Ray wraps his arms around me and holds me tight as if something terrible has happened and he doesn't want to let me go.

Full Contact. This is how Ray speaks when his emotions overwhelm him. I melt into his stillness. His body is hot and hard, his breath warm on my neck. He smells of leather and sweat, sex and sin. Nothing can tear me away.

When you can't resist the one person who could destroy you...
Sia O'Donnell can't help but push the limits. She secretly attends every underground MMA fight featuring The Predator, the undisputed champion. When he stalks his prey in the ring, Sia is mesmerized. He is dominant and dangerous and every instinct tells her to run.

Every beautiful thing Ray "The Predator" touches he knows he'll eventually destroy. Soft, sweet and innocent, Sia is the light to Ray's darkness-and completely irresistible. From the moment he lays eyes on her, he knows he's going to have to put his dark past behind him to win her body and soul.

Energetic and impassioned: 3.75 stars--FULL CONTACT is the third installment in Sarah Castille’s adult, contemporary Redemption MMA romance storyline focusing on the MMA fighters at the Redemption Gym and Training Center. This is tattoo artist (and Fuzz’s sister) Sia O’Donnell, and underground MMA fighter and private investigator Ray ‘The Predator’ Black’s storyline. Full Contact can be read as a standalone, much easier than book 2 -In Your Corner- but I recommend reading the series in order for background, history, character and series development. Ray ‘The Predator’ is a private investigator and former soldier whom we met in book two when he came to work for lawyer Amanda Westwood (In Your Corner). We knew very little about the quiet and seemingly shy man, but his character shines through as he builds a presence on the MMA fight scene. Ray’s backstory finds our hero with a heartbreaking past that sets the tone for the current direction of his life. His attraction to Sia O’Donnell comes at a time when neither one is looking for a permanent relationship-at least that is what Sia claims in the beginning. Sia is an artist, who because of a horrific and dark incident years before, has given up the paints and brushes, for ink and a tattoo machine. As Tag’s (aka Fuzzy) younger sister, Sia finds herself surrounded by the over protective MMA fighters; she is also their tattoo artist when ink needs to be done. An opportunity will present itself when Redemption offers Sia a tattoo shop of her own but Ray makes the mistake of looking into Sia’s past and taking matters into his own hands. The relationship between Sia and Ray builds throughout the storyline but our couple must contend with Sia’s alpha and overprotective brother who blames himself for the incident years before. As with all of the MMA fighters who have found the woman he loves, Ray begins to mark his territory ensuring everyone knows that Sia is taken much to the anger and disappointment of Sia’s brother. Ray is a dominant, alpha male who at times falls into ‘Tarzan mode’ through speech and actions. The $ex scenes are seductive and provocative, and like the previous storylines, there are some mild bondage and discipline scenes. The push and pull of the attraction, want and need is continuous throughout the entire story-Ray has a difficult time with commitment or letting go. The ensemble cast of colorful and engaging characters continues to drive a good portion of the storyline including the MMA fighters- Shayla aka Shilla the Killa, Blade Saw, Renegade, Rampage, Torment, Homicide Hank, Fuzzy and Doctor Death (all of the nick names must be used in the arena and at the gym). Some of the names border closely on a best selling vampire series. Drake aka Dr. Death remains stoic in his attempts to convince the heroines that their men are not worthy of their love and affection much to the consternation of the other fighters. We are introduced to Sia’s coworkers at Rabid Ink-Slim, Rose, Christos, and Duncan as well as Sia’s best friend Jess whose heart beats for the attention of Tag O’Donnell. . Once again, plenty of drama and angst as it pertains to Sia and Ray’s backstories. FULL CONTACT is an energetic, impassioned and intense storyline. Ray is a man who buries his heartbreak with pain; and Sia is the heroine who intensifies Ray’s need, at every opportunity. Sarah Castille has brought together a family of fighter’s, who at the end of the day, support and nurture one another-sometimes family is not the blood in your veins, but the people who pull you back up every time you fall down.

