About the Author

Born in Norfolk, Virginia, R.C. Tabb grew up in the 1960s. He survived a near-death experience at 8 years old. After high school, he enrolled into Morris Brown College, where he studied communications. In the summer of 1981 he worked as a youth counselor for the City of Atlanta during the years of the Atlanta Child Murders. In Washington State, he was employed as a corrections officer where he took advantage of an opportunity to conduct prison cell interviews with incarcerated pedophiles. In collaboration with students from the University of Washington film school, R.C. Tabb recorded the ghostly cycle of child abuse in spontaneous conversations with abused victims, from ordinary street people to corporate Americans. Incorporating his work experience with child-abuse prevention was his motivation in writing this book.

R.C. Tabb's travels have spanned more than three continents. Such experiences have influenced and contributed to his craft and compassion for inspirational storytelling.
