A very well written book that goes back to the Cival War times. It gives the history of a family known as the 'Loomis Gang' how George Loomis came to central New York state in the 1700's raised a family and how the family grew into notorious outlaws. How they operated during the 1800's and how they were finaly conquered in the 1860's It is a very interesting book, well worth reading if you like local history.