Awesome story. Fantastic characters. Ultra hot sex. Drama and passion. Loved this. Devoured it! Sia and Ray... holy wow these two! Demons from their past? Check! Passion, tension, drama. Check! This had it all. I loved the build throughout and as all of Ray’s details were learned. I loved him opening up and these amazing moments of vulnerability. I mean, this guy is so alpha and commanding it's crazy and super hot but those sweet moments, I was a goner. Sia. I liked her but she has things that were holding her back and every time I saw a piece of her past fall into place and chip away, I liked her more and more. She turned into this amazing, strong and confident woman and by the end, I loved her. The build to these two getting together was crazy insane. There was a lot of push and pull happening but they had this incredible passion and it made for a really great story. I found it all very entertaining and it pretty much consumed me. And their chemistry, oh my, let's talk about the sex... I mean, wow. WOW. Epically hot. Passionate. Intense. Their connection was just off the charts. I love the other characters in the story as well. I really this family the fighters have formed with so many personalities. I totally enjoyed a secondary story woven in with her brother and best friend, it was subtle and sweet. I absolutely enjoyed this story. It had such a high entertainment factor to me. It has some drama, a bit of suspense, an intense love story, and hot MMA fighters. Great writing. Loved that build to the end... I was filled with so much anticipation throughout. I really liked the first two in the series, but this one, this one totally did it for me. If you need to get your MMA sexy fighter on with some drama, hotness, and redemption mixed in, then this is the read for you. Complimentary copy received for honest review.

I really love this series and hope the next book is nearly ready. When too much times elapses between books, I forget to even go back and buy the next installment. So many more stories to read about in this series. My biggest problem with this entire series is how often the main characters go back and forth in being together and then not. Some of that is fine but it didn't stop me from reading all three books and waiting impatiently for the next book. A little suspense in each book but it doesn't take over the books. Great sex in all of them. Hopefully the next one is coming soon.

The story of Sia and Ray (fight name:Predator). Sia has been following Ray's career in the illegal underground MMA fights for a year.  Her dreams come true when he asks her to tattoo him.  But Sia has a secret in her past that does not allow for giving up control. Ray has secrets too - ones that make him demand control.  Can the two work together in order to have a lasting relationship, or will their secrets tear them apart? I completely LOVED this story! Both the main characters were complicated, and even at the end, I wasn't sure how things would end up. The secondary characters, like Sia's brother Tag, and her best friend Jess, were also outstanding. I do hope for a follow-up book for them! The other characters, such as the fighters at Redemption, and the Tattoo workers were also great.  After the sex was worked into the equation, it continued to be one of the main focuses of the story. So know that it gets heavy into erotica territory, with a BDSM light edge to it.  The love scenes were hot and heavy, and went on for pages and pages!  HOT! For all these reasons, I give the book a solid 5 Star rating! Romance Readers received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Sia O’Donnell is a talented artist who walked away from her passion because of a past experience and chose to express herself as a tattoo artist. She finds inspiration for her tattoo art in the underground MMA circuit and enjoys watching the fighters, but is particularly interested in one – Ray “The Predator” Black. In fact, Sia has been drooling over him for quite some time but her past has left her with PTSD and a need for control and she knows that Ray will be more than she can handle but she can’t resist watching him. Ray Black is a man burdened by the guilt of not being there for his loved ones and has chosen to avoid emotional entanglements to avoid hurt. The no-holds-barred, no rules underground fights he takes part in are his outlet for all the seething emotions in him. Until the day he sees Sia and he sees a chance at a real life, away from the shadows he lives in and Sia is the shining beacon to that life. Unfortunately, his job and the secretive world he operates in make it difficult for him to walk away. FULL CONTACT is exactly what I have come to expect from Sarah Castille – gritty, rough and sexy as hell, with lots of steam, a volatile romance and some suspense thrown in. What’s not to love about an edgy, hot, muscled and tattooed man? Especially one of the dominant and caveman-esque variety. Ray needs to be in control and Sia has a craving to be dominated, a craving Ray recognizes and feeds, even as he helps her work through her fears. And, boy, the sexual heat between Sia and Ray was enough to fog over the screen of my Kindle! However, it’s not just about the sex, hot as it is, with Sia and Ray. They both have to decide if they will let the past hold them down. Sia goes through some amazing growth, gaining confidence and taking back her life bit by bit but Ray takes a bit longer to get there and his secrets put Sia in danger. The push-pull and back and forth in their relationship gave me a bit of whiplash, though. In the end, I was left feeling like Sia and Ray were two halves of a whole that fit together perfectly. My favorite quote: He is the missing part of me. Hard to my soft. Dark to my light. Rough to my smooth. Heart of my heart. *I received this book for free from the Publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.*

