"She had traveled around the world to find a home, and it took a full circling of the globe to realize that she always had one."

Traveling from the quintessential Parisian cafe to a tango club in Buenos Aires where tourists are typically persona non grata, through the maddening situation of feeling "lost in everything" on the streets of
Seoul, the stories in this collection all touch on one trait that many of us share when we travel - self-discovery. No matter the country, culture,
or language, self-discovery is what all of the characters in these stories experience, but more importantly, they develop realizations about themselves they never would have were it not for travel.

About the Author

It all started one summer with a high school exchange program in the colonial city of Querétaro, Mexico. After that unforgettable experience, Julie was hooked on travel. Being a Spanish major in college allowed her to study abroad in places like Costa Rica and Spain, although her Spanish didn't help her out any on the streets of Seoul. She's been to more than 15 countries on five continents and her one wish in life is to always be able to travel. When she's not traveling or working her day job, she writes The Red Headed Traveler, where she blogs about everything from travel (the good and bad), all things Pittsburgh (her home base), and food. Did she mention she's an awesome cook?
