Sigh. I get totally carried away when I step into Connor, Rose, Jane, Lily, Lo, Moffy, Ryke and Daisy's world. This family has endured so much drama yet they are resilient and the bond they share as a group continues to grow. Once again we get to experience the journey from Connor and Rose's point of view as they cope with being new parents in a world where the paparazzi never rests. Scott, creeping producer man, returns and adds to the chaos. Of course, the biggest threat to their happiness comes from inside, another parental unit lets them down. AUGH! Yet, this family strengthens as they fight the outside forces trying to destroy their happiness. I'm continually blown away with this series and the one thing that always stays with me is how fiercely they all LOVE, this drives them all.

5+++ "Toujours" "Nerd stars" #RCCthisislove" stars!!!! This is seriously the BEST series i've ever read! I love everything about this entire series. The books just keep getting better and better. I thought they couldn't get better than AAA, but then i finished Fuel the Fire and i was proving wrong in the best possible way. I loved getting a deeper side of Connor and Rose. They have so many layers to these two and its all amazing. I love how they show their love. I swear this book made me love Connor ten million times more. The way he started to show empathy and the way we saw how much he loved everyone was great. And when he got so scared about the "news" coming out and when Rose cried in the closet... i swear i ugly cried right with her. SO much happened that i can't even summarize it in a review without it being the length of a book lol I also loved how close Ryke and Connor got! I'm so glad they came to an understanding and became good friends. And I love how Ryke is with Daisy. I really hope they get their happy ending. They have been/are going through so much. I definitely cried at the end when she got the news. I can't wait for their book. And of course i LOVE all LiLo moments! They are my favorite but Connor and Rose really come in a close second if not tied. I love that Lily let the world see Rose and Connors love! #RCCthisislove was so sweet. And the press conference made me love Connor even more. He going to "let the world adapt to him" <3 I'm so glad everything worked out. I love them and everyone in this series. I'm going to literally cry when this series ends! I know I'm rambling so i'll stop but this book was just so amazing. I honestly hoped this book would ever end. I can't wait until Raisy book! Also, i hope we get a novella about Garrison and Willow :

I don't even know what to say about Fuel the Fire. Seriously. Two days after finishing, I still feel somewhat fragile emotionally and I'm so sad to say goodbye to Connor and Rose's story arc. There's not a whole lot I can tell you without running the risk of spoiling an amazing storyline for you, but I'll do what I can.  As you know, Fuel the Fire is the second and final part of Connor and Rose's story arc. (Of course they'll show up in Long Way Down, but we won't get any more books from their POVs. *sob*) I won't tell you all the things that went on for the couple during this book, but I will tell you I love and respect them even more now that I did when I started. They dealt with some hardcore issues and I had no idea how things would turn out for them. I was absolutely on the edge of my seat as one thing after another came their way. Fuel the Fire was an intense read. I wasn't sure I would make it to the end in one piece because it felt like with every new issue, a small part of my heart shattered. So yes, it was angsty. It was emotional. Parts of it hurt to read. I was pretty sure Krista & Becca wouldn't hang us readers out to dry and I was right... but there were definitely some moments I began to wonder how on earth everything could come back together again. This book had the sensual sexy times I've come to expect from Rose and Connor and all the friendship and family love that make this series stand out among all the others. There's just something about this group of characters. I don't think I've connected so deeply with a series since Harry Potter. Each one of these characters brings something unique and amazing to the group, but the way they fit together is what makes it so special. They would go to the ends of the Earth to support each other. I love that. If you're a fan of the series, you'll undoubtedly want to read this book. If you love character-driven novels and you're NOT reading this series, you should get on that. The first book is the toughest to get through – not because it's not good, but because it's real and raw and deals with addictions in a frank way I feel most books don't. But, my gods, once you get into the series, it gets under your skin. The characters wiggle their way into your heart. I know they have mine. I can't believe there's only one book left in the series. I want the conclusion of Ryke and Daisy's story, but I'm not sure how I'll say goodbye to these characters. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Fuel the Fire is listed as the third book in the Calloway Sisters series (and it is), but it is also the eighth book in the Addicted series. While it is technically possible to read only the Calloway Sisters series, I highly recommend that you read the entire Addicted series. All of the books are absolutely amazing! Here is the recommended reading order (my reviews can be found on my blog) for the Addicted series. - Addicted to You , book 1 - Ricochet , book 1.5 - Addicted for Now , book 2 - Kiss the Sky , Calloway Sisters spinoff book 1 - Hothouse Flower , Calloway Sisters spinoff book 2 - Thrive , book 2.5 - Addicted After All , book 3 - Fuel the Fire , Calloway Sisters spinoff book 3 - Long Way Down, Calloway Sisters spinoff book 4 (coming soon) Krista & Becca wrote on Facebook that they think Fuel the Fire is their best to date. I, without a doubt, agree (although Addicted After All comes extremely close in my opinion). This book is ~460 pages of absolutely amazing nerd star awesomeness. Krista & Becca have exceeded any expectations I could have possibly had. Each book is better than the last. These girls know how to write! Every time I read one of the Addicted books, I try to think about which couple is my favorite. Which couple do I ship more than the others? Which couple is my OTP? And I can never answer myself. I love them all. These characters are so realistic, so relatable, that you just can't help but love them all. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. Seeing the characters grow and evolve as time moves on is fantastic. They are all people that I've grown to love and there's no way I could pick just one couple to love more than the others. The end of the series is drawing near with only one more book to go. I know that I'll love it just as much as I've loved the others, but it'll be sad to let these amazing characters go. I know that a series with nine books might seem a little daunting to some, but I promise that it's worth it! If you love New Adult, if you love Romance, please give this series a chance (the first book is even free on Amazon right now)! I truly believe you'll fall in love with this series just as much as I have. You can read all of my reviews on my blog, KDH Reviews.