Full Contact is the third in the series. Now I have had the opportunity to read a book from Sarah, but it is from her other series she is currently working on as well her Biker MC one, and boy was that a great story. And so when I heard high ratings on this story, and it is a new release just came out a few days ago, I just had to pick it up. This is a first for me reading a MMA romance. I think I am addicted now….and I can’t wait to delve into the series more. I believe it can be read as a stand alone, but I catch on quickly, but I never felt lost or disoriented in reading it, despite it being the third installment. Although after reading Full Contact I definitely have to read the previous two books because WOW…I just can’t wait. Especially since we see the other two couples take a part in this story which was delightful. I love it when in a series, you see connections and interactions and it isn’t separate from the other books. I have a feeling I will have a bunch of fun with those books as well. *crossing fingers* So what I adored most about Full Contact was the way it developed from beginning to end. in the first part of the story, we see a sexual spark between Sia and Ray. And even from the first page, I knew it was going to be HOt. And boy was it ever! Way hotter than I expected, but it also was a story with plenty of substance and depth that I didn’t expect, just from the way it began. We do have a bit of a mystery with Ray, especially in the first half of the book, you have no clue what he really does for a living, but there is an aura of mystery and intrigue surrounding his character. Sia is a matter of fact character, she is bold and daring, and fights her own battles. She has many vulnerabilities too, and tries to hide that from everyone. She is humiliated and ashamed at times, and we see how Ray brings all of her out, both the good and the bad and brings a balance to her she never had before. Even though their relationship starts out very sexual and HOt…it definitely has plenty of in-depth focus, and you see how right they are for each other. You see how good they equal each other out, and we also see a development of a future book for Sia’s brother (I do hope his book is the next, because whew his is going to be a good one). We also see plenty of interaction from other members of the club, and you see the close bonds they have to each other. It’s a true brotherhood, a family of sorts, and it was quite fun becoming a part of that as your read this. The author is very talented at drawing you in and not letting go. It has some BDSM elements, but I found it to be very light, not super strong, but plenty of great steamy and rough sex …that goes with Sarah Castille’s style, but I loved every moment. You see how even in those steamier parts of the story, that they are bonding together and you feel it on the page. The Cover  I actually quite like this cover, in the story I view him as a bit more bulkier in muscle. But I love the tattoo art on his shoulder, and that confident expression on his face…definitely matches the character in the story extremely well. I do love the color theme here too, with the golden hues at the top and the darker ones at the bottom. Overall View  Full Contact is an intense romance that plenty of deep characters, thrilling action, and a rich voice that leaves you breathless. A tale that is completely and utterly ENTICING!! You are bound to be yearning for more!

