About the Author
Christina Paulette Colón's great passions in life are nature and travel. She has been everywhere from Borneo where she studied a critter called the civet to Belize where she did her master’s thesis in a jaguar preserve. With a Ph.D. in ecology, an MA in environmental education, and a string of publications, she is an academic, an educator, and an author. When not exploring tropical rainforests, coral reefs, or sandy beaches, she can be found exploring the wilder side of New York City, which she calls home. In addition to scientific, educational, and academic works, she has contributed to and authored numerous travel guides, including Frommer's Portable Aruba, Bonaire & Curaçao and Frommer’s Caribbean.

Most Helpful Customer Reviews
This book is void of the information found in other Frommer books because Frommer apparently doesn't want to step on the toes of the cruise industry. For instance, there are no recommended web sites. It would be very nice to have information so that there would be some other vendors to use on shore excursions, for instance. Lots of information not available though it should be.