*does not contain any spoilers, but discusses the importance of the novel and a few characteristic aspects* Fuel the Fire is a brilliant, important book and not only for the fact that Connor and Rose’s characters are explored in more depth or that it’s darker, a thousand times more emotional than Kiss the Sky (which was already really emotional for me regardless of its humorous tone). It’s for the fact that this book is so much more important than just these two characters that I have come to love and adore more than anything in any literary work to date.  “Tu m’entendras toujours, où que je sois.” Beneath all the jokes, banter and comical situations, Fuel the Fire is, in its core, an issue book circling around the topic of who you are in the world and in the eyes of the society; fitting into these absurd norms of the society in terms of sexuality, appearance, personality, intelligence and so much more; putting labels onto things that cannot and shouldn’t always be labeled. It also deals with depression in the most sincere ways that make you want to scream at the world, kick your fists at doors of sadness in order to see them crumble and finally see a character get through a day without feeling anything less than happy and free of this dark hole eating their insides day by day. All of the books in this series also cover feminism, sexism and misogyny and, Fuel the Fire, as its predecessors, is just as moving and inspirational as you’d hope and expect for it to be. I’m not going to speak about the plot, because that is something everyone should experience themselves, but I want to applaud the twins for giving Rose and Connor more depth and layers than they already had. I’m not going to speak about the plot, because that is something everyone should experience themselves, but I want to applaud the twins for giving Rose and Connor more depth and layers than they already had. I thought I knew them very well, and I most definitely held them dear to the deepest parts of my soul, but it was nothing compared to how I feel about them now. They're absolutely remarkable! Thinking about this guy who thought he couldn't care about any other person but himself, but has been proven wrong time and time again, and a girl who's rough around the edges and often has a cold, tough exterior which hides one of the biggest, kindest hearts—that's something I can't ever stop getting emotional about. I'm so incredibly proud of how far they've come. This book was effortlessly exquisite, as are the two narrators in their very nature, and the enjoyment of it all didn’t necessarily depend on the plot, which was equally entertaining and captivating, but how all of its six main characters dealt with the hardships thrown in their way and their continuous support and admiration towards one another during difficult times.  A few more notes: *Fuel the Fire is hot, hot, hottttt and most of these hot scenes are packed with an emotional punch right in the feels *The shipping game is on point as always *It also held a lot of fun, cute scenes as always and the group scenes are bound to make you smile time and time again *ALL the bromances gain even more depth (which I thought was impossible) *The relationship between the Calloway sisters is one of the most amazing sibling relationships I have ever read about; these sisters are the true meaning of family and how empowering it is to know that you have someone in your corner always fighting for you and your dreams, cheering you on regardless of the circumstances and odds against you—without a doubt, the sisterhood in these books is my favorite thing above all! Writing reviews is always hard on its own for me, but writing a review for a sequel to a book you thought was going to be your absolute favorite for the rest of your life? I tried my hardest, but I know that I only covered about 3% of the beauty and importance of this story. I’m at a loss of words and the empty tissue boxes all around remind me of the emotions I felt while reading this gorgeous, witty and extraordinary novel filled with passion, strength and inspiring words. Thank you, Krista and Becca, for an unforgettable journey! Overall rating: 5.0 out of 5.0 More of my reviews can be found on my blog @ Little Pieces of Imagination
