Overview

"I loved the plot ... had me laughing and smiling almost the entire way through. I highly recommend picking up this series ... It's fun, a perfect light read." (Bookishly Devoted)

Breanna Mitchell is on her way to a relaxing vacation at the ocean. Maybe she'll even have a beachside fling to help her get over a recent breakup. But when a tropical storm makes her destination hotel uninhabitable, a chance encounter at continental breakfast delivers a fabulous option-with a catch.

She and her friends can stay at a privately-owned, three-story oceanfront home-if she pretends to be the girlfriend of the owner's heartbreaker grandson, Ethan. Since he won't even be there, how hard could it be?

Everything is going swimmingly until Bree drinks too much wine and regales the family with romantic tales about her relationship with Ethan. His adorable brother Adam gets suspicious. His marriage-minded grandma gets engagement fever. The beautiful woman next door gets teary-eyed.

And then, Ethan unexpectedly arrives. Suddenly Bree is about to get everything she's ever wished for-but is it what she really wants?

I loved Over Easy, so I couldn't wait for the second book to come out. I was not disappointed. I couldn't help but laugh out loud through the whole thing. I really loved the main character, Bree. The book is a charming, easy read that I couldn't put down.

Think While You Were Sleeping minus the coma, plus a beach setting and you've got the bare bones of this book. I'm telling you, I laughed, I gasped, I didn't cry but I did get misty eyed, all while my heart was free to soar with Breanna's search for Mister Right. She and her friends certainly have down pat what they want, but sometimes the unplanned option, the someone you never saw coming is actually the one that's best for you. It was great seeing her catch her breath in the middle of the hubbub. It was wonderful to see her realize the truth among the lies before it was truly too late. It was HI-larious when she gave Grandma the "back up" present at her birthday celebration and everyone assumed it was something else entirely than what it was....Ha ha HA. Listening to her get a bit loose lipped after some fine wine and spilling the beans about her and Ethan's wonderfully romantic relationship, just added to the feels and allowed us to indulge our own "the one" fantasies. Bree's friends were a great pair as well, equally supportive and able to call her out on bad decisions, but the family Caruso really stole the slot for next favorite character with their closeness and desire to see each other happy...of course, the brothers being not so hard on the eyes and a soft touch to the heart, didn't do any harm either. They were just a great bunch and really made the story THAT much better. To conclude, if you like Romantic Comedies, this is definitely a book for you. The characters are likable, the story just plausible enough, and the ending, something to remember. I will say this, though I've not read the first in the series, I didn't feel as if I was missing out on anything...something that can't be said for every series.... **review copy received in exchange for my honest review, full post can be seen on my site**

I absolutely adored Fresh Brewed! I loved this book even more than the first book in the series. I had so much fun reading this one. I loved the setting , the characters, the cover, EVERYTHING! This story takes place in Summer in the middle of a tropical storm. With Summer coming to an end and Hurricane Hermine, the timing to read this was perfect! This book would make for a perfect beach read. Perfect chic lit. All the girls are back from the first book in the series. This time the story focuses on finding Breanna love. The girls are on vacation and makes for an ultimately fun read. This one was more of a romantic comedy, whereas the first book was more of a romantic mystery/adventure. I read this book very quickly. The chapters were the perfect length. Not too short, not too long. The story flowed very well and there was never a moment where I didn't know what was going on. It was such an enjoyable, fun, cute book to read. It put me in a good mood and made me smile the whole time I was reading it. Drinks, food, dancing, the beach...what else could you ask for? It may have been a wee bit predictable, but maybe that's just because I've read too much romance in my life. Everything that I predicted would happen in the story did. I am glad that it did though. I wouldn't have wanted the story to go any other way. If you enjoy cute, happy romance stories this one is for you. Kick back with a glass of wine, some snacks, and a comfy couch and you have yourself a perfect Friday night. I am really excited for book three. I am looking forward to seeing another one of the girls meet her man, and see what kind of twist the next story will have. This series has been a lot of fun to read. The second book was even better than the first, so I know I will not be disappointed with book three. * I reveived a copy of this book as part of a blog tour in return for an honest review.

