I loved this emotional and moving story! Melanie Harlow balances the swoons, angst, and laughs so perfectly in this heartbreakingly beautiful second chance romance. Wes is now my favorite Harlow man! He was loving, compassionate, humble, adorably sweet, and just the right amount of alpha in the bedroom. My heart broke for him once his history with Hannah was revealed. I couldn't help but fall in love with him, as he showed time and time again what an incredible man he was. Yes, there were some mistakes along the way, but every decision he made was with the best of intentions, even if it cost him his own happiness. It was this sincerity that endeared him to me. His chemistry with Hannah was scorching and I could not get enough of these two! From the synopsis you know that this isn't going to be an easy journey for our characters. The stigma coupled with the guilt is overwhelming at times for Hannah and Wes. Add in an overbearing and jealous mother/mother-in-law (Lenore is so well done! You will love to hate her!) and an adorable but confused 5 year old, and it's a mine field of emotions. Can love overcome this tangled history and come out victorious in the end? One of my favorite things about reading Melanie's books are the little cameos from her previous characters. I loved getting a little update on Jack and Margot's life and it was the perfect little morsel for my Valentini loving heart! You definitely don't want to miss this touching love story!

Love Always Wins! For me, From This Moment is Melanie's most emotional book to date. The subject matter not something you encounter all that often. A widow whose late husband's identical twin brother has returned home after years abroad in Africa. A man who looks and sounds exactly like the man she thought she was going to spend the rest of her life with. How do you handle that? Can you handle that? For the past 18 months, Hannah has been barely surviving each day since the sudden and unexpected death of her husband. If it weren't for her five year old daughter, Abby, she probably wouldn't even make it out of bed each day. What is the point? The love of her life is gone, and in the blink of an eye, her entire world as she knew it is irreversibly changed. And now her brother in law Wes is back in town, and it is more than she can handle to look at him, listen to him, and not immediately think of late husband. But the more time Hannah spends with Wes, the easier it becomes to see him, and the less he reminds her of Drew, her late husband. At what point did he become just Wes, a man she loves to spend time with, looks forward to spending time with? A man she's finally getting to know fully without him being in the shadow of his brother. Is that wrong? She feels like it is, the guilt weighing on her. But then the guilt comes less and less, and the more Wes talks about how he's always felt about her, she begins to think that maybe she can open her sheltered heart to the possibility of something more than just a familial relationship. I absolutely loved getting into Wes' head. Especially when he recalled the past and how he had met Hannah first, the shyness he struggled with, and ultimately how he always put his brother ahead of himself. It tugged at my heart so much to learn all that he had given up and watching from the sidelines as his brother found love with the girl he knew all along was meant to be his. Ugh, no wonder he joined Doctors Without Borders and stayed away for so very long. Melanie just blew me away with the depth of emotion, the complex story of what many people would consider a taboo subject. A woman falling in love with her dead husband's identical twin? Oh the gossip!! The unnecessary drama caused by nosy people just looking for dirt to spread. Wes and Hannah already feel like they're walking a tightrope of emotions, knowing in their heart of hearts that what they're doing isn't wrong. But can love really be enough to overcome all the obstacles they face? Some of them coming from their own family? The supporting cast of characters felt like coming home for me, having read about many of them in Melanie's other books. It was wonderful to see Jack and Margot, and Daisy and Pete again. Little Abby just stole my heart, and another character made me want to wring their neck. Actually two characters, but you'll have to discover them for yourself. This book is filled with a lot of emotions. I ran the gamut of feeling sad, heartbroken, hopeful, happy and a slew of others that totally had me glued to this story to see how it would turn out. The hopeless romantic in me was rooting for love - because love always wins.

