Details the origins of how the Elric brothers learned Alchemy from their teacher Izumi. Ed and Al were adorable when they were kids.

This is one of the best volumes ever! This is the coolest orgin of a manga character(s) ever. Their teacher Izumi Curtis is a great character, and gets even better as the series goes on. Just buy it and don't look back.

when I first read this manga book, I kinda cheated by not reading the fifth book first. Do not read this book unless you at least read the fifth book in the series, because if you don't read it, then you won't get the full enjoyment out of it. I say this because when I read it, the book was really confusing, but still intimately hilarious!

I love Fma! I wouldnt be writing this review if I didnt!?! I was kinda mad that Envy wasnt in it but it was still awsome! In one of the extras in Volume 7 or 8 it goes back to 'The Truth' taking things, and it steals Ed's Boxers...LOL! This is one of da best mangas EVER!!!

I have read trhough ch. 56 of FMA online, and I was so happy to finally have vol. 6 in my possession, because it's getting close to where the story starts picking up! While there's not a lot of new development, it leads into the next part of the story, where it gets really interesting! Plus, there's a lot of new insight into the Elric brothers' past. One of my favorite volumes in the series, I must say!
