With an abundance of fabulous characters that are full of life and laughter, you will not be disappointed with Gemma and Edward's next adventure. I was absolutely enthralled with Doubting Abbey, the first installment of Gemma's story, and found From Paris with Love to be just as good!  At the opening of the story, she and Edward are off to Paris for a month so that she may learn the art of French cookery and he may write articles about the city's rich history. We learn that Gemma has yet to accept Edward's proposal, not for lack of love, but her fear of settling down at such a young age. As Gemma's life always takes an interesting turn, she is recruited by an MI6 agent to suss out a potential plot to harm the royal family. To make things more complicated, she is not able not include Edward in this knowledge along with her secret activities, which leads to damage to their fledgling relationship. He then turns to the company of the sophisticated French actress, Monique, who Gemma fears would be a much better match for her sophisticated man. As the plot wears on, misunderstandings abound and Gemma's doubts of the solidity of her relationship with Edward grow, culminating in her decision to end their relationship. She bravely soldiers on, nursing her broken heart, determined to improve her knowledge of French cookery AND save the royals. Her sleuthing skills lead her to Blade, a French heavy metal singer, whom she develops an instant chemistry with. Confused as ever, she does her best to bury her feelings and discovers a plot that no one expected involving none other than...Monique.   From Paris with Love is a hilarious adventure filled with excitement, intrigue and a highly enjoyable plot twist. The supporting cast of characters are dynamic, engaging and extremely lovable. I enjoyed every singled moment with them! The only difficulty that I experienced with From Paris with Love is that I finished reading it far too soon! I am crossing my fingers that we will get a front row seat to Gemma and Edward's nuptials in the future.