Hannah is a single mother trying to pick up the pieces of her broken life after losing her husband unexpectedly, and for the most part she is getting things back on track. She has provided a mostly stable environment for her daughter to grow and flourish in, she has a job that she enjoys, and a good group friends who support her and keep her sane. Things are almost taking on a normal look for them... but then her husbands twin brother returns home after a long stint in Africa and while she is excited to see him after all this time, she is also petrified that it will completely derail her new life. He is a walking, spitting image, of the man who claimed her heart, and a constant reminder of what she's lost... Wes knows he has been away far too long, but he needed time away to heal after losing his brother, but he is ready to stop running now, and face the family he left behind. He knows him coming around maybe rough for his loved ones, since he is a reminder of what they lost, but he also knows they need him too. Facing his brother's widow will be his hardest challenge, not only because he is a physical reminder of the man she lost, but also because of his deep seated feelings for her. At one time he thought she would be his, but he foolishly let her slip away, into her brothers arms, and it has haunted him everyday since... if only there was a chance for them now. From This Moment is a beautifully crafted tale of forgiveness, healing, and discovering love again after a heartbreaking loss. I have to say this one turned out to be quite the impressive first read for me, there wasn't a single time that my attention strayed... it had me completely engrossed from start to finish! The story line was rich with emotion, it stirred up my thoughts and made me feel, and had my heart feeling like it was in a vise more than a few times. I loved this story, it pushed boundaries, made me sit up and take notice, and was a fresh take on a single parent story, definitely one of the best first reads I have devoured this year!! Highly recommend you give this one a chance, it's a moving tale that you won't be able to put down!! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.

From this moment is all about second chances at life and love. Hannah lost the man she loved and has been grieving ever since. She feels abandoned and now a widowed single mother. But there’s one thing about her husband. He has a twin brother. You already get a feeling of where the story is heading. But it was really interesting to see their relationship evolve. Hannah is very frustrating at times, but I understood her feelings with Wes. But sometimes you just have to throw caution to the wind. I did enjoy this and feel that their love for each other was real. It was something that I wanted both the character to feel, and that is happiness. There is a lot more that goes on with this story. But I’d rather not give it all away. Because what fun would that be. Overall, I feel this was a great story and Harlow really was able to portray their relationship in a real, raw and emotional way. That can really stick with you. I give this Four Boundless Stars.

Wes and Drew were twin brothers who did everything together. Drew, the older brother by four minutes, was the boisterous, outgoing, flirtatious brother. While Wes was the shy, studious, somewhat nerdy "younger" brother. If Drew wanted something, Wes was always the one to step aside. Although Wes met Hannah first and thought she was "the one", he was too shy to ask her out. In walks Drew and he sweeps Hannah off her feet. Hannah really liked Wes and could never figure out why he didn't ask her out. Nevertheless, Wes steps aside and deems this his biggest regret. After Drew marries Hannah, Wes decides to enlist to help Doctors Without Borders. This way, he won't have to watch them be happy. While abroad, Drew suffers a fatal heart attack leaving Hannah and Abby behind. Several months after Drew's death, Wes returns home to take over the family medical practice. When he runs into Hannah, he realizes that she's still grieving as much as he is. While Hannah thinks it's panic inducing to see Wes, she also realizes they have something in common. Wes, Hannah, and Abby begin spending time together remembering Drew and working through their grief. But spending time together also has its drawbacks in a small town. Abby wants Wes to be her new "daddy", but everyone says it's wrong--including Wes' mom. Hannah and Wes start having feelings beyond being friends, but know there's a lot of obstacles to overcome and don't know if they have it in them to do it. I loved this story! It encompasses so many emotions, angst, and surprises. Melanie Harlow has you crying one minute and hopeful the next that everything will work out. This story deals with the loss of not only a spouse, but a dad, brother, and son. While it is sad and does require kleenex, it's also joyous. The struggle to move on after a loss is very real, but encouring in that one can survive and move on. I highly recommend this novel! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

An emotional page-turner! Melanie Harlow never fails with her heartfelt stories that hit her readers right in the feels. Powerful, moving, and exceptionally well written, From This Moment captures the true essence of lost love and the journey taken towards a new future. The struggles expressed were raw, and incredibly authentic. The heartbreak was tragic and devastating. But through it all was the genuine love that flowed in the story. Carving out a "new future" may not have been in the plans for the characters, and the hard decisions faced with what felt right but might appear wrong showcased true dedication and empowerment. From This Moment is the type of story you will get lost in for hours. Love, sacrifice, sorrow...this story bleeds emotions. It's an unquestionable must read, and one you won't be able to put down. 5 Stars!

