Overview

Fueled (Driven Series #2) by K. Bromberg

What happens when the one person you never expected suddenly happens to be the one you'll fight the hardest to keep?

Colton stole my heart. He wasn't supposed to, and I sure as hell didn't want him to, but he crashed into my life, ignited feelings within me that I thought had died forever, and fueled a passion that I never knew could exist.

Rylee fell out of that damn storage closet and into my life. Now I don't think I'll ever be the same. She's seen glimpses of the darkness within me, and yet she's still here. Still fighting for me. She is without a doubt the saint, and I am most definitely the sinner.

How is it the one thing neither of us wanted--neither of us anticipated that fateful night--has us fighting so hard to keep?

He steals my breath, stops my heart, and brings me back to life again all in a split second of time. But how can I love a man who won't let me in? Who continually pushes me away to prevent me from seeing the damaged secrets in his past? My heart has fallen, but patience and forgiveness can only go so far.

How can I desire a woman who unnerves me, defies me, and forces me to see that in the deep, black abyss of my soul there's someone worthy of her love? A place and person I swore I'd never be again. Her selfless heart and sexy body deserve so much more than I'll ever be capable of giving her. I know I can't be what she needs, so why can't I just let her go?

We are driven by need and fueled with desire, but is that enough for us to crash into love?

About the Author

K. Bromberg is that reserved woman sitting in the corner that has you all fooled about the wild child inside of her—the one she lets out every time her fingertips touch the computer keyboard. She’s a wife, mom, child rustler, toy pick-er-upper, chauffer, resident web-slinger, LaLaloopsy watching, American Girl doll dressing multi-tasker of all things domestic and otherwise. She likes her diet cokes with rum, her music loud, and her pantry stocked with a cache of chocolate.

K. lives in Southern California with her husband and three children. When she needs a break from the daily chaos of her life, you can most likely find her on the treadmill or with Kindle in hand, devouring the pages of a good, saucy book.

Crashed is K. Bromberg’s third published novel and is the highly anticipated final book of “The Driven Trilogy.” Driven and Fueled were her well-received debuts novels and Books #1 and #2 of the series.

Like this book's predecessor, it really uses emotion to pull you in. The characters are true and solid. It's also very sexy. You'll want to keep reading.

Writing this review AFTER I have read all three books. Let me just say that I absolutely loved the series. Colton's tortured past and Rylee continuing to not give up on him is just great. Loved it!

***HOLY CLIFFHANGERS, BATMAN!!!!*** Fueled, the second book in the Driven Trilogy, is a white-knuckled, heart pounding, soul shattering ride!! The book picks up where we left off with Rylee and Colton's tumultuous romance. We are given much more insight into Colton's motivations and Rylee's past, which adds wonderful depth to the already compelling characters. As Colton would say, Fueled takes us to places we "never imagined". The supporting characters are well developed and make this series so much more than a typical billionaire love story. Driven, book one in this trilogy, was the best book I had read in ages.. until I read Fueled. After the most chilling cliffhanger I have EVER read.. I can only imagine how phenomenal Crashed will be. I anxiously await it's release and my return to Rylee and Colton's world.

Colton relly ticks me off, and Rylee just needs to say what's on her mind. Cliffhanger ending.

This is the 2nd book in the Driven Trilogy. It picks up right were Driven left off. I liked book one and absolutely loved book 2! Fueled gave us more insights into Colton's past. It helps to understand some of his issues with the idea of being loved. Rylee is falling hard and fast for this playboy and knows that she wants more from Colton. These 2 make you laugh and maybe cry a little as well as want to punch them both for the things they do to each other. These are such great characters that you can't help fall in love with them. You want them to find their happily ever after so badly. I finished Fueled and jumped right into book 3. Fueled does leave us with another cliff hanger so be prepared. I recommend this book!

Second book is as great as the first cliff hanger end has you scrambling for the next book to find out what happens next.

I am having a hard time finishing this right now because all Rylee does is whine. She believes everything Tawny says and won't even let Colton say anything. She needs to get over herself, soon.

Super series!! Heavy duty on the emotions.. Although I read all of the books I needed a break sometimes because the emotional level became too "real"... Beautifully written by the author, these books take a long time to get to the end and while I loved the journey I cried a million tears along the way... Not my usual story lines but I am so glad I read them all and I will think of the messages for the rest of my life...

4.5 star Before reading this story please read the below books first Driven (Driven, #1) This is more of Rylee and Colton’s story. Rylee and Colton are so great together but sometimes that is just not enough. With crazy ex Tawny trying anything she could to get Colton I wanted to smack her so hard. I am glad that didn’t work out for her. She really should have gotten a smack down for that! But once again just when you think everything is coming together BAM the author smacks you with cliffy!! I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I recommend this book.

This book was too much like "50 Shades of Grey" and the "Crossfire" series. So not original. Also, i did not like Riley, she was always crying or running away. She acted more like a teenager than a grown up. I mean how many times did "her eyes welled up in tears" ? It got old.

The emotional rollercoaster ride continues. Get ready to laugh hard, cry harder, & just want to strangle Colton F*uckin Donavan. Again, you will not sleep until you finish this book, & then desperately clutch your heart until you conclude their love story in Crashed. K Bromberg is an awesome author & this is my #1 favorite series!