Fresh Brewed is the second in The Continental Breakfast Club and finds our three friends going on vacation to the ocean for some relaxing time. This is also Bree’s idea fantasy of meeting “the one” in a vacation continental breakfast at a 5 star hotel resort. However, things do not turn out the way any of the friends think or planned as a pesky hurricane by the name of Drake has sidelined them in Atlanta, Georgia. Good news the next morning though, as Drake has gone out to sea with minimal damage to the coast. The very busy layover continental breakfast brings them to a chance meeting with Kristin Caruso who is also headed to the Outer Banks for a family vacation. Kristin also happens to have two single brothers. She and the three girls find they have much in common and hit it off. As circumstances collide, Kristen comes up with a zany idea that will not only help her brother Ethan in a sticky family situation but will also benefit the three friends. Bree agrees to be the pretend serious girlfriend of Ethan, who is not going to be at the family vacation so their grandmother, who has been quite put out with him, will be happy. Again relying on the lies that these four have concocted, Bree paints a picture of Ethan as a most romantic guy that has the whole family hearing wedding bells. However, Bree did not realize that she would feel such a strong connection to Adam, the younger brother. This story takes a ridiculous turn for the worse as Ethan surprises everyone and ends up showing up after all. This was another laugh out loud adventure with a touch of bittersweet as Bree realizes she has actually fallen in love with the whole family and now her reputation is at stake. This novel was reminiscent of the movie While You Were Sleeping starring Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman, which was fun to watch, hilarious, and bittersweet too. Again I liked the seeing the three best friends have each other’s backs and adding Kristin to the mix will make for interesting future reads. Content Warning: Like the first, this book is an adult read and has a sprinkling of bad language throughout; otherwise I would consider this one a fairly clean read. I received a copy for an honest review through iRead Book Tours and the opinions are my own.

Having thoroughly enjoyed Book 1, Over Easy, I was quick to grab this book too and read it soon after. I loved the unique storyline - quite as much fun as book one. Another loveable heroine too in Bree. I enjoyed how she got carried away detailing all the romantic gestures that Ethan supposedly made to her and how he was then forced to act upon them to keep up the charade. Warm relationships, great family ties, and interesting characters are what made Freshly Brewed, really fresh and a book I found hard to put down. Looking forward to another serving of Pamela Ford's Continental Breakfast! Disclosure : I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I had such fun with Allie, Bree, and Megan in the first book, Over Easy. It was Allie’s story we got there. Now the gal pals are back and it’s Bree’s turn to find the man of her dreams. Bree’s plans of a romantic seaside vacation go flying out the window, quite literally, when a tropical storm forces her to change her plans. And this is where she finds herself in a heck of a pickle. A word or warning here. It’s not just the hangover you have to be worried about after imbibing in too much of the grape. I swear, I snorted and giggled my way through the first book, and here I am doing it again. These girls may sound desperate for love. Who isn’t when you’re young and single. But they aren’t dumb, just do some dumb things. That’s where I actually laugh out loud. Fun is to be had as The Continental Breakfast Club strikes again. Expect for things to sideways as these gals get up to their shenanigans once more. A clean, humorous romance. Perfect for a summer read.

What a charming and refreshing story! Pamela Ford’s Fresh Brewed, is the second fun adventure of three girlfriends, Allie, Megan and Breanna of The Continental Breakfast Club series. I had so much fun reading this 2nd installment! This romantic comedy is fun to read, light, sweet and charming. It's perfect for the beach or on vacation! The Continental Breakfast Club series tells the story of three best friends who concocted a plan to help them find the men of their dreams. Their plan is to try and meet men at continental breakfast clubs where anything can happen! I really enjoyed Allie's story in Over Easy, and this time it's Breanna's turn to find her future husband. It all started when they are leaving for a vacation and her plan suddenly changes. All three girls meet a new friend named Kristin, who has two gorgeous brothers! In order to stay in a beautiful oceanfront house, she has to pretend to be the girlfriend of one of Kristin's brother, Ethan. Everything is working according to plan until Ethan really shows up unexpectedly! What will happen next? Watch next for Megan's turn to search for “the perfect husband”! ** Reviewed for Books and Benches **

This is the second book in a fun series. I have fallen in love with these characters as they are such fun to be around. It is like spending the day with your best friends when you are reading this story. This time we get to go on a trip with the friends to find love outside of where they live. But this does not seem like such a good idea when a tropical storm messes things up. But these girls are not to be stopped and continue on in their fun adventures. To only have been a fly on the wall to see the faces of Ethan's family the night Bree gets drunk and starts telling tales. The looks must have been priceless. The author did a good job with describing everything in this story so you can get a good picture of all the antics. Everyone wishes they had friends like this that can help each other find love. I am looking forward to the next book in this series and to see where they seek out love nest.
