Overview

Game vs. Wisdom, we are all in the game. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 1 Corinthians 13:11. As an adult, I have always said that I knew enough about game to write a book about it. But I truly did not know or understand the true definition of game until I knew and understood the Word of God. According to: Merriam-Webster's Collegiate® Dictionary:Game is defined as follows: Any form of play or way of playing; amusement; recreation, sport; frolic, that is, a playful trick or prank. Any specific contest, engagement, amusement etc. Sport involving physical or mental competition under specific rules, as football, chess, or war games. Now watch this: Any test of skill, courage, or endurance. OK, here it is! The Game Of Life, A project, scheme, or plan to see through another's game. This last definition... I would like for you to view as symbolic concerning the way Satan views the human race: "Wild birds or animals hunted for sport or the use of food." Now the human race is not like wild birds or animals because we are made in the image of God and God has given us authority to rule the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1:27-28. But the Bible also says that Satan is always going to and fro in the earth and always seeking whom he may devour. In other words, he is always seeking whom he can consume or destroy. And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. Job 1:7. And the Lord said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. Job 2:2. We will deal with these issues in more detail in the next chapter. Wisdom, on the other hand, according to: Merriam-Webster's Collegiate® Dictionary, is... The quality of being wise, power of judging rightly and following the soundest course of action; based on knowledge, experience, understanding etc.; good judgment, sagacity, having or showing a keen perception or discernment, and sound judgment: having penetrating intelligent and sound judgment. Game is not a word that is found in the Bible but its counterparts are deception, deceptive, deceit, craftiness, beguilement, and false; for example, the deceitfulness of riches. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. Matthew 13:22. In short, riches can make one act in ways contrary to self and wisdom. Another example of deceitfulness is the deceitfulness of sin. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 2 Timothy 3:13. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Hebrews 3:13. Now according to the Word of God: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Proverbs 9:10. What do you suppose the Bible means by the "Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom?" I would imagine that everything except God has a beginning but "God is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last." I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last:... And he said unto me, It is done. The Village Carpenter Publishing House see GalacticOrdainedMinistrie