Full Contact was my second book by Sarah Castille, and chances are excellent it won't be my last. The story drew me in, and although both main characters did some things that drove me a little batty, it kept me reading. Both Sia and Ray had some major baggage and serious issues to work through--she'd never really gotten over an earlier sexual assault, and he felt as if he'd allowed the people who'd gotten close to him to die. They spent much of the novel (between frequent and a moderately repetitive sex scenes) pushing each other away just as much as they pulled each other in. Sometimes it got a bit difficult to remember from one scene to the next if they were together or not, they went back and forth so frequently. There is an HEA, but it happens pretty quickly given the pacing of the rest of the story. When they finally made the choice to be together, it didn't really seem like enough had changed in order to make their decision totally believable--but the ending itself was adorable and made up for a lot of what came before it. Though overall the story didn't quite work for me--Sia's tendency toward melodramatics and Ray's Neanderthal-like qualities rubbed me the wrong way at times--if you're a fan of MMA/underground fighting heroes who play up the tortured soul bit like no one's business and you enjoy FSOG-style sex scenes, give it a try. If you read and enjoyed the first two books in the series, then this one should absolutely be on your TBA. If nothing else, reading this book has me seriously considering getting another tattoo... Though it's the third in the series, Full Contact worked okay as a standalone--characters and situations from the first two books were here and were mentioned, but there wasn't anything you needed to have read in them for this one to make sense. Rating: 3 stars / C I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

4 stars  I have always enjoyed the MMA fight scene and this book does not disappoint although the fighters are underground ones.  We get to see inside the gym of the fighters and get to know them better.  I enjoyed the storyline too as we see Sia O’Donnell push herself to become the woman that she really should be while letting go of the past.  It takes her a while to figure out that loving and trusting someone does not always end badly. Sia O’Donnell has always been arty but when a tragic event cause her to shy away from her love of painting; it is just too painful, she turns to tattooing.  She learns to express herself thru her tattoos but she has lost a little of herself along the way.  The real Sia.  But Ray “The Predator” is fixing to shake up her world. Ray “The Predator” is the best at everything he does.  He has a PI firm and is one of the best underground fighters around.  But he has a dark side and secrets surround him like air.  He has experienced loss and has no desire to feel that again.   Sia has been going to the underground fights as away to watch The Predator without him knowing.  She stays in the background unaware that he knows she is there.  And once they meet face to face; the fireworks will start.  He shows her a side of life that she only dreamed of.  He can make all her fantasies come true but what will it cost her?  And him?  Will they be able to keep their hearts out of the mix?  How can two broken people be able to go forward without hurting each other?  Can Ray protect her from his past?

Wow!  Just wow!  There are no words to sum up this novel.  Castille has officially left me speechless. Castille’s writing is simultaneously eloquent and rough, in an in-your-face type way, really drawing readers into the world of MMA & the lives of her characters.  The fast paced, and heated story kept my attention throughout.  Castille involved me in this story emotionally and intellectually.  The underlying social commentary added an extra layer to the tale, taking it from great to absolutely unforgettable. Not only was the plot fantastic, but this very character driven story is full of individuals that I loved getting to know.  Ray’s got that tough edge of danger that definitely makes you stop and take notice, but also leaves you with a warm, fuzzy feeling that comes with mattering to someone.  The secrecy that surrounds him makes him seem mysterious and yet very real. He is the perfect counterpoint to Sia.  These two lend strength and understanding to one another, creating a dangerous yet caring relationship that will set your blood boiling.  Emotional upheaval is prevalent throughout this novel & directly correlated to the main characters’ pasts.  I appreciated the traumas that formed these two into who they are today as much as I enjoyed getting to know them as they rose above it.   By surrounding her main characters with a lively & lifelike cast of characters Castille really sets the stage for her story.  There are no minor players in this tale.  Readers honestly meet everyone and become part of the Redemption family.  The spot on dialogue brings the characters and situations to life.  The characters’ realistic reactions to situations made them easy to connect with.   Tats, MMA, & alpha men who make you swoon, what more can a gal ask for?  My final thoughts?  I cannot wait to read this one again! Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

