WHAT DID I THINK: 3.5 out of 5 Stars; I do love a country cowboy book. I liked the drama, the tension, and the emotional conflict that was in this story. Did I feel connected to the characters? Yes. At first, I did not know what to think about the heroine since I thought what she did to Zack when they were young was not right. However, we learned more about Tracy and I warmed up to her. Tracy was a kind person. I loved how she helped and thought of others. Tracy had some obstacles with her ex-husband, but I love how she handled it. Zack was rugged and all hot cowboy. I really loved how we got the POVs of the characters. Usually that bothers me, but it didn’t in this story. Pace of the Story: Good. Kept my interest. Positives: I loved the drama, the sexual tension. I love these contemporary romances where there is a misunderstanding that has lasted years and old lovers reunited. It was steamy. Negatives: Not sure how I felt about the heroine being called Olive Oyl. Bottom line: It was nice contemporary cowboy romance. I enjoy these small town romances. Book Format Read: A copy was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.