Beautifully written and deeply emotional, in true Harlow style she has given readers another unforgettable, unputdownable book in From this Moment.  It's heartbreaking to watch Hannah coast through life without the love of her life—her husband who passed away unexpectedly. Hannah has her daughter and a job she loves but her heart is broken. Wes is her husband's twin... he has been gone for a while taking care of the sick in Africa but now he is back and seeing him—the identical twin to the man she once loved—is simply hard. But you see... he saw her first... he fell for her first but was scared to ever say it aloud and his twin who was more vivacious and outspoken than him got the girl. And now it's his turn... but is it right? I loved this story—the powerful emotions that Melanie is able to evoke in the reader—not only falling in love with love and watching Hannah's heart heal but then also struggling with the thoughts of whether something between them could be wrong because yes, I was a little nervous about how this whole situation would be handled—a wife losing her husband to then fall for his identical twin brother. It is perfectly fine to move forward but the doubts of whether she is seeing Wes for Wes or is it because she is trying to replace something she lost was so well done. The struggle with these scenes and watching them want to do what's right just made me cry!!! And let's not forget Hannah's beautiful daughter Abby and how she played into it all... I just adored her... she truly completed the story for me and was woven so well into the story. Harlow has proven again and again that she is a phenomenal writer and I just LOVE her captivating stories! From this Moment is 4 LOVE WINS STARS!!!

LOVE WINS EVERY TIME What a sweet, heartwarming second chance romance! This was a beautifully written, emotional story that I read in one sitting. You just feel for these characters ... Hannah and Wes will set your heart on fire.

Hannah is badly shaken when she's at the store as she first thinks she sees her deceased husband Drew. It is her husband's identical twin brother, Wes. Wes has now moved back to town after living in Africa for several years. Seeing Wes brings all her hurt, emotions to the surface again making her relive the loss of her husband. She is doing the best she can do to go on with her life for herself and for her daughter. Wes seems to know just how to handle the emotional steps that Hannah goes through. He knows when to be there for support and when to give her space to work it out on her own. I feel that Wes loved Hannah first and moved out of the country as it was hard for him to be near his brother's family watching his brother live the life he invisioned for himself. Wes is an amazing man. The strong, silent type always are the best. The more time Hannah spends with Wes the more she 'sees' Wes. She struggles with guilt of moving on and for having feelings for her husband's brother. She has to face the reality of a possible future with Wes with people judging her or let him go. This book really pulled at my heart strings. I could related on so many things in this book and feel that allowed me to really connect with the characters more. I, too, am an identical twin and struggled my whole life with people mixing my twin and I up and fighting for my own independence and life separate from her. This is a very heartwarming read.

I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars because it is hands down my favorite Melanie Harlow book yet

I'm going be honest here. A part me didn't want to read this. From the blurb, I just knew it was going to be an emotional one. I wasn't sure I was in the right mindset to have my heart ripped out. Also, I've read books were the widower falls for her late husband's brother. Never have I read one where the the brother is an identical twin. I didn't know how to feel about that. All that being said. I am so happy I read this book!! It's my favorite Melanie Harlow book to date. SO GOOD! I absolutely LOVED it!!! From This Moment is a beautiful, sweet, emotional and swoony story about moving forward after loss, decade long unrequited love, and finding happiness again. I enjoyed every second of it. Gah! This book gave me all the feels. Happiness, sadness, anger, love and hope - I felt them all!! I can't state how much I adore this book! Hannah and Wes have a great and electric connection. When they get together, *blows out breath* It's hot!! They know that they shouldn't be together. They didn't not want to dishonor her husband/his brother. Fear of what others think, a condescending mother-in-law, and a fear of the future kept them a part. But, the more time they spent together the more her affection for him grew and his already deep love for her just got deeper. It's so lovely. Wes Parks is a legitimate dream man. I absolutely adore him. He's so sweet and selfless. Can you imagine watching the woman you love fall in love and marry your brother?! All those years of a one sided love, ugh, my heart broke for him. Every time Hannah said she couldn't be with him. I wanted to scream, "I'll take him!" Love love love him. I highly recommend picking up From This Moment. It's Melanie Harlow's best to date. I did not want to stop reading this gorgeous book. I dare you not to fall for the very dreamy Wes Parks.

