French for l'Amour: The art of speaking the language of love
Julie, a linguistics student, is known for her impressive ability to speak multiple languages. With ten in her repertoire, including two that are no longer spoken, she is hailed as the top student in the Department. She is on track to receive her PhD in Ancient Languages and has her sights set on working at the Natural History Museum, a lifelong dream of hers.

But when the Department loses its funding for student services, Julie's future is put into question. In order to make ends meet, she starts offering private language lessons. And then one day, Dan, a curator at the museum, reaches out to her for French lessons. He's in a long-distance relationship with a woman named Cosette who lives in Paris.

As Julie teaches Dan the ins and outs of the French language, she can't help but be charmed by his desire to be more romantic for Cosette. But as they spend more time together, Julie starts to wonder if Dan is truly interested in winning over Cosette or if he's falling for her instead - drawn in by the poetic atmosphere of their lessons.

About the Author

Writing gives you the power to evolve. I didn’t yet understand that the more consciously I made decisions in my life, the stronger and more self-sufficient I would become. "I live and think outside the box, and energy flows where the mind goes. I write to gain a better understanding of myself, to find clarity about the past, and to help situate myself in the present and future, and to find the best moments in this world." As my dear Virginia Woolf would say: "It is a pity never to say what you feel."
