Free Me From My Cage
“Aubrianna Rose” captivates her readers with a thrilling edge, making it a challenge to set her book down. Her compelling story will unfold dramatically, bringing you to tears, laughter, and joy! She brings back to life the magic of living through the eyes of a child again. Her story will inspire and motivate men women and children to be the bright light which lives within us all.
Author Aubrianna Rose was a frightened, lopsided little girl—terrified of her father’s unpredictable rage and deeply wounded by a religion that placed impossible demands upon her.
And then, she met Steve—her savior. Steve would save her from her misery. After a few months, warning signs were fiercely demanding her attention. Had she been mentally and emotionally stable, she would have recognized her inner feminine voice. Sadly, they married.
She spoke to no one of her dark secret as it spread like black ink, seeping deeply into every crevice of her mind. She began questioning her sanity and excusing Steve’s cruel behavior.
The degrading side effect of verbal abuse is what it did to her fragile state of mind—a slow, manipulative form of brainwashing. Essentially, she was having her brain raped!
She was terrified and alone—until she discovered no one is really alone. We create our prisons, our cages. She shut the door on herself—no one did it for her. Then one day, something churned and shifted from deep within; she opened her prison door—her cage!
Praise for Free Me from My Cage
“Free Me from My Cage sparks internal questions for the reader on many levels. Some questions have religious overtones: How does a person’s religion dictate their life? Is there such a thing as spiritual abuse? Do parents have the right to inflict their belief system onto their children? The reader will also find questions which search through the web of marital exploitation: What is considered spousal abuse? How does someone free them self from a controlling relationship? All these questions and more will enter the reader’s mind while quickly turning the pages of this personal story of guilt, shame, and abuse. In this cliff-hanger, we can only wait to discover if freedom unfolds in Rose’s sequel.”

This book grips you from day one. It's multi-layered and multifaceted. The author brings you face to face with the dysfunction of unrealistic expectation, innocence and the abuse of power. You instantly are transported to another place and time that may feel familiar to anyone who felt vulnerable. You find yourself wanting to protect her and support her in this story of love gone wrong. A great read for anyone who has an interest in freedom combined with the courage and will to survive.
A remarkable story. I was surprised how quickly I finished my book. I was compelled by this young women's undeniable faith. My only complaint is: I want to know what happens and I'm not happy about waiting. Aubrianna is a refreshing new writer. I hope your sequels out soon! A 5 star for sure!!!