OMG, Super-Hot MMA! OMG, this is a super-hot MMA book; this is the third book in the Redemption series by Sarah Castille. This book can be read as a standalone, but once you read it you will want to go back and read the other books in this series. Sia is a tattoo artist, and has been secretly attending the underground MMA fights just so she can see the Predator. When Ray “the Predator” comes to up to her one night after a fight while she is having a discussion with her brother. She can’t believe that he actually knows who she is. When Ray sees Sia he knows he wants her, but he knows he is no good for her. This book was great, I loved Sia and Ray’s story, and how two broken people can find love with each other. I can’t wait until the next book in this series comes out.  A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Events in both Sia and Ray's lives have shaped who they are today and how they approach relationships. They are both hesitant to get too involved, but for different reasons. Ray doesn't ever want to feel the pain of loss again and Sia finds it hard to trust in anyone. Can these two broken souls find love and solace in each other? I love me some hot, alpha MMA fighters and few write them better than Sarah Castille. In fact, the first book in the Redemption series, Against the Ropes, was my first ever MMA romance and I have been hooked ever since. (On a side note, we get a few appearances from Torment in here and dear God how I still love that man). Ray, a.k.a. The Predator, fights with a crazed possession in the ring, and well, he is the same way in the bedroom. Both are a thing of beauty. I loved how Ray was often very caveman like in his conversations, which I found both funny and endearing. I was obvious he cared for Sia, but he had some secrets holding him back and I wanted to knock him around a bit so he made up his mind. My heart broke for Sia and what she had endured. She is not a very confident girl at the start of this book and she has a lot to work through. However we see her slowly growing and becoming stronger throughout and I felt like she came a long way. This was another great read in Sarah's Redemption series and I do hope there are some more to come in the future.

f you like alpha wolves who fight, this is so the book for you! I love a well written story with a fighter, all alpha male and complicated, with a heroine that is less than Little Miss Sunshine. Sia and Ray (the Predator) make a striking couple in that they find salvation within one another and test each other's limits. Sia has a past that dictates who she is now, she tried to lock it up in a box rather than moving forward. Ray has a past that haunts him even now, ensuring he has his own baggage. The two together are like a lighter thrown to gasoline.  They explode and in the most delicious of ways. There's a lot of push, pull, and fall into one another mixed with passion, wicked sex, and love. There's a happy ending that is so sweet I swear I have a cavity, but I like it that way! The story develops and grows, as do the characters, and the writing is fabulous. Sarah Castille is extremely talented! She executed her story perfectly and she kept me hanging on her every word!

This was a hot read that had a bit of all the things I like – a smoking hot alpha hero that’s a bit broken and has some secrets, a heroine who is strong, even though she has issues she is dealing with, a great cast of supporting characters, and a serious attraction between the H/h that makes it hard for them to stay away from one another. I loved learning more about the fighters of Redemption and seeing them interact, being immersed into the MMA world – especially the underground fight scene, and watching Ray and Sia work through some of the issues from her past. One of the things that I really enjoyed about this book was that there were so many different story threads that were woven together seamlessly to create Ray and Sia’s story. You have a damaged heroine who is trying to exist in the world she has created for herself since suffering a trauma in her past. She must reconcile her fear of the physical side of relationships with her desire to give up control and take on a submissive role. She’s locked away her love of painting and color since it represents her past and now only uses skin as a canvas. You have a hero who must figure out a way to reconcile his past with his future, his need for pain to experience pleasure, and a way to reign in his protective nature and learn to give up some control. As all of things different threads play out, there are also outside influences and people that add even more depth to their story. Although I loved watching Ray go over-the-top caveman at times – loved when he would yell out one word warnings to Dr. Death when he was trying to get close to Sia or when he would be all hyped up after a fight – I did have a hard time with some of his speech being a bit too clipped/caveman-ish at times. It seemed a bit out of character to me and was a bit of a distraction at times.  All in all another great MMA sports romance from Sarah Castille – a bit dark, a lot hot, and one that just might find you looking for your nearest gym to find an MMA fighter of your own! I received a copy of this book from NetGalley for an honest review.
