Overview

Instant New York Times bestseller

"Standing up to bullies is my kind of thing."

How did Stormy Daniels become the woman willing to take on a president?

In this book, Stormy Daniels tells her whole story for the first time: what it's like to be a leading actress and director in the adult film business, the full truth about her journey from a rough childhood in Louisiana onto the national stage, and everything about her interaction with Donald Trump that led to the nondisclosure agreement and the behind-the-scenes attempts to intimidate her.

Stormy is funny, sharp, warm, and impassioned by turns. Her story is a thoroughly American one, of a girl who loved reading and horses and who understood from a very young age what she wanted, and who also knew she'd have to get every step of the way there on her own.

People can't stop talking about Stormy Daniels. And they won't be able to stop talking about her fresh, surprising, completely candid, nothing-held-back book.

She owns her choices. I respect her more having read this.

Stormy writes like she talks. Her work is thoughtful, compelling, funny, and comes across as wickedly, brutally truthful. It is easy to imagine her sitting around a coffee table, a kitchen table, the back of a tour bus, and sharing this story out loud with her friends. Her voice is authentic. She spends very little time talking about they short physical encounter she had with a man who comes across as a braggadocio- centered, insecure, little man in more ways than one. Stormy is far more articulate and far more believable then the self avowed sexual predator currently staining the Oval Office with his racist and sexist rhetoric

This is a good explanation of what happens when a woman has to deal with men of privilege and power.

I pray one day that Stormy's life will get to settle down. I wish this episode in her life would have never been exposed. Stormy's friend is right nothing last forever. It just seems like it sometimes.

She tells her story pretty bluntly, and while it's an interesting read especially with today's politics, it reminds me a bit too much on a magazine gossip column.
