Red hot romance that will have you begging for more! Lauren is the sweet and sometimes a bit shy cousin of Olivia and Sophie. We got to see a bit of her and Xairn in “Sought” and was glad to see what happened to them in “Found”. Xairn is scarred and though he is finally free of his father he is still plagued with his uncontrollable desires that he fears would cause Lauren harm. Xairn had a lot of depth as a character and even though he feared he was evil that was never the case. Xairn is an honorable man that I loved getting to know even though his preferences were a bit dark and dangerous. If you thought the twin kindred were kinky wait until you see Xairn in action. Lauren was a sweet and sometimes shy woman, but she had the heart of a warrior. She knew that Xairn and her belonged together, but had to prove to him that he was capable of love and that she could take whatever he dished out. I loved her as a character and I liked how strong she was when faced with difficult situations. She went through a lot, but never gave up. I also liked the meeting between her and her cousin’s very sweet and fun. This is a great Sci-Fi-romance series that I highly recommend. It is better to read the books in order though or else you would be lost. (Fan Girl Moment) I am overjoyed that the author has decided to write a couple more books in the series!! Though I really hope there may be more (:

I've really enjoyed this series, but recommend you don't read this one without reading the others first. Book 4 is my least favorite of the series, although I have enjoyed the set. Looking forward to the next one(s)!

This series has been one of my favorites and I eagarly await the next book in series. Every book so far in the series has been great. Loved them all. Keep writing this series Ms Anderson. You got to keep going with it until at least Olivia has the baby. But no need to stop there either!!!!!!

So refreshing having Xairn be the one resisting in their relationship. This is my favorite book in the series because the female actually knows what she wants, she just has to figure out how to get it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the other 3 books especially the way each new book continued the characters from the previous books. Unfortunately that is not the case with Book 4. After mentioning pregnancy, professy, and fainting there was nothing more and the story moved on to the characters for Book 5. This reader feels cheated!

Xairn being a Scrouge the Kindred ( Enemy ) is a great twist to the stories so far you learn he wasn't to be a good guy. Lauren and Xairn's story is great once again and I love that they all hook together. I recommend you read the first three before you read this book. On to number five and I love to see that I have so many more in the series and they are all completely different.

Like all the books before this one in the series, this novel focuses mainly on one relationship while introducing the next book’s couple and dabbling in the pairings that were previously established in the other tales. In Found, we are immersed in the difficult and seemingly insurmountable coupling of Lauren and Xarin. Unlike the previous three books, this tale begins with a whole new level of darkness. Yet, even in such a situation, the chemistry between the lovely Lauren and the lonely Xarin is palpable. Together the duo craft a dramatic path toward happily ever after, but danger lurks at every turn. As always I shall start by discussing the main female protagonist. Lauren is a determined, cupcake baker with a level of street-smarts that keep her from losing herself in the dark world of the Scourage. Now, while I didn’t find Lauren nearly as relatable as I did Kat, Sophia, & Olivia before her, I did enjoy her way of responding to the things that happened to her; it was very real. Xarin, the male protagonist, was in my opinion, a marvelous character. He was deep and dark, but sweet and well-intention in regards to Lauren. The additional aspect of BDSM to his desires was just another plus for me. Evangeline Anderson has a real talent for crafting males that truly touch the reader; they are realistic, but still have that element of fantasy to them. My favorite part of the novel was not Lauren or Xarin or even the plot, though all three of these things were positives. No, my favorite part was the inclusion of Little One. What can I say? I’m a true sucker for animals. All in all, I highly recommend this book, as I have the rest of this series, to anyone who enjoys science fiction romance novels. This one in particular I believe will appeal to fans of E.L. James’ “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

Lauren was a strong heroine and I enjoyed her openness to love the hero. Xairn was the best hero. He was tortured, loving, possessive, attentive and just awesome. I enjoyed books 1-3, but this one had less weak female with wishy washy and sometimes self-centered ways. Lauren was refreshing and welcome. More please.

I've read 4 of the kindred series so far, and they're honestly entertaining. Each novel has a focused sex practice (1: erotic massage, 2: biting and pain thresholds, 3: threesomes, so on, I would hate to spoil them all for you. This one is probably my least favorite, but still a great read. Evangeline Anderson has a way of writing sex scenes that make sense to the story. She throws in culture clashes, problems caused when things are lost in translation, and a great variety in female characters. Officially a fan.

It's so exciting to see Xairn develop into his own "person" who's found his match in Lauren. It can't be easy being the son of the All Father, but to see him do what he needs to find his own happiness was exceptional. I fall in love with each of these alien characters as I have this entire series.

I got really tired of hearing (no we can't... I will hurt you). I did like how strong the leading lady was. Brought the score up. Good ending.
