The information was up to date and informative. It did a good job of communicating the flavor of NYC before we got there and helped a lot in preplanning the details. It did lack some information, for instance, if you don't want to wait 4 or more hours to get tickets for the Ferry to Liberty Island and Ellis Island, you need to order them ahead, and if you wish to go inside Lady Liberty, you need to order tickets at least a month in advance. Also, the Empire State building is a time consuming endeavor. Pre-buying tickets helps save hours as well. Overall the book is a great resource for helping to make a trip with kids enjoyable.

This book is fabulous. I bought an earlier publication, 8 years ago, when my niece and nephew were coming to visit and it was a great success for a fun filled week. Obviously in these economic times things may change more quickly but still a great reference for fun!
