Frommer's Brazil based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.
In the mid-1960s, Arthur Frommer's "Europe on $5 a Day" was my bible. As late as the early 1980s his guides were still useful. "Frommer's Brazil" is all but useless: 1. It's wordy while covering much less than other guides -- fewer hotels, fewer restaurants, fewer "attractions," less of the nightlife, and fewer regions and cities(and much less information about how to get from place to place). 2. It has few maps; those it does have are not helpful. 3. Even its brief phrase-book is inadequate, giving incorrect pronunciations of many words.
