All I have is one thing to say and remember it please. 'Nothing in this world is FREE!!'

I was fortunate to only borrow this from a friend and not have wasted my money. This book was a sheer waste. Contact your congressperson and check the web/library; you will find free information. This book is nothing more than a phone book.

The CD version of this 1997 copyright book has file dates in 1999 and even states inside that the information is 'out of date'. This might be an interesting book for the deep discount rack, in case you get lucky and find some government program still in operation. Many of the 'great finds' listed in the front are from government contracts already obtained by others, with little or no details other than the name of the company who won the bid and the 'exact amount of the bid'. While it is much easier to search the electronic version, within minutes I felt that I had been taken, since I could no longer return this old (and now opened) CD. Again, all the information is OVER SIX YEARS OLD, when a different president was in office.

I found this overpriced book to be COMPLETELY unhelpful. The title leads you to believe that you will find information about grants, etc. (free money). However, the majority of the resources given are addresses to government agencies, help centers, technical assistance information, help hotlines, etc. These are all things you could find on your own by conducting a web search. A complete waste of money!

I also purchased this book, I was very disatified with the information. It was very misleading. Many of the agencies that I contacted no longer existed or would not even talk to you. The most famous line I would hear is 'Where did you get this number from?' I advise anyone not to waste your money on this book. It needs alot of work and I do mean alot!

I was deeply disapponted with this book, the title makes it sound as though it is filled with information about grants. I also thought there would be instructions in helping one to apply and insure getting grants or loans. This is not the case, while it does have a very limited amount of info for grants the majority are for loans. There is absolutely no information on how to apply for the grants, etc., nor are there many available. I have found that the great majority of this information can be found on the web. Save your money, get this same information from the web and keep your money in YOUR pocket and out of Matthew Lesko's.

it is a great book for people who have no idea how to find this information, but doesn't hold your hand about how/when/where to apply. 37 dollars is a fine price for the time it saves you... it's up to you to take it from there.

I was very dissatfied with this book. The TV commerical make the book seem like a information highway but it more like a one way street. It just has general information that you can find on on the net. I would not buy the book again.

I have read 'FREE MONEY' but am very interested in what kind of helpful information it has offered to others. There are apparently some mixed reviews concerning this book. If anyone has successfully contacted a grant program, please contact me. I have yet to accomplish my goal.

I fell that this book was a let down with all the information that Matthew Lesko claims this book holds one would think it would be easy to apply for the grants. But all it does is list the name and address of the agency that has the grants. I was very disappointed that Matthew didn't go into detail on how to apply for the grants and list all the little tricks needed to get them. As a disabled father of four living off social security I found it very hard to understand what grants were open for me to apply for and which ones I would just be wasting me time on.

I was very disappointed with this book. The commercials give you the impression that this book is full useful knowledge but it turned out to be just the opposite for me. I was able to find more information on the internet than in this book. In contacting the different agencies I found that they were telling me that if I was able to locate any of the grant programs, to let them know. It was a very frustrating experience for me trying to locate these so called give away programs.