Melanie has done it again. She's brings us another amazing book and I would have to say her most emotional book for me to date. Wes and Hannah's story is something I wasn't prepared for. It touches on a subject that we don't see often, a widow falling for her late husband's brother. The relationship between Wes and Hannah was simply sweet. It's real and it had passion. I seriously lost count as to how many times I cried and how often I was laughing. You can't help but fall in love with these two and Hannah's daughter Abby. You see them grow together, you see the heartache they have to overcome and you see them fall in love. I loved their story because it was absolutely sweet. You can't help but cheer when Hannah gives in to what her heart feels and watching her be with Wes.

Gosh, this was such an emotional love story about a woman, Hannah Parks who is struggling with her feelings and life in general after the loss of her husband. She has lost her faith in all things good, except for her child. Life and love everlasting is now a thing of the past, buried right next to her husband. No one likes to see her hurting in this way, least of all her deceased husband’s twin brother, Andrew. Drew as he prefers to be called, has returned home after spending years, not just in another country but a whole other continent. Why? Because he was in love with his brother’s girl. Now, after coming home with the plan to help look after his brother’s widow and child, he and Hannah are fighting their feelings. They feel it’s forbidden to love each other the way they are starting to. It’s especially hard for Hannah to see her dead husband’s face around town knowing it’s not him, her struggle felt so real. Her grief and heartache were so close to the surface it was sometimes hard to read. There were a ton of tears shed in these moments. But she finally gets the chance to escape the despair and pain. Drew was there for her and helped however he could as he was struggling too, loving his brother’s wife. But he wasn’t going to give up the chance to be with the woman he’d loved from afar for so long. He stepped aside before, but not now. His determination to make not just Hannah, but his niece his own and to win their hearts was so sweet. Drew was such a sexy man, how could Hannah resist for long. Of course there was those who frowned on their connection but should they be influenced by that? Will they allow others to dictate how they should live their lives or will they through convention to the winds and just be happy as they are? One-Click this emotional thrilling story today and find out.

Melanie Harlow never fails to elicit the feels when it comes to her books, but I can't say I've ever cried during one as early as I did while reading From This Moment...3% in and the tears had a already started. Thankfully, though, that wasn't a true preview of what was to come! And while yes, there were more tears shed later, and Hannah and Wes, and all that they face, will definitely tug at your heartstrings, it's not a sob your heart out until your eyes are so puffy you can't see out of them the next day kind of book. It's a beautiful and heartfelt story that shows no matter what obstacles a couple encounters, love always wins. And Hannah, who finds herself falling in love with her dead husband's twin brother, and Wes, who is finally free to act upon feelings he's harbored for a decade but has always pushed them aside for the greater good, have more than their fair share of obstacles to over come. Wanting to be together, but afraid of the consequences, Hannah and Wes face heartache and discord, and the judgement of an overbearing and meddling mother. While Wes is all in and wants nothing more than to make a family with Hannah and Abby, Hannah is more reticent and unsure. She allows her head to get in the way of her heart, and that causes for some major push and pull with Wes. But the connection and pull between them is too strong, and it's one that Hannah realizes she can't deny. I really loved Wes and Hannah and Abby. Abby was such a bright spot in this story, I just adored her little self! I loved the second chance aspect of Hannah and Wes's story. I loved how Drew was never forgotten about, even as they moved on from the grief they were suffering. I loved the realness of these characters and how Ms. Harlow brought them to life. She showed that love is not always pretty or easy, it's messy and confusing, but it's always worth it in the end. From This Moment is a complex, romantic, and heartfelt story that will evoke a wide range of emotions...exactly what I expect from a Melanie Harlow book.

