Overview

Gardens from the Air by Franco Migliorini, Luigi Latini

These birds-eye views of spectacular gardens from all over the world provide a totally new vision of the gardener's art.

Ranging from the Mediterranean to the Baltic and including famous royal gardens such as Versailles and Buckingham Palace as well as more intimate and private pleasure gardens set in Tuscany, the Cotswolds and other treasured landscapes, this book presents an extraordinary panorama that will whet the appetite of any garden lover or visitor.

From Vita Sackville-West's beloved Sissinghurst Castle to urban Renaissance masterpieces like the Boboli Gardens in Florence, through the baroque majesty of Hamlet's Elsinore in Denmark to the contemporary Parc Andre Citroen, this book takes the reader on a voyage through centuries of horticultural elegance and inspiration.
