From Out of Darkness We Have Light reflects the turbulence of the time. Bethlehem, Kansas is a town so caught up in the pageantry they miss their purpose, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow finds hope in despair and Annest dispels fear on a long ago Christmas morn. Stacy finally finds her home, grieving communities find solace in communion and Rudolph connects a child to her father. We are reminded death cannot sever the bonds of love and even the Great War cannot kill the Spirit of Christmas. Just as the Christ Child brought light into a darkened world, we remember the Hope that is Christmas.
