I found myself quickly getting pulled into this tale about the different life choices made by family members set against a backdrop involving smuggling in South East Asia. Bob Tyler knows this part of the world well and it shows through in his writing. The characters are well drawn and believable. It's an interesting combination of adventure, family history and journey into a culture about which I knew very little. Am looking forward to the next tale in this series.
