I really liked this book. It was fast and I felt that the writer and I share a very close sense of humor.

I'll tell you what erotic novel refers to male parts as "it" one that's mistakenly labeled an erotic novel when it's contemporary romance and one that's trying to be funny. You can't use the same word for that over and over again. This books is laugh out loud funny and a great first book in an amazingly fresh and unique series.

Good story, lots of sex, than more sex!

This was surprisingly a very good read from a male author. Usually when I read these types of books they are written by woman.

Awesome book. Had about everything, the romance, the humor, the sexually crazed best friend. All In all a good book.

This book is so funny...one character is a romance novelist creating the opportunityfor these ridiculously overdone excerpts in true bodice ripper style. Great writing and I haven't laughed this hard in years.

This was a sexy read, and I loved that the author didn't take things too seriously. I was expecting something a little more raunchy and was pleasantly surprised to find a strong plot line with relate-able and 3 dimensional characters. The main characters really tried to do what was "right," not just take the easy way. I was surprised by many of their choices and by certain revelations and this served to strengthen the believability of the characters and of the story. I really enjoyed the writing style and will be sure to read more by Luke Young. I highly recommend this book!

Some of the dialog is a little course (not cussing just rough around the edges) but overall a great story

Very cute story. The sex wasn't raunchy. Sweet story of an older woman and a younger man. Never does there seems to be an age difference, it is just a number. an enjoyable read. Victoria is a HOOT in this story!

I enjoyed this first book into this series, but not as much as the prequel where Jillian and Victoria first meet. Of course in this book they are best friends, we get to introduced to Jillian's son, Rob and her new love interest, his best friend Brian. Thank goodness George is out of the picture... Unfortunately this story kind of dragged during some parts, could be because I'm not a tennis fan, therefore all of the tennis jargon, which went on for pages/chapters, was boring for me and I found myself skipping through most those scenes. Fortunately Victoria is still up to her old tricks which gives the book plenty of humor, though at times her behavior was quite frankly just too damn brazen...lol. Overall it was a nice introduction to this series... FYI: This book ends on a slight cliffhanger, bare in mind this series focuses on Jillian and Victoria so I think all of the books will always end where the next one will pick up...be prepared! SR

This book is basically about Jillian who is a very successful romance writer and recently divorced because she caught her husband cheating. She has been divorced for five years and has not had much luck in the dating field when Jillian's son, Rob, comes home from college for spring break and brings his best friend, Brian. Rob spends most of the holiday with his girlfriend so Brian and Jillian end up spending a lot of time together. They have a lot in common and are attracted to each other but don't want to act on it for many reasons. The main reason is that Jillian is Rob's mother but also because Brian is Rob's friend and he likes a girl from school named Natalie.  The character development is fantastic.  I feel like I really know them. The chemistry between Brian and Jillian is amazing and I found myself routing for them, wanting them to be together and hoping the age difference wouldn't be a problem for them. The writing style is very illustrative. Every aspect of this novel is fully developed in a manner that you can’t help but picture. The way the characters had so much fun when they were together made me envious.  I felt such a range of emotions that I was actually surprised. I laughed, cried and I was worried at times. I love this book and highly recommend it. There is just one thing left unanswered that I HAVE to know about so I ordered the rest of the series.

A little immature story line. Nothing wrong with the older woman younger man. But he was a little immature for his age, pining over a joung girl. Just not written well enough to make me want to read the series.

This book will keep you reading and wanting more, more, more. The characters in this book are all real names in my real life. Though I can't see the events in this book ever being true in real life, it certainly does keep one's interest and imagination going. Can one really o that long or as many times? Partial Benefits? interesting....

At first it was ok....then it switched to a different characters point of view...then again! That only works when you have a plot or some kind of meaning at the end of a book. I litterally had to force myself to keep reading before l finally gave up. Stick to one or two character point of views or else the read is sloppy and all over the place.
