During her quest to vindicate her beloved “Poppy”, Katie integrates her circle of friends, baseball players after her own heart. But will their tenacity and courage be sufficient against the infamous Judge Lynch? Can the children alone save their French friend, Louis Lefevre, from the murderous intentions of an enraged mob?
