Futures and Frosting was an amazing addition to Seduction and Snacks. Two of the funniest books I have ever read. I loved that in either book, there was no huge tragedy that had to happen to bring the two main characters together. It was just a really hilarious and sweet love story. I got concerned stares from people around me when I would burst out laughing. I have recommended these books to everybody I know. I dont re-read a lot of books, but these ones I definitely will.

This is a must read! A great continuation of Seduction and Snacks! Both being hilarious and sensual all at once. Loved it!!

Just when you think it couldn't get any crazier......It does. Loved this book. The humor is still there and in full force. I am looking forward to the third book.

I was in a bad mood when I read this. I picked it for that reason actually. The first book made me laugh out loud, and I needed some laughs again. It is pretty funny, but sometimes went overboard. I did laugh some, and it did help elevate my mood so it's still a win even though I didn't enjoy it as much as the first book.

I loved the first one, but wasn't crazy about this one! I loved the characters in the first book, but didn't feel like I cod connect with them as much in this one! A fast read and a good ending, but will probly skip the next two!

I really enjoyed book one and immediately purchased this one. Somehow, the demeanor and quirkiness of the characters deteriorated so much that I stopped reading it at tge halfway point. I read a ton of books and I am open to reading authors who may not be great, but have a fun story to tell. This just felt like it was trying way too hard. I am disappointed. I wont give up on the aurhur, but I hope her next book goes back to her original roots.

If you are ealily offended by bad language, this series is not for you, but I absoloutly loved it. I found my self laughing all the time at some of the things these characters say and do.

It’s been quite awhile since I read Tara Sivec’s first Chocolate Lover’s book, Seduction and Snacks. Because of this, I was happily surprised with how easily I fell back into the story that began in book one. One of the  best things this book and series has going for it are the characters and the dialogue they have. Sivec has spared no one from the obnoxious, outrageous, and flat-out insane antics of Clare and her friends. Gavin, her son, will have most readers either appalled or in tears (maybe both) whenever he happens into a scene…which is often. I feel that I enjoyed this book even more than the first for a few reasons. First, I think it helps that a lot of the characters, their relationships, etc…it was all already established. The comedy and story in general were allowed to play out and I was already familiar with things. I also feel that there was a better balance between the story and the sex scenes (often hilarious ones) in this one. The series can’t go on without them, but in Seduction and Snacks I felt there were too many or a few were out-of-place, enough to get in the way of my enjoyment of the story. In Futures and Frosting, I think the balance was found. I don’t really have any complaints about this book. If I were to point out something for readers to beware of, it’d be going from one chapter to the next. Depending on the chapter, the point of view will be Claire’s or Carter’s. This threw me off often early in book one. Now in book two, I was ready for it, but it wasn’t always easy to figure out who for was talking for a few paragraphs. Most of the time it wasn’t too awkward though. Putting the character’s name under the chapter title would have fixed up any confusions. Maybe book three will utilize that option. And I WILL be jumping into book three much faster than I did from one to two.

I like these characters, but sometimes Tara Sivec's writing style is a bit much and a four-year-old child would never say the things that Gavin says (no matter how precocious!)

I was sneaking reads at the office and had to keep coughing to stifle my laughter. You must read this book! And its prequel!