5 Stars! This was such a beautiful book! Everything about it, from the cover to the story to the characters, just made me fall totally and completely in love with it. And I had so many “feels” while reading it. Sweet, sad, angsty, happy and emotionally consuming, this read had it all! I enjoy complicated, thought provoking stories. And this one made me think, hard. And I loved that! Story/Characters... Hannah is struggling to put the pieces of her life back together after the unexpected death of her husband. Raising their five year old daughter is the only thing that held her together after Drew's death. Now, eighteen months later, his twin brother, Wes, has come back to town and she has to find a way to cope with seeing her dead husband's face walking around town, eating across from her at family dinners and visiting with her daughter/his niece. Drew Parks has come back to town after being away for years. He stayed away for many reasons, but one was definitely because he needed space from the happy marriage of his twin brother and the woman he loved. Now that he’s back in town, he’s determined to be there for his brothers wife and child, helping, supporting and protecting them, as he should have been doing since his brother's untimely death. ** Is it okay to love the forbidden? ** But when buried feelings resurface and sparks fly between Wes and Hannah, neither of them know what to do with that attraction or the complications it’s undoubtedly going to cause. Watching Hannah struggle with her grief, her pain and her loss was so heartbreaking. The author did a phenomenal job pulling me into all those emotions. I felt those feelings right alongside Hannah as she pulled herself from despair and heartache, to confusion and fear and then ultimately to love and acceptance. It was a thrilling ride and one I can’t wait to experience in rereads. Drew was the sweetest man ever! He understood Hannah’s loss because he lost Drew too. But he also understood that this was his chance to be with the woman who had captured his heart so long ago. He saw her first, but because he loved his brother so much, he stepped aside. He didn’t want to do that again and he was determined to have her, love her and care for her and her daughter, Abby. ** What if society says you can’t? ** Of course, there are those who say they shouldn’t and couldn’t be together, that they were betraying Drews memory by doing the forbidden. So can they truly have their happily ever after with all that in their path? Is love and potential heartbreak really worth the risk? That’s the questions these characters face and I very much enjoyed finding out their ending! This story wasn’t just sweet. It was also passionate! Drew was seeeeeexy! He and Hannah were perfect together and their chemistry was smokin’ hot! I got those lovely chest pangs and butterflies so many times while reading this book! The Wrap Up: From This Moment was wonderfully told with impressive and energetic writing, with a story that was powerful and moving. The characters were amazing, strong and likable. Wes and Hannah’s journey to the ending was painful at times but also beautiful and touching. This was my first book by this author, but I’m very much looking forward to picking up her other works, especially if they are anything like this one! ** Screw what society thinks. You have one life, live it and live it well. **

“All I could think was he wants me, he wants me, he wants me. Enough to walk here in the dark. Enough to ask for another chance. Enough to admit he’d made a mistake and couldn’t stop thinking about me. All my walls fell.” “I’ve always wanted you. From the moment I saw you, only I was too chicken sh** to do anything about it. I didn’t know what to say or how to say it. I just knew you were the most perfect girl I’d ever met, and I would have done anything to be with you.” “Tell me you feel nothing for me, Hannah, and I’ll go. Tell me you could never be happy with me. Tell me I could never be what you want.” Oh, man! When I first read the synopsis of this book, I just knew it was going to be a tough one. A story that was going to consume my every thought and burn its way into my soul. A story of complicated second chances and a romance that withstands a lifetime. From This Moment was all of that and so much more. From the moment I started reading this book, I was consumed. My heart ached for the loss that Hannah had experienced. I can not even begin to imagine the pain and heartache of losing your husband, only to have his twin brother to return to town. Seeing each other is unavoidable and in an effort to move on and get past her grief, Hannah agrees to let herself and her daughter spend some time with Wes. Only being around Wes stirred up feelings that Hannah long forgot about. Slowly, Wes was bringing Hannah back to life and before you know it, Wes and Hannah had developed a beautiful connection that just had to be explored… Now, I know that Hannah and Wes’ situation is pretty unique and is a bit taboo, but I promise if you give it a chance, you will see just how wonderfully this story actually works. I really enjoyed Hannah and Wes together. I thought they shared a really beautiful and honest connection with each other. You could tell that their feelings were real and genuine. I loved seeing their devotion and love for one another. Their journey to happily ever after was not an easy one. They had many obstacles standing in their way that they had to overcome and I couldn’t help but root for these two to find some happiness. From This Moment is a beautiful and unique second chance romance. It is incredibly well written and consuming. This story is totally easy to lose yourself in. The plot was intriguing and had me glued to the pages. I loved the characters and found them very easy to connect with. This book entertained me, played with my emotions and left me with a big smile on my face. I honestly couldn’t get enough. I thought this book was a terrific read and would definitely recommend checking it out.

