but there are still consequences for his behavior. In this book, Allie tries to find a way to free Jess and figure out why she's been feeling poorly. It comes down to the fact that because Levi pretty much tricked Allie into their bond, they're both having physical side effects. Allie has been feeling sick and Levi can transform at the drop of a hat. The only thing that seems to help is being near each other. As Allie tries to find the answers, she learns the reason why she's captured the attention of more than one supernatural. This part of the storyline peaked my interest. While she and Levi are in love, there are other factors at play. Ultimately, Levi is her true love and no one can ever compete with the bond they share. I have so many thoughts running through my head, but I think what I loved the most about this book was simply reading about Allie and Levi again. I love Levi. He's a great character and I feel like Allie compliments him well. She challenges him. She's the perfect mate for him. What I would have like to have seen more of was getting more background on Allie's family. That part of the story was really interesting to me, but I felt like it was glazed over a bit. I also felt like the last quarter of the book felt a bit rushed; the situation with Jess, figuring out how to resolve their problem, and I kind of felt like Toby gave up quickly. Overall, I really did enjoy it. I am sad that the series is over. This series holds a great cast of characters and I'll miss them all. I'm hoping that there may be a spin-off featuring Hailey and one for Jared too! I love them both. If you're looking for a fresh take on the paranormal, check this series out! Quotes: ~I leaned over him making him lie down on the bed. Climbing on top f him, I took a moment to think about the step I was taking. I was about to willingly tie myself to Levi. I could leave without the ring if I wanted-but leaving was the last thing on my mind. I leaned down to kiss him. "It's really going to be forever." He looked me right in the eye. "I can't wait."-Loc 4843 ~Sometimes you have to take flight to find your way home.-Loc 5038

Things are finally going good for Levi and Allie. Like really good. There is only one damper...Toby is holding Jess hostage until Allie comes to her senses and returns to him on her own free will. There is only one problem with that. Allie is in love with Levi and wants nothing to do with poor delusional Toby. Soon questions start to plague Allie. How is it that the 2 guys she has ever been with are both Pterons? When Allie goes in search of answers, the ones she finds may not be what she wants to hear. What if Allie and Levi weren't meant to be together? What if their love for each other isn't real? And why the flip is it so hard for Levi to be upfront and honest with her?? Man oh man how I love this series. When the finishing of the first 2 books of the series, I would impatiently wait for the next one to come out. Seriously, I'd be itching with anticipation for that next book to release. Now that it is over I am saddened. I am happy with the turn of events and all that. But so sad that it is finally over, never to hear from the characters again. Or will I? Ivy announced on her blog that there will be a spin off. *THROWS CONFETTI* What does this mean? It means new characters to love, old ones to reminisce with, and hot, scorching romances are to be had! Yes, romance is a given when it comes to Ivy. This chick knows how to write hot, romancy books. Boy did I fly through this one. I think it took me just under 3 hours to finish this story. I started around 10p at night and finished just before 1a. There was no way I was putting this book down for anything. It was demanding I ignore any and all distractions, and I happily gave in. I flew through it and finished with an outrageous smile on my face. This series is absolutely one of my most favorites ever. No doubt about it. So thank you Ivy for creating a fabulous series. If you are reading this review and haven't had the opportunity to read the first 2 books...well, shame on you for reading my review. I believe I warned you not to read due to a possible spoiler. But since you have read it, then you most definitely need to get to cracking on this series. Like now! If you've read the first 2 books of the series, then you already know that it's a given you have to read this one. Enjoy!