Melanie Harlow is definitely one of my favorite authors. Every book she writes has me so drawn into the story and the characters. Wes and Hannah's story broke my heart, but I rooted for them every step of the way. The details of the story and the emotional turns the story takes are perfect. From the beginning we feel the anguish that Hannah is going through as she tries to move on from her husband's death and when coming face to face with his identical twin, it's hard to put the past in the past. When she feels something more for Wes than just missing Drew, she struggles with all of her life decisions. This story tugged at my heart. I loved Hannah's daughter Abby, too. Her situations really added to the story and what was going on around her. I loved that Jack from After We Fall was the one giving a lot of advice in this story. Great read!

Gah! Another beautiful, moving story by the talented Ms. Harlow! 18 months after her husband died, leaving her to pick up the pieces of her and her daughter's life, Hannah is finally at a point in her life that she can say she'll be ok. Then along comes her dead husband's twin brother, Wes. Talk about angst, these two are able to lean on each other like no one else, but what comes when it's no longer about grief, and more along the lines of a deeply passionate and intoxicating attraction? Wes and his brother were very close, but very different from the other, in all ways except looks. The grief that both Hannah and Wes feel brought tears to my eyes, and squeezed my heart so tight I felt I couldn't breathe at times. Can something magical happen out of something so horrific? I'll be the first to admit that I'm a sucker for single-parent stories, the laughter and innocence the child brings always puts a smile on my face. That being said, From This Moment is probably the best one I've read. I loved every single little thing about this book. From the tears, to the laughter, to the blush that was in my cheeks at times. It was heartbreaking, it was heart-warming, steamy, and simply sweet perfection.

From This Moment was a bit unrequited, a bit forbidden, second chance romance that was very sweet and naughty. I enjoyed it quite a lot despite my issues with the heroine. I understood why she acted the way she did but she still grated on my nerves a bit. The hero I adored I thought he was awesome. I recommend this book to lovers of romance because it's a wonderful story. ARC provided by author in exchange for a honest review

I absolutely loved this story! It was a second chance at love story that was so heartbreaking but also so heartwarming, sweet and sexy! Everyone is still heartbroken two years after Drew's sudden death. Hannah thought she had forever with her husband and father of her young daughter, Abby. Now his twin brother, Wes, is home from Africa and he is bringing all her pain back to the surface. But Wes is hurting as well. He misses his twin brother, but he loved Hannah first, and he will do whatever it takes to help her and Abby be whole again. Wes is so sweet, patient, and loving. He looks like Drew on the outside but he is the opposite in every other way and is exactly what Hannah wants and needs. Hannah is smart, and strong, and such a wonderful mom to adorable little Abby. The growth of their relationship was so honest and real. They had to make sure it was true and that no one would be hurt by their growing love. I loved the journey that this story took me on. It was poignant, heartbreaking, heartwarming, funny and passionate. This emotional and sexy second chance romance is a beautiful story that will make you really feel everything and is storytelling at it's absolute finest.
